I can't believe I've never seen this place before. I will say we turn off wade hampton before passing it. It's kinda hid back off the road in a corner though. What a great place !!! It is a bar so it's kinda loud. I'm not sure why a bar is supposed to be loud when everyone is drinking and trying to watch TV and having conversations. That was on a Saturday evening we went there, and now I'm planning on being the whole family, grandkids and all on a Sunday for wing day, the very next day. We ordered the flounder and shrimp plate and a Carolina burger. A huge amount of food comes with these plates. The service was great also. This is a well kept secret. The food speaks for itself. The lunch special is second to none. The hamburger is a 10oz patty on a large bun topped with all the toppings and plenty of them. Stand by for a juicy and tasty meal. The chef doesn't squeeze all the juices out. The meal is served in a large pie tin. You can have fries or tots. Not only is the burger big but there are enough fries or tots to feed a small country. Service is great; a pet picture wall and tv's everywhere. I got recommended this place by family for their tots of all things. So we got some tots and nachos to split for the table and my family was right - what an excellent choice! We topped off with fried Oreos and those may have changed my life the staff is so sweet and always kept our glasses full. "Generous burgers"...? How vacuous is that. It's not a bad place to have a few beers. Nothing is made fresh. The salsa is basically the equivalent of Old El Paso sauce. The wings are as dry as dust due to the fact that they cook the wings, leave them around (until someone orders the wings) and then they reheat them.. I have shoved wings up others asses that have a better taste. You can tell that people are losing interest because every time I come in the clientele has diminished..The slovenly and slow witted bartender (who stuffs her face with food behind the bar) makes the experience even less appealing, if that is possible. read more

Well let's begin by saying that while I write this review I'm currently sitting in a booth waiting on my food to be brought out. I have been here for over an hour now!!!! How long does it take to cook a burger to medium? There is another man here who came in got served and will most likely leave before I ever even see my food. The cheese fries that I ordered as an app are good but even that took a long time to get to my table. Finally get my burger after an hour and a half of waiting. The burger is good but some of my fries were still cold. Not like they've been sitting on the counter but more like just pulled out of the fridge. In summary the real disappointment here has been the service or lack there of. While my burger was very good it took way too long to get and the sad part is there were only about 7 customers in the place and half of them were already eating. read more

Holy goodness. I don't remember the name of it, but whatever their pimento cheese and candied jalapeño bacon burger is called deserves some (profane descriptor of your choice) accolades. It's about the best thing I've put in my mouth- similar in style to my favorite SC burger at Fleet, but hitting the bar. My friends also love the fish. The loaded tots are also badass fare. There's a long-timer in the kitchen who will come out and let you sample some of his badass cooking so you know what to get next time. A pleasant surprise! My wife and I along with another couple pick a different restaurant each month to gather. This month was my turn. I don't like chains. So when I saw Riff Raff, it sounded ideal!! The reviews were pretty good. The bar and grill caters to locals. Which is something I prefer about a small place like this. The waitresses and bartender were extremely friendly and attentive. The food was good. In fact they served me one of the best burgers I've had in a restaurant. Juicy, cooked as requested, and huge!! Tater tots!! If you're looking for fine dining, this isn't it. I am a nacho fiend and of course had to order the nachos. I decided to make it my meal for dinner and it did not disappoint!! The portion is large enough to share with multiple people as an app but it filled me up and allowed me to have a small amount leftover. We enjoyed every visit and the burgers are amazing. The eating-in experience is worth while; we done carry out, but it's not the same.

This is a great little sports bar, with a small menu (that's a good thing) and lots of TVs. Their side salad $5, and to me it seems more like a $9 salad. It tasted great and came with grilled bread. The bartenders are young, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it also means they don't wanna say the wrong things. I asked what Riff Raff was known for as far as food, and they just kept saying "everything on the menu is great." So I settled on the patty melt, but for some reason they don't serve thousand Island dressing with the patty melt. Or even have it on hand. Maybe that's a regional thing? The sandwich and the fries were tasty but they way too salty. I couldn't eat the whole meal, and I'm a big boy. There were two tables behind me that were extremely loud, and normally I would not hold that against the establishment, but it was obvious that both parties were over-served by the bartenders. So much so, that the guys were stumbling up to the bar to ask the bartenders if they would be their girlfriends, even though there was a 25 year age difference. We got the Golden fried Flounder to go. The portions were very large. Food was ready when we arrived and the atmosphere in the restaurant was nice. Located in the center of a small strip right behind a Little Caesars, You will find with i believe to be the best hamburger on the planet! There are several booths and high top tables along with seating at the bar. Since I was alone, i sat at the bar. Service was friendly and high seats were comfortable. The clientele seems friendly as well. So with my mission being burgers, I ordered the Carolina Burger (- See pics) melted Pimento cheese - bacon - BBQ sause and the kicker - candied Jalapeno peppers. So good - not that spicy and not that sweet, but definitely added a depth of flavor to this 10 oz goliath. For a side i had Tater Tots - very good - so many I could not finish.
