The escovitch snapper was so fresh and delicious I'll definitely be returning soon!!

Came here for the first time and the food was tasty. I didn't know what to expect from the spicy beef patty and I would say it was okay. The jerk chicken and curry goat was so freaking good though (mouthwatering) We also got Mac & cheese and potato salad (not pictured) I wouldn't order the Mac &cheese again not sure if it was just the time of day (2:30pm) it looked sad and seemed as it was sitting for way too long, was a bit dry and just ok. Overall would come back for the other two plates and the staff was friendly and on top of it.

If you're looking for good good food check out Clive's Cafe. Everything we ordered was superb. The oxtails were cooked to perfection. Jerk conch was awesome. The portions were scrumptious & generous. Tony was our gracious host. The ambiance was nice. Stop by for breakfast, lunch or dinner. You won't be disappointed.

It's a little far for me. I'm in Coconut Grove, walking into this place. The music was amazing. I sat down. The Lady was very friendly in the bar didn't smile much. but she gave me what I wanted. Everything was amazing. I sat down and I got my favorite breakfast. LOVE IT

I want to start by saying the dish is exactly what it's suppose to be. The fish was fresh and tender. My only suggestion is they put garlic butter on the fish and veggies, It would take the dish to a 6 out of 5! I ordered mine to go so I didn't interact with the staff too much but they were welcoming and nice over the phone. I was really skeptical about the Mac & cheese but they checked that box off with honors and that pushed it to 5 stars. I can't stress garlic butter enough though ijs lol

Looking for an authentic jamaican breakfast and Mrs West did not disappoint. My true Caribbean friends loved it.

The food was amazing!! We got the oxtails and jerk chicken. The rice and peas, mac, and cabbage were great sides. The customer service was great. We were greeted and seated once we arrived. There is a dance area, a nice bar, and even room for live music. The location was easy to find, but parking is limited. Definitely fresh and authentic.

My jerk chicken was decent for the most part . They use what appears to be a dry rub (very visible) in addition to the already seasoned chicken . I thought the combination was ok but not my favorite flavor profile for jerk chicken . Perhaps the amount of the dry rub was just too much or something but it was just ok to me . The rice and peas was abit dry as well and didn't taste of the typical coconut milk but helped by the side of oxtail gravy . The plantains finally weren't super ripened as I'd like them but were ok . The meal didn't come together nicely enough for me to say that I really enjoyed it . Everything individually was just ok . I also was able to sample the bbq chicken and it was very similar tasting to stew chicken . I don't know if I like it or not but I did notice grill marks so I know it was atleast made on the grill . Speaking to one of the workers, Brittany, I also found out that the mac and cheese and the potato salads are made with eggs which are no-no's and for all that I've mentioned, I am personally one and done with Clyde's .

We found Clive's Café on the best of Miami list. I am so happy that we did. I ordered the jerk chicken with macaroni and cheese and plantains. My son ordered the jerk chicken pasta with a side of macaroni salad and plantains. We were both blown away with how delicious the food was. The jerk chicken was to die for. I cannot even explain the flavors. The plantains were the best I've ever had. The macaroni and cheese was pretty good as well. Best of all we were served by Clive himself. Clive is a very personable man with a great smile. The restaurant itself has a nice ambience.Overall, I say Clive's is 10 out of five stars, but that's not an option. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Clive for a wonderful experience.

Jerk pork with rice and Rice & Peas

Nice spot for Jamaican cuisine. We had the jerk chicken, jerk pork, and pasta dishes. All were good. Would definitely return when in the area. It's a nice size location with plenty of seating. Some music playing would be a nice addition to dining in.

This was my delicious meal. I don't think I could put my grandchildren photos in here so this will do.

Well, I thought I had written a review for Clive's Café. We all went here as a family and had delicious food when I was in Miami in December visiting my grandchildren. I definitely want to come back here again. It's located in liberty city which was nice and pleasant for the day and only good things to say what a great restaurant delicious food!

    Spice beef patties

Me and my son just came back from a cruise and since we were in Miami I had to get some Carribean food. My cousin who is from Homestead recommended Clives in Little Haiti so I decided to give it a try and was glad I did. My son ordered the 3 spice beef patties and I ordered jerk chicken, with plantains and rice & peas. I must say that this was by far the best jerk chicken Ive ever had and Ive had some good authentic jerk before. The plantains were cooked perfectly and the chicken was delicious, especially the jerk sauce. The waitress was very nice and the establishment was very clean. i will definitely be back next time Im in Miami.

Curry Goat To Go - it was perfect. Good portion, flavorful with a hint of spice. I recommend - my new go to spot for lunch.

Hi was thinking of going here but my wife is vegetarian and the only vegetarian dish seems to be the Vegetable Chunks - does anyone know what that is?

Vegetarian chunks is a product made of soy. More like a meat substitute.

It's been a while since I've gone to a restaurant and the service and food quality was so amazing that it literally made me stop in my tracks but here we are! I started with a hot mocha latte. That along with the other ingredients used made it taste exceptional! Perfect price point too! I was more than satisfied! Last but not least the service by host staff and waiters was top tier. The Shakshuka was okay--perfectly edible, but nothing memorable. The Steak & Eggs was pretty much the same: decent, but definitely not worth the premium price. The biggest disappointment was the pancakes. They were dense, had noticeable lumps in the batter, and were nowhere near as light and fluffy as good pancakes should be. The syrup also didn't taste like real maple syrup, which was surprising considering how expensive everything is. Speaking of prices, Café Bastille is seriously overpriced for what it delivers. The restaurant also wasn't cool enough inside--the air conditioning struggled to keep the space comfortable, which made the meal less enjoyable. The one bright spot was the service. Our server was friendly, attentive, and did an excellent job throughout the meal. One more thing that is becoming increasingly frustrating in Miami: the bill already included a mandatory 20% gratuity. While I always tip for good service, automatically adding 20% regardless of the experience feels excessive. This trend is getting out of control and takes away the customer's ability to reward service based on merit. Overall, this feels like a place designed more for tourists than for locals. Nice presentation and good marketing, but the food simply doesn't justify the prices. Unfortunately, I wouldn't come back.

We waited quite a while before anyone came to our table, and even after that, every time we needed something, it took a long time to get assistance. We started with coffee, which was fine, but the service continued to be very slow. When my husband ordered the chicken burger with fries, we waited nearly 30 minutes, only to be told afterward that they had run out of fries. That was extremely frustrating, especially after such a long wait. The waiter did try to make up for it by offering us some desserts on the house, which was appreciated, but it didn't make up for the overall experience. Going out to eat should be enjoyable and relaxing, not a situation where you constantly have to chase down your server. The food I tried was okay, but the service and lack of organization really took away from the experience. It seems like management needs improvement. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.
