Great coffee. Took my grandma there and she devoured the cappuccino. I went back multiple times and every time the same barista guy would tell me that the mocha already has sugar in it. I trust that the coffee is good (given other reviews) but when we came the barista working was extremely slow (took 15 minutes to make drinks when we were the only ones being serviced) and spent more time conversing with other customers than getting us our drinks at an appropriate pace. I genuinely always love when I'm able to talk with staff but he was just focused on flirting with one of his regulars and lazily making our drinks. Maybe we will have better luck at another location. We liked both, but my personal favorite was iced. Great service and great coffee. I can not explain to you how much I enjoyed this place. First of all it's a very aesthetically appealing place. The walls and equipment are black with brighter furniture. The staff was super nice, asking us if everything was okay and answering all our questions. I got an Iced Aerocano, it's a nitrous frothed Americano, and I decided to get it black with nothing added to test the quality of the brew. CLO Coffee Co in North Edison is the real deal. The two baristas that made my drink were consummate professionals, and the flavor and texture of that drink were truly phenomenal, adding anything would have ruined the experience. Found out about this cute coffee shop from instagram a day after their soft opening. What a wonderful coffee shop! It gives you city vibes but also feels very "homey" at the same time (I know this from picking up my to-go coffee). Love that this coffee shop is offering pickup! I've already come here two times in one week! The quality of the coffee is honestly better than Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts. I love that they use Oatley brand oat milk- my favorite! Each time I came, I ordered iced lattes- one with mocha syrup and one with caramel syrup. On both occasions, I asked for LIGHT syrup (meaning quantity of syrup not type of syrup) because this coffee shop does not carry sugar free or light options for syrup- and I'm ok with that because the light / sugar free options always use processed fake sugar anyway. *update they now do carry some sugar free options*. The lattes were both refreshing with a kick of sweetness with the added syrup! The mocha syrup is dark chocolate flavored- definitely makes a difference! This place is so cute!! The staff is so friendly you just want to come back and support them. I came here a few days ago and was so happy I did. My latte was so good!! The girl recommended oat-Ly milk for my latte because they don't have skim and almond sometimes is too nutty. It was such a good recommendation and something I probably never would have tried on my own. It was creamy and it has a nut flavor but not so terrible that it ruins the taste of your drink. I love the atmosphere of this place and their "be kind" vibe. Overall, this place is great however, the size of their drinks and the prices are not even something I'd consider paying daily in NYC (where I work). I adore this place so much. The coffee is great, I tend to stick with an oat milk latte and it's consistently good. The music is always chill and the staff are very friendly. It's such a cozy spot that's perfect to chill, good for a date, or to get some work done for a couple hours. I've been here countless times in the last few months and I'm always excited to make it here for coffee - it's about 25 mins away from me. So I pass many cafes to get here - it's worth it. The baristas that I have had the pleasure of meeting so far Chloe and Sabina . Both are very knowledgeable , very friendly and fast but not in a rushy way.0 I'm sure I could go on about the great customer service is. But I'm sure you all are reading this review to know about the coffee. Which is excellent! I have tried lattes and some of their pour over coffees and their matcha .The coffee is rich and bold in flavor. They have quite a few blends to choose from!! The Matcha tea paired with oat milk is a win! I love it I don't even need to add any sweetener. Honestly even on its own it's really good too! I've tried iced I've tried warm and both ways it's flavorful. They have muffins and doughnuts and cookies with vegan and gluten free options. And I see they just added avocado toast! We visited CLO's Edison location a few days ago and the reviews lived up to the hype. The ambience and vibe of this coffee shop is welcoming, friendly, and perfectly styled. I especially loved their "Be Kind" initiative. Their product is exactly what the area needed. Their is ample parking in the lot and community style seating in the space. I recommend their Cortado, full of flavor and complete with latte art. Along with my coffee, I had their guava iced tea which was made to order and so refreshing. I also had a sip of their pour over and it also did not disappoint. They also sell baked goods (try their chocolate croissant) and snacks (perfect for a visit with kids). Drink wise, I ordered the chai latte and although it was good, it was a little too sweet for my personal liking. My friend's dirty matcha latte (has a shot of espresso) was unsweetened, but surprisingly smooth. The prices are on the higher end and our drinks were around $6, but I know there were some drinks close to $10. We tried to do some work here, but the music was kind of distracting (I'm used to lo-fi and typical coffee shop music). There are a couple of private rooms that are available to rent for $20/hr if you're in need of focus time. Unless you're renting out a room, the vibes here are probably better for catching up with friends rather than studying. However, the decor is super cool and gives CLO the extra star. What can I say about this coffee shop? 1.it made me leave Starbucks and I used to love Starbucks but the taste and quality you deff can't compare it to Clo 2.the hospitality from the workers there are awesome 3. Their almond croissant is to die for 4.the owners Ralph and Jennifer are the best they make you feel like you were part of their family when you go there and interact with you which to me that's something you don't get at these big company coffee chain and 5. Their coffee is just amazing you can taste the difference in the quality and taste of it as soon as you take that first sip of it. My fiancé and me decided to try this spot out last year and fell in love with that we went from going there just on weekends to almost everyday of the week lol.
