If you're reading this and looking at a home that this company manages just keep looking. Impossible to talk to anyone unless they need something from you. I lived at 535 foothill Blvd in Glendora less than a year when I moved in I was assured the move in inspection was to show everything that was needing to be fixed and when I moved out after not even hanging a picture on a wall I was charged $2000 from my deposit for things that needed to be done when I moved in! I sent photos and I have all of my move in documents but no one bothers to help. I even paid $300 for a move out clean only to be charged an additional fee it's ridiculous . Super disappointed it the way everything was handled. Living anywhere else will be better for you. read more

I was a tenant of theirs for almost 3 years, and I can honestly say they are the best I've ever encountered. They truly care about their tenants and their owners. Every time I had any maintenance issues, Clockwork was quick to respond and assist as best they could. Everyone I encountered from the Clockwork team was friendly, professional and eager to assist. Derek and Ray in particular were always communicative and helpful, even when there were challenges to address. We just got our old home rented out, and we couldn't be happier with our experience working with Clockwork, their level of professionalism has always amazed us. Starting from the beginning, we contacted multiple rental management companies, and Brent was one of the most straight-to-point guys we talked to. Brent also did the initial inspection with us; besides taking photos and pointing out places that needed repair, he spent the time to go through the contract with us, and explained every single detail of each clause. Derek took over after we were ready to start marketing. He also managed all the communications from repairs to tenant onboarding. We asked them to handle all the repairs, their contractors did a great job for a very reasonable price, and on top of that, Derek handled all the scheduling and post-repair checks, we didn't need to worry about anything, every step was timely communicated to us. Tenant signed the lease in just about 3 weeks after we signed the contract (less than 2 weeks if you count the time from we turned on marketing), and moved in in less than a month. We know that Derek is taking good care of the tenants because we occasionally get emails from Derek asking questions on behalf of the tenant. Did I mention that they have a handy online portal that manages all the transactions, repair orders, and other paperwork? I consider this a huge plus, for people like me who wants to always stay informed. They are incredibly hard to get in contact with. We've been trying to speak to a rental agent for over a week, multiple voicemails left and text messages were unanswered. There are a few listings for properties to rent that say they are managed by Clockwork Property Management, but when you go to call you are always forwarded to voicemail and never followed up with. There was only one instance where Leah Duckworth texted me back, but she would not answer any of the questions I actually had about the property. She just asked me a few questions about my income and credit and then sent me an application. I wish there was 0 stars I could give this company. Absolutely shit show dealing with them. Mark and Omar especially. They are quick to reach out when they need something from you but when you need something they are no where to be found, they ignore emails, texts and calls. I'm pretty sure anyone giving 5 stars either work there or are family members. When we moved in the house it was dirty, dusty and carpets were worn. All this was included in the move in inspection. The first issue came when there was a leak that was a result from some pre existing roof damage. We notified them of the issue and it took over 2 weeks to get the issue repaired. This caused significant damage to the ceiling and wall. The next issue happened when my car got towed from in front of the house . I had to pay $400 dollars to get it out. We were not told that our car couldn't be parked in the street in front of the house. This was apperantly a rule from the HOA. When i spoke i called and spoke with the HOA they told me that the property management was suppose to have put our cars on the parking list they have. This property management didn't make us aware of this. We never received the hoa hand book that their contract says we should have received either. After staying for awhile at this property we decided to move out , we placed our 30 day notice and cleaned the house better than it was when we first moved in. However they told us we needed to hire a cleaning company to come and clean it and if we didn't they were going to take it out of our deposit. We hired a company. They wanted us to also show them proof of receipt. They also wanted the carpets professionally cleaned even though when we first moved in it wasn't ans there was stains. This was included in the move in inspection too but they didn't care, they tried to find anyway to keep as much of our deposit as they could. After 20 days of moving out we still had not received our deposit. It wasn't until I sent a email to Mark and Omar's boss that they sent us our deposit. Mark and Omar were complete ASSHOLES . STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY THEY WILL TRY TO KEEP YOUR DEPOSIT AND THEY ARE JUST CROOKED . The property address was 3220 Willowgrove pl Riverside CA 92503 read more

I have to start off by saying that as a tenant my previous experience with a management company and who they contract with has not been the greatest. Ever since we moved and started working with Clockwork Property Management my experience has been different. I have kept my reservations though but after putting a work order Sunday for a water heater not working, having a tech come out the next morning and the issue resolved by Tuesday morning has really left me very pleased. Brian from Brian's Handyman Services was amazing, professional, understanding, very informative and communicative with what was going on. He explained the issue, the way to resolve it and what to do if any other similar issue was to arise after replacing the water heater. He was apologetic because it took 2 days but from previous experiences with another company 2 days was nothing. We were in the process of buying a house, and were in desperate need of a reliable and reputable property management company to list and manage our rental. Since I had no prior experience with the property mgmt side of things I went where everyone else does first - an internet search. Three companies returned in doing a search for property management companies in the San Gabriel Valley. As soon as I hit the enter button on my computer expressing my interest, Southern California Prop Mgmt (now Clockwork) was calling me on the phone. Talk about responsiveness!! Brent was a true professional over the phone answering every possible question I could think of, and left a great first impression. Now, with that being said it sounded way to easy and did sound to good to be true, that I wanted to give him my business. I compared Clockwork to two other companies who were also professional and responsive, and made things a little more difficult. So, I scheduled an appointment with Brent in order to get an assessment of the person and business. After meeting him, he was as genuine and sincere as he was on the phone, and again left a great personal impression. He answered every question, did not push his company on me, always made sure he was available if I had any concerns, and was completely transparent and flexible about concerns I did have. First off, Clockwork Property Management exceeded all expectations. Since it was our first time renting a home, we opted for professional help instead of trying to rent out ourselves. Nicole was our first point of contact and she could not have been more informative and helpful. She offered to come over and do a walk-thru to cover what needed improving in order to get out home on the market. She informed us of the whole process and answered any questions that we had. After completing paperwork and checking off all of the requirements, it was time for our home to be listed. It took a total of 2 days before we had a serious party interested short after received a fully executed lease. 2 days! I was told beforehand that most homes take anywhere from two weeks to a month to be rented out. This is a prime example of their powerful marketing and how reputable their company is. Lastly, we were assigned Mark as our property manager. He has been great so far and have no doubt that our home is in good hands with him in charge.
