I've had this spot bookmarked for a while and finally got to give it a try!…read more Stopped by on a Friday evening and it was packed with a line out of the door. A good sign, considering the temperature was below freezing with the wind. When you first walk in, it smells amazing and you can see some of the dishes behind the glass. There is no seating at all, so if you don't live or have a place to go nearby, be prepared to eat in your car. lol There is no official menu that I could find online or in the store, so we had to wing it. We tried to listen to other people's orders to get an idea of what we wanted to try. We ordered the oxtail lo mein and some fried rice. The food was delicious and full of flavor. The oxtail was so tender that the ancestors would be proud. The fried rice was perfectly cooked and packed with vegetables. We didn't order any beverages because we had water, but there are a lot of options in the refrigerator to the right when you walk in. The restaurant is small and chaotic, but the staff is friendly and vibrant. It does take about 10 minutes to get your order but they moved through the long line pretty quickly. Pro tip: the portion sizes are so hefty that people's bags were ripping. Hold your bag from the bottom.

The oxtails were not tasty at all and neither was the lo mein. Yes they give a lot of food for $48.88 cents. It's edible but it was not my cup of tea. I'm glad I tried it , ..I hate to waste food. Very nice people though. The fried shrimp was good...very tight spot. It's a take out for sure they do have tables and chairs outside ...

Their drink menu is creative and includes some of your favorite wines, spirits/classic cocktails. I've ordered/Tasted: The No Woman No Cry Two different Chardonnays (don't remember the names) Mojito Extra Dirty Gin Martini (wasn't my favorite, it tasted like maybe there was vermouth missing from it or there wasn't enough. Still pretty good though.) Each of these drinks were really good! My favorite was the No Woman No Cry, it tasted really tropical. A nicely balanced cocktail that wasn't too sweet! Food: 10/10 The food has come out hot, fresh and delicious each time I visited. I've had: Coconut Shrimp (crispy, really nice crunch, nice amount of coconut) Lamb Tacos (these were made with curry which was something new for me, loved it!) Jerk Ribs (these were SO good! Tender and seasoned to perfection) Mozzarella Sticks () Service: 9/10 I've gone during a slower evening and during one where it was more packed. The first night I was seated immediately at the bar and was taken care of very quickly. The feeling that I got was very pleasant and welcoming. I know this was a courtesy, but my gf and I were able to stay a little past closing (don't expect this when you visit, I just wanted to share to let you all know how kind they were!) The second time I visited it was more busy because they were hosting an event. At this time food took longer to come out. Other than that, the servers did the best they could. Ambiance: 10/10 The ambiance here gives really fun girls night, good music, after work drinks, and a perfect place to have a yap session or even just a chill dinner in a beautiful place with friends. I love how welcoming the staff makes everyone feel and how they check on the tables just enough (and not when you're mid bite ). The Bronx needs more places like this! Overall: 9.25/10 I'll definitely be coming back to hangout with my girlfriends. I think this spot is so cute, the food and drinks are high quality and it's just overall really good VYBEZ (wink). Definitely come here during the week. Their happy hour menu feels ILLEGAL because the prices are so good and the food is even better.

It's typically pretty empty on the dine-in side during the week, but it's jumping more Friday/ Saturday. I stopped in for happy hour yesterday evening and had the shrimp skewers with a mango margarita. My shrimp was fresh and flavorful and my margarita was cool. I'm here often, so I'll be back.

My family used to love BBQs. We frequently visited when I was young with my family and decided to…read morego in for my dads birthday. He had a boot on since he tore his Achilles and was using crutches. We went in 4/27 around 8ish at night. The manager who was on site this day DOES NOT need to be working at a restaurant. What an absolute ***** fill in the blank as you wish. They tried to sit 6 of us in this tiny little corner and we kindly asked if we could be placed somewhere where my dad could spread his legs out a bit more. This guy didn't even let us finish our sentence and RUDELY escorted us and to another table where he we began talking to him AGAIN AND HE RUDELY cut us off and walked away from us again. Gave us the biggest attitude, pointed to the table and left as if we were bothering him. I asked our waiter if he was a manager and shared my complaints with him because well if that's the manager and he acts like that, then I could only imagine him if we approached and confronted his behavior. I will never be back to this BBQs ever and whoever that guy is definitely needs a couple lessons in service. As someone who used to work as a waitress herself, I was completely baffled at his attitude especially since we were just trying to accommodate our dad who I must repeat was IN A BOOT AND CRUTCHES. Wish I would've gotten his name but absolutely left a terrible taste in my mouth about this place. Thankfully our server was very nice and made up for that man's unpleasantness.

Which consisted of rib eyes steak, baby back ribs and shrimp. The steak was nothing to write home about and I probably wouldn't order it again. The baby back ribs were just ok. However, the fried shrimp were excellent. They were golden brown, crispy and flavorful. The cornbread was good as well. Sweet and savory. I had it the next morning with coffee. The portion sizes are big and you can eat at least two meals out of it. As for the drinks I had a seltzer water with lemon. It tasted awful like the fountain wasn't cleaned. I also had a Long Island iced tea. Which was really good and gave me a buzz. If I go back here it will be for the cornbread the shrimp.
