The vibe is nice! Good music and very cute inside! Everything started off really well. We went around 6 on a Thursday evening and there were maybe 5 other tables that had people sitting. Waitress started off pleasant and welcoming. We orders the oysters and hot honey chicken for starters. Those were pretty good. When it came to our entrees is when things took a turn south. We ordered 2 sides, greens and mac n cheese and then the fried catfish and spaghetti with cornbread. They brought out the catfish dinner with greens and cornbread and Mac n cheese. Instead of leaving that and going to get some spaghetti, they took everything back. I inquired and they bring me my 2 sides. I was done eating and ready to leave before they ever brought the catfish with spaghetti. It's like we had to start the timer all over again. When the food finally arrives, no service recovery. No apology for the mix up. Nothing. Gratuity was included so maybe that's why their was no apology. I was going to order dessert but decided against after that experience. This could have been a 5 star review had they considered or acknowledged the mix up. This was our first and likely last at Kitchen and Kocktails. I think it's over priced (which I didnt mind) but I do mind bad service and overpriced food.

UPDATE: Went back to Kitchen + Kocktails last weekend for a birthday brunch, and while the food was good, the wait times were something serious. We had reservations and were shown to our table quickly, however it was a (long) while before our server came over to welcome us. And once we placed our order (for two entrees), the food took almost an hour to arrive.

This restaurant was fabulous. The host and bartender were very friendly and inviting. The best bartender was GIO. The food was spectacular the chef of the hour came out and checked on us and a few other people. Music was perfect and vibe was excellent. Definitely want to come back to try other drinks and food. M-F happy hour was the menu I ate from.

Last evening we decided to try out the recently opened Kitchen & Kocktail by Kevin Kelley in Wynwood, which is a classy sports bar with lots of TVs and also a restaurant. You can tell they invested a lot of money in the remodeling, furniture, and updating that has made it a very popular spot. They have R & B music and HipHop. They usually have a DJ. This place used to be the Bottled Blonde, which has closed. The attire is classy casual and there were all age groups enjoying themselves. It's also a good date night place. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. As you enter, you are greeted by the friendly doorman to get your wristband . Then you enter a fabulous, brightly-lit tall mirrored cubicle with flashing lights. What fun! It is very bright in there for a bar though. We like more of a low light mood. We had delicious drinks, Frozen Mango Tequila and a Patron Frozen Strawberry shot. We shared Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes. There was more mashed potatoes than chicken so we ordered more chicken. They make really good food there! When you go inside there, the food cooking smells so good. The service was attentive and friendly, no complaints. Street parking because it's Wynwood but they may have a valet. We took an Uber so we didn't really look into that. We had a fun time and are glad we went there.

Love this place not only for the food but the service was amazing. The vibes were good. Music was great and wasn't too loud! Our waiter Ricky was a time. He catered to our needs and was really knowledgeable about the menu. He made my cousin's birthday a memorable one. We had a little bit of everything and it was all yum!!

I've been wanting to try this place! Glad I finally did. We didn't get much but overall, everything was a bit on the salty side. I did however enjoy the fried chicken. Service was great from the moment we walked in and our server Victoria was amazing! Attentive, funny and gave great recommendations when we asked about the drinks.

Restaurant was FREEZING. Service was great. But waiting on the food was extremely SLOW. Food arrived hot and correct. But definitely a wait. Do NOT arrive starving because you will wait awhile for food to come to table.

Finally made my way to Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley and the food definitely lived up to the hype I ordered the fried catfish with mac & cheese, along with the deviled eggs topped with blackened shrimp, and every bite was packed with flavor I also treated myself to a flavored margarita, which paired perfectly with the meal I will say, the service can be a little delayed, so definitely go in expecting a wait. But once the food finally hits the table, you understand why people keep coming back. The food was absolutely worth it

We came to celebrate my daughters 20th birthday. We walked in and the ambiance was great. Awesome place to take cute pictures. It was a different vibe from the DC location but it gave Miami vibes. Our waitress was great although I forgot her name. Our table was steadily checked on throughout the night. All of the food was awesome. I had the stuffed salmon and grits filled with the Collard green dip. My boyfriend had the fried chicken with macaroni. Omggggg I was a little jealous I didn't get it. The Mac and chicken was top tier! Kitchen and Kocktails have not failed me yet no matter the city and Miami was no different. Loved it!

