He's not a salesman - he's a security expert who knows what you need and is honest and direct. He didn't try to upsell me on excessive unnecessary items like other companies. He asked about my goals and truly sought to understand exactly what I wanted before giving his suggestions. I asked tons of questions which he answered thoroughly and patiently. The best part about the experience was he could instantly tell I was shaken up from a previous incident and was so compassionate while still being direct. He talked to me about how to keep myself safe in case of another break-in given the layout of the new house and improve overall house safety in other ways. He even noticed the doors weren't installed correctly and missing tiny parts that make a door super easy to kick in. You don't always get more bang for your buck and it's definitely much more expensive than a DIY Google Nest self install, but I will sleep better at night knowing I got the true expert advice I needed to keep myself and my home safe. Due to the permitting system in the area and the issues with the owner of the house I lease there may be issues with getting one feature but I am going very out of my way to find a way to get what he thinks I need. As former PBX operator, agents have excellent "how to speak with customers training". Monthly fee and initiation fee is expensive, but I find they repond within 20 seconds? The two piece system: You speak through a daily charged unit, and wear a bracelet or pendant. No phone required for the most expensive wireless unit. Take both with you when running errands. Pros: Immediate response when button or fall detection is triggered day or night. And I'm clumsy so they check in with me every few days. Cons: My pendants low battery has been replaced 3 times over the past year at a cost of $20 delivery fee each time to get my replacement. Website quotes 18 months, yet I've had to send the pendant back to them and get a replacement at least twice over my first year. Pendant has a 3V, not buttoncell type battery.

The alarm console in my hallway repeatedly beeped every few hours for weeks, and despite calling…read moremultiple times, no one could tell me what was causing it. Each time, I was essentially told that nothing was wrong, even though the beeping clearly continued. At one point, I became so frustrated that I called simply to ask how to turn off the beeping. I have two young children in the house, and the noise was disruptive, especially when it would happen during the night. I was told there would be a charge just to show me how to turn off the beeping -- despite the fact that no one could explain why it was happening in the first place. The representative then told me someone would call me back within five minutes to walk me through how to shut it off. No one ever called. The lack of communication and customer service was incredibly frustrating. If your system is going to repeatedly beep for weeks, I expect the company to be able to identify the problem and provide a reasonable solution -- not tell me nothing is wrong and then charge me to stop the noise.
