I had read some negative reviews about Clio Spa and Nails but decided to still give it a try because a few of my friends liked it. I've gotten several manicures here--gel by Jenny and Lindsey, and acrylics by Lynn--but worry about the sanitation of this place. I never see the tools taken out of the blue sanitation pouch; they are always already out on the cart. Moreover, when I got my acrylics removed by Jaden, he used a drill head from a box labeled "soiled". Um... Because I would never compromise my safety and health for pretty nails, I will not be returning. read more

I got pedicure here last week since they had a special (you would get a complimentary massage). The salon is very clean and the lady who was helping me was professional. They use high quality nail polish, the only reason that I didn't give them five stars was that it is a little bit pricer compared to other salon. read more

Went here for the first time. I got Alex. He was excellent and I opted for a quick 10 minute neck/shoulder massage. Best thing ever!!!!!! The whole experience was awesome. A little pricey? Yes. But well worth it. I left the place with a spring to my step. It was very clean and organized. The chairs were really comfortable. Alex was very nice and my feet look great! I will be back and ask for Alex and his magical hands! Note: tips are accepted by cash only. This threw me off as I didn't have much cash on me, just enough to tip. This is the best place in the South Bay! I prefer it to my nail salon in LA and wait until I come down and visit my family every few weeks . The customer service is outstanding and waxing and nails, plus a foot massage is the best part of my week. I love every practitioner and as a fellow small business owner , I truly appreciate great service on my time off! I went in for a fill and asked for my nails to be cut shorter than they are they were a but long but not too long little did I know she was going to cut them all off. Very drastic. Never again! Very overpriced for inadequate filing and painting. The lotion they used on my hand also made my hands very dry for some reason, and I am not one to have dry hands. The employees also called my boyfriend ugly, and the man working at the desk was very inhospitable. Overall just an unpleasant experience. read more

i went to get my acrylics taken off today. like many other reviews said, the guy at the counter and other workers were quite and unwelcoming. however, i think it might be because of a language barrier they have. the process was quick, and the cost was cheap ($7-$10), but it was also rough. took a star off for the service and one off for roughness. read more

Just started getting my nails done regularly again, and every place I tried in San Pedro or Torrance were terrible compared to here. The last two times I came here I arrived without an appointment and they accommodated me immediately. Even though Lynn had been busy today, they made sure to have someone start on my nails so I wouldn't have to wait and make the process longer. Lynn always does a good job. Her attention to detail in the designs as well as keeping it clean and even is unbelievable. The last design I had required gold foil strips, and she put so much extra effort into getting them to stay that they lasted just over 3 weeks, and that time she didn't even charge me for the design. I literally walked in this morning with an idea for my child's birthday party this week and she brought it to life so perfectly. I can't stress enough that they go above and beyond for you anyway that they can. Thank you Lynn! read more

I've been here almost 3 times now. I recently got gel extensions and they did a great job. I went a few days ago to get them taken off and they clipped them off with tweezers which hurt a lot, and they cut into my nail and it was bleeding. The service isn't very friendly or kind. My daughter had been to Clio's 3 time prior to get acrylics nails done and each time she was satisfied with the results. On her most recent 4th visit on 2/23/18, she had an older lady manicurist who ignored her request for nail shape, length and gel color. My daughter had asked for almond shape nails and although repeatedly acknowledging her request, she ended up with square nails. Then when my daughter asked for longer nails and the manicurist told her "we'll see" and she ended up with short nails. When my daughter asked for a mat finish on her nails, she was told they did not have enough mat polish but shouldn't a nail salon have more than 1 bottle of mat polish? The manicurist was rude, dismissive and treated my daughter, the paying customer, as though she was a complete inconvenience. To top everything off, the acrylic nails only lasted 5 days and then just peeled off! Completely not worth the price! read more
