The menu runs from salads, to tacos, to hot dogs to a meat and three (or for those in Greer, a meat and four), which is not a range you encounter often in a single establishment. This was my second visit to White Wine and Butter. The menu said 30 minutes wait time but it surprisingly came out quick. When we asked for plates to eat the meal from the server brought out two appetizer plates. This was confusing because I'm not sure how he expected us to eat chicken and two sides on app plates. We struggled through it. The chicken was tasty with the right amount of heat on the skin. The macaroni and cheese however was a huge disappointment. It was beyond bland. I had to question if an African American Chef really okay'd that recipe. The collards on the other hand were overly seasoned and had too much of a kick. It was as if someone in the kitchen got a little too heavy handed with the peppers. I had to read the menu to see if this was called out. It wasn't, which was disappointing, because I could not eat them, and I don't mind a higher spice level.
