Closet is located in a shopping plaza that I usually shop at every once in a while, when I need to buy eyelashes. I actually stumbled into this store after shopping at Julie's which is right next door. The last time before my recent visit, the store was a lot smaller and their plus size section was two racks. I was surprised that they actually expanded the store and half of the store is catered for plus size clothing, which is great! A lot of clothing stores don't offer plus size and they are really missing out on that market! They also added fitting rooms which is so awesome! I am not much of a color or crazy pattern kind of girl. I like solid colored shirts with a nice shape to them. When I need just a basic long sleeve shirt, this place is a great spot for it! Their long sleeves are around 5 bucks which is fair. They last pretty long and I wash the two I bought from here pretty often. This place doesn't offer anything special! They are just really convenient to shop at. It is a bit annoying when there is a line and two registers but the owner doesn't help by double ringing. She stands and watches, which is fair since the area they are located at isn't the most noble place. Its her business, so I suppose she will run it however she sees fit. They have great clothes but it's a bit pricey, The whole time I was there looking around it was just the constant stares like if I was some thief. Made me feel uncomfortable. Do not shop here unless you want to every move of yours to be watched. They make you feel like a criminal/thief. The employees will follow you around and the manager or owner will make it super obvious and act like she is fixing the clothes or looking at it. As mentioned in other reviews, the customer service is NOT there. The employees will never smile at you or greet you. Instant judgement when you walk in. You can tell the manager makes them follow customers. I used to shop here a lot but I came to the realization that it's just so uncomfortable and not even worth it bc it's expensive and they supposedly have an exchange policy but when you purchase they always say it's all final sale so like I don't get it? I never write reviews but the customer service I just received was unacceptable. I went in trying to return my dress, I had gone in previously but was told to return when a manager was in, I wasn't able to make it before the 7 day policy ended due to my schedule but I still went in after trying to return it, two older ladies were at the register, they saw my receipt, one them circled the 7 days & threw it on the counter and walked away!! The other lady was looking at me all confused, she didn't even know what to say or do. I was so mad; I have been a customer for several years & have been giving this store my money. It is not okay to have anything thrown or to not have been given the chance to explain why I was there after the 7 days. I'm never going back. read more

I really like this store, they have tons of clothes( look at the picture I took) I love that they have a plus size section, because these are hard to find. They have great music too. Wish, I could give this place ZERO stars! I do not shop here often, but I decided to go in. Because I was next door at Mr. Biggs getting something for my fiance. Now, one of my co-worker shops here often and mentioned to me that they watch you like HAWKS in there. So I was awaiting for them to start following me in the store but they did not- so I was a bit surprised. I looked around for about 15 minutes- needed a top that was really high up, told one of the sales girls and she got it down. Prices are like Mall prices- so whatever. But I said to my self, what the heck let me take the top, I thought it was cute. Went up to the register and put the top on the counter. A young girl came to ring me up. The top was like $17.99 or so with tax about 20 dollars and some change. I handed her a $50 dollar bill. She told me just minute, she walked over with the $50 bill ( I guess for the manager to check it) which did not bother me, I know these type of stores do that. So I was not tripping on that but then she came back and asked me if I had a smaller bill and I said "No" because I really didn't. She then stood quite and I said "Why, are you telling me you do not have change for it?" She said "No, it is because it looks funny" I start laughing and said "What do you mean it looks funny?" I guess her manager- told her it did not look real or some shit like that. I then told her " Well that bitch needs to check her eyes" Because, I worked in retail and I know how to check bills. And that bill is real!!! By this time I was pissed off, so I slammed down 6 other $50 bills and I told her to choose one. The girl looked at me and then looked at the money and grabbed a newer looking $50 bill and said this will work. I laughed again and walked out with that top and WILL NEVER shop there again, even if they are giving shit away for free. It did not piss me off that they had to check it, or even that they thought is was fake or whatever. It is that fact that the bitch ass manager did not even come over and explain the issue or the situation. If she would have done that in a proper manner, I would have not been upset. Again, I worked retail a long time ago and I situations like this will happen but you have to explain nicely to the customer- not send some kid to do your dirty work. Im not a person to complain or even write reviews BUT a simple hello would go a long way. Basic home training. I was literally in the store for about 30 minutes and although there was 3 people working at the moment....NOT ONE acknowledged me. I like a lot of their clothes. I would do a lot of shopping there but the owner is always there. She is a very rude person, does not appreciate your business. She watches the poor girls that work there like a hawk!! They all seem to get very nervous around her. They can't even talk. She's always behind them. It's awful. i shop here ALL THE TIME. Like literally all the time, every friday to be exact. The owners follow you around the store, even if you're a regular customer and are extremely rude. Mothers day weekend my mom wanted some sandals from a different store that were $35. Closet had them for $17.99. I immediately called and asked if they had a size 7 so i wouldn't take the drive (which is pretty far from me) and they did have her size, and said i would be right over to pick them up. It was a Thursday around 7:50 PM and i wanted to get them because the next day was Friday (pay day) and i didn't want them to sell out. I drove 15 minutes to them and when i got there the doors were locked. I thought maybe they were closing early because they usually close at 9PM but were waiting for me. I called to let them know i was outside to pick up the sandals and the manager/owner of Closet said "No were closed you come back tomorrow okaaaay byee" while making eye contact with me from the door. I thought there must have been a misunderstanding, and explained that one of her employees said i could pick up the sandals she said "Nope come back tomorrow" and hung up on me. I tried so hard not to go off on her, i wasted gas, and time when she clearly said I could pick them up, and she knows I'm a regular customer. If you like bad customer service and being followed around, this is the store for you. I have since boycotted there store and will not return until something about management is done. read more

The store is pretty basic carries the same clothing as a lot of the other stores such as style express or fasion boomy but their prices are a lot higher....customer service is non existent it's basically...an "are you ready to buy" at least in my case...bottom line paid $16 for some leggings I found at fashion boomy for 10$ read more

I went yesterday yo shop with my friend and usually I get great service. But this time I didn't realize they were almost gonna close in 35 mins. I went in and grabbed a couple things I went to the fitting room to try them on and the asain lady said something to me I said what did u say and she made a face at me and rudely said how many. So i said 5 she counted them then put me in a room. I tried them on and came out to show my friend and she kept making faces. So anyways we were getting ready to leave and she had already turn some of the lights off turned off the music and locked the doors. She went to unlock the door for the people who were done paying before us and we were walking towards the door and she says.....hurry up hurry up u gotta go out. I was like really. Such bad service. And I always go there and spend lots of money makes me not want to go back. Like really the lights or music should of still been on while customers are still shopping.
