What a cute place! The inside has so much seating and is very planty. I loved all of the bright lighting and seating options. The menu is very good, with options of seasonal and regular coffee and tea. I got a decaf seasonal latte which was so yummy. They also have outdoor seating and a baked goods section for those who would like some!

What a lovely cafe tucked away on Broad Street. I got a ham and Swiss panini and an iced latte. The latte was bitter at first, but much better as the ice started melting. The food is really good! So is the coffee and atmosphere. They had some lofi music in the background. One of the coffee machines is quite loud, but otherwise I have no complaints. Would definitely come back in the future if possible! Service was good and fast too!

Haven't been to Cloche in forever and really glad I got to try it again! They have a lot of cool syrup flavors; I ended up getting an iced maple brown sugar latte, which was delicious & had the perfect amount of sweetness. In the past, I've gotten their liege waffles, which are so tasty. Seating inside is pretty limited, but they have a lot of outdoor seating which is nice weather-permitting. Super aesthetic ambiance; friendly & fast service. They have a small parking lot at the back of the shop, but you may have to street park or park at the nearby grocery store and walk over. 9/10 would recommend!

Stopped on our way through town. It was very pleasant and the staff were nice! The place was a little difficult to find, but I definitely recommend.

A cute little coffee shop, Cloche coffee is a plant filled cafe serving coffee and teas. They have a few tables indoors and outdoors optimal for studying/working. They aren't great for big groups though. I came on a Saturday afternoon and they were quite busy, but the baristas were extremely friendly and patient with each customer. I opted for their matcha with oatmilk, and it was great! It had a strong matcha flavor without being too bitter, and it wasn't too milky either. Cloche is easy to miss, but worth the stop in Durham!

Really cute little spot next to Duke's East campus :) came here with a friend and walked in, the ambiance is incredible, really feels smoothing and calm. They have a lot of greenery as plants, really nice decor, and it feels like a peaceful space to be. They also have a nice outdoor area too! Their tables are a tad wobbly outside though- don't be like me and set my cup for tea down, accidentally bump it, and spill some tea They have a great selection of drinks and are really affordable! Also have some nice snacks in the form of pastries, I will have to try their waffles at some point too cause they sounded delicious. Service is great, very friendly and have a great smile on their face, and pretty quick to get your things out! Come check it out some time.

There's a lot of nice spaces to sit here. They have an outdoor patio, inside seating, and a little table in the hallway. I got the chai latte with almond milk and it was great! Really strong chai spices. I added a bit of sugar but it was already sweet on its own as well.

Really love this place for its study vibes and liege waffles. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, and there are tons of plants inside (some for sale!). It's much cooler on the inside, not sure if that's because of the AC or the darker lighting. The baristas make great coffee drinks, and they also have a nice selection of non-coffee teas too. Definitely one of my go to cafes!

Located across the street from Duke University... their east campus location this place definitely is a hole in the wall as seeing it from the street is hard to find given the little sign and the building looks like a generic business building but since I was meeting a friend here I def knew it existed lol Small coffee shop with limited seating inside but outside it's got a little area to relax but the service is great and you will find plenty of students here or course The prices are totally fair and the mocha ice coffee I had was bomb! Definitely recommend hitting this up if ya need a quick drink

Drinks: I ordered my go-to (vanilla latte with almond milk) and it was sweet and delicious. Service: the waiter was very kind, friendly, and attentive! He greeted customers by name and explained different drink options to me. Environment: very small but cute place. There were lots of plants inside and extra seating outside. Overall a great coffee place, I just wish they had a few more food and drink options!

Nice but cozy. Had a skinny cappuccino which was just the way I like it, micro bubbles throughout, not foam shoveled on top.

We've been to Aaktun in Durham multiple times for both breakfast and dinner, and it's honestly become one of our favorite spots. I'm Peruvian and grew up with Peruvian cuisine, so seeing lomo saltado -- a classic Peruvian dish -- on the menu immediately made me happy. Having also grown up in Mexico and lived in places like Miami, I really appreciate what they're doing with the menu: a modern, delicious take on Latin flavors that feels creative without losing what makes those cuisines special. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. You walk in thinking it's a stylish little coffee shop, then head toward the back and the whole place opens up -- gorgeous bar, tropical touches, cozy alcove seating, really cool vibe. One time we went with friends for a special dining experience they were offering, and it was excellent. The food, drinks, and whole experience were made even better by Fernando, the manager, who has always been incredibly warm, helpful, and accommodating. Highly recommend Aaktun for breakfast or dinner. Still haven't made it there for lunch somehow, but at this point we'd be shocked if it wasn't great too.

"Part Dos - Mostly great, with a few exceptions"…read more Food temp is major in my book. While many of the food options were hot, several were not, and I believe that impacted the overall dining experience. We ordered classic breakfast and jerk chicken lunch options. For drinks: Cappuccino and Mango Refreshers. The good: (1) Fried rice - which accompanied the jerk chicken (served hot). While simple, the slightly earthy and bitter (in the best way possible) from the braised/steamed baby bok choy perfectly accompanied the earthy mushroom, and complex soy inspired fried rice. So good - this could be a vegan or meat side entree unto itself - IMO. (2) Scrambled Eggs - If you enjoy large curds of gently scrambled eggs - this is for you. While we enjoyed the remaining options for portion size and flavor, we did note that the temperature was cool to mid - which impacted overall flavor. Jerk Chicken: we understand this is a jerk inspired interpretation. With that being said, the most interesting flavor was limited to the crispy skin. Perhaps the chicken was immersed in a salt brine and basted with a jerk flavoring? We loved the white (perhaps mayo based sauce), and accompanied pickled red onion. But baby, the food temp. Yucca fries - if you're unfamiliar - are the baby of a green plantain and white potatoes. While good, they were not hot. Maybe could have benefited from a unique sauce? Food service good. But the biggest miss was the cheese hash browns and Mango Refresher. Hash brown (cheese) room temp, and tough - Mango Refresher - too tart and not worth the cost. As far as ambience: Customers were Hip, sexy, multi ethnic , and included old and young. We loved our waiter. Overall, a little disappointing especially considering we loved our first coffee breakfast visit so much. Not sure if it was an off day or we just prefer other menu options. However, we'd definitely visit again! Brunch/lunch: 4.2

The strawberries and cream was super delicious and hit my craving just right. The bang bang shrimp tacos had a kick with the sauce, but incorporating pineapple was what gave this a 10/10 for me. It had a sweet and spicy flavor to it, which balanced these tacos to perfection with each bite. The employees behind the counter were extremely friendly. I recommend this spot for anybody who's local or traveling through.

It has solid coffee: Drinks here are consistently pretty good. I usually go for their Campfire Latte (a signature for a reason) or whatever seasonal syrup they're featuring, and their matcha latte is reliable too. It has actual, warm food: simple but satisfying sandwiches with enough variety to make for a perfect study snack or light lunch. I am often disappointed when coffee shops only offer cold pastries. It has entertainment: I love taking a quick study break to browse the shop's outdoor gear and clothing; it honestly feels a little like being transported to the West Coast for a moment (give me some Oregan vibes!).