Tiana and Gabby were amazing servers. So funny thing, I came here twice in one day (not on purpose)--once for happy hour and once for a late dinner. I had Tiana for happy hour and Gabby for dinner. The vibe is so lively here. There's great music, lots of laughter and conversation, and beautiful decor. I had the salmon bites and the fried pickles. Both were great even without the sauce. And I learned there's locations in other states so I'm excited to check those out!

I visited Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley while in Miami, and I was honestly really excited to try it. I've been to this concept in other cities like Dallas and DC, so I was looking forward to seeing how it translated to South Florida! Especially with how much the food scene is growing. First, I'll give credit where it's due: the space is absolutely beautiful, and the service was a 10/10. Our server, Destiny, was amazing! She was super attentive, knowledgeable, and gave great recommendations. SHE made the experience better. Now for the food... overall, I wasn't impressed, especially considering the pricing . FYI: everything is à la carte, which adds up quickly. For drinks, I ordered a pornstar martini. It's not on their signature menu, but it was decent and enjoyable. For food: * The oysters (I ordered them well done) didn't come out well done. While that wasn't a huge deal, there was an odd aftertaste. * The "dream eggs" were pretty basic and didn't stand out. * I ordered lamb chops with a Caesar salad and fries. I was hoping for more side options... it was disappointing that something simple like rice isn't available unless you order a specific entrée (like the stuffed salmon, which my friend said tasted overly fishy). The lamb chops were the biggest letdown for me about a 3/10. They were a good size, but needed more time to cook properly. I only ate one and took the rest home.. they're still in the fridge. Overall, this spot wins on ambiance and service, but falls short on food quality and value for the price. I really wanted to love it, but it just didn't deliver...

This place is always clutch. The owner normally word the register and she's a sweetheart. This place is a take out. Food was fresh. The friend plantain was soooooooooo gooooooood. Pickiz were spicy and good. 10/10.

Great service from Tiana, food was good, ambiance was fun and vibey. The only downfall was that they did not have many of the menu items available. I came here from Brunch with a few friends and I truly enjoyed the esthetics and the vibe. They had a DJ playing good music. Everyone looked classy and beautiful. Tiana offered amazing service. She was very attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations. The restaurant did not have shrimp, pork chops, lamb chops and a few menu items available. So many of the items we wanted we could not order. It was very unfortunate because we came a long way to try this place out. Unfortunately, we had to settle for other entrees. There saving grace was that the other entrees were pretty good. We ordered the trinity rolls, and collard green dip for appetizers. Both were excellent. The eggrolls are a bite of Thanksgiving in a roll. The rolls were stuffed with Mac and cheese, collard greens, and sweet potato. Very creative and delicious. The collard green dip was savory and cheesy. Very good. They needed to add more bread for the dip. For Entrees we had stuffed Salmon with dirty rice, Catfish and grits, and Chicken with Butter Pecan waffles. All three entrees were delicious. The stuffed salmon was savory and flavorful. The chicken and waffles were sweet and savory, and the chicken was juicy. The catfish and grits were creamy and flavorful. The catfish was a tad bit on the salty side from the fish fry bit it wasn't unbearable. The Dusse Frose is delicious and the best cocktail on the menu. It comes in a large dusse bottle and it is worth it. Overall, great experience and I will be back.

A great spot for a casual breakfast or brunch! The quality of the ingredients really stands out --…read moreeverything tastes fresh, and they don't overload the dishes with sauces or spices, allowing the natural flavors to shine. I love that they focus on healthier options. For example, their cacao is made with dates instead of sugar, which is such a thoughtful detail. The coffee is definitely a 10/10 for me. I was able to get a walk-in even on a Sunday with only a short wait, which was a nice surprise. The parking situation is not the most convenient since the area can get very busy, but the atmosphere makes up for it. It's a great place to sit both indoors and outside, and the portions are very generous. Definitely a place I'd come back to!

I tried it again today by myself - I just wanted a matcha latte before a yoga class that I was going to. I feel like because I was just ordering a coffee type drink, they weren't showing me attention. Never filled my water. When I asked for update on drink after several min, they just told me 5-10 more min. Not very helpful or fast. The kicker was the "service charge" - I had planned to tip less tbh but they just added what they wanted right to the bill. There's a lot of coffee places around here so I probably won't come back to try the food. I just felt like a bother to the staff the whole time I was there. If you don't want people to stop in for just a coffee, don't promote your coffee so heavily on the signs outside. Cute decor
