Favorite clothing store. I'm all over the board... 00-2. Fabric is always pretty and clothing is well made. Staff is beyond helpful and inviting. I've redone my entire wardrobe over the last year. I'm so pleased with all the deals and coupons. I prefer here over Lane Bryant and Target. Both those locations the items shrink on cold. I will say the bras here are some of the absolute most comfortable ones I've ever owned. read more

This store and their staff was AMAZING! I was shopping for a plus sized teen for her high school graduation and our choices everywhere were limited to matronly overpriced dresses. I googled Torrid, and we went there. The staff was so nice and helpful, they had an amazing selection of age appropriate dresses for her and we ended up getting exactly what she needed. I came into torrid today with my sister and best friend looking for the perfect pair of shoes. I was pleasantly greeted by Talia and continuously checked on as well. She was so welcoming and helping, it really made my shopping experience enjoyable. As plus size individuals, shopping can often be intimidating. People like Talia make shopping an enjoyable experience and although her gestures may not seem like much to others, her kindness and patience really left an impression on my friends and myself. I LOVE Torrid. The store at the Southbay galleria was my go to until the store at Del Amo opened!! The staff has always been friendly but one stood out...SALLY!! She is so nice and always remembers Me and my mom when we go in. She moved to another store for a few months and honestly I did all my shopping online since Sally wasn't at the store anymore! I went to make a return and was pleasantly surprised that Sally had returned to the Del Amo store! Sally is such a sweet girl and very helpful and personable. I have also recently met Tali! I believe she is a new manager there! She and sally are my dream team! They both helped me pick outfits for 2 weddings and a Hawaii trip!! I've never had good experiences with bras in my size and their bras are by far the best most comfortable. Not gonna lie and say they are affordable but for comfort they're worth it. Staff has always been friendly and helpful and store is always well kept, clean and organized. read more

Sally Sally Sally....what a lifesaver! I called the day before and had an associate (not sally) put a top that I was interested in on hold for me. Well, so I thought she did. Got to the store and it was NO where to be found! (Sad Face) No worries.... Sally took the time out, put on her thinking cap and MANUALLY ( I mean looking ALL around the store) and actually found the top I could only describe as I didn't write down the item number. ( Didn't think I needed too, mistake) Long story short, it was rapidly turning into one of those dreaded WASTED shopping trips we all hate. (Right ladies?) Thankfully, Sally hit it DEAD ON....and NOT only did she find the top... it also looked GREAT on me so I will have yet another sexy top to rock when I hit to Vegas in a couple of weeks, Party Time!! The cleanest, most organized and helpful Torrid! I stopped shopping at the Redondo location back in June because of how filthy their store was and the poor service. I had shopped there for funeral clothing and the employee suggested a see-though handkerchief belly shirt. Um....yeah. Since the clothing selection at the Galleria location was pretty poor (and what they did have was usually wrong side out or dirty looking and had bags of McDonald's trash shoved under it) I went to the Del Amo store. The service was incredible, especially from Rakela. I was able to find exactly what I needed and Rakela was super helpful. I really appreciated her feedback. I let her know how bad the Galleria store had been and she promised to call over there and get it straightened out. The Del Amo store is also bigger and carries a much wider selection of styles and sizes. The atmosphere alone is worth a trip. Plus you can stop by Lemonade after so it's a bonus! read more

These young ladies are rock stars. They go out of their way for the customers. They are nothing like the managers at the South Bay. It's Always a positive experience when dealing with any of them. If you are in the area skip the South Bay and head on down to the Del Amo Mall The store manager at the South Bay galleria is a Racist!!!!! She never speaks to any of the people of color! I've been going through a health and weight loss regimen ( 5 months in ) and Tali was so incredibly helpful in finding me clothes I can use both now and when I get smaller. Her customer service was superb and so was her other associate's ( bless her, i don't remember her name ). My shopping was peaceful, she popped in whenever I called for her and she very patient while I went through TONS of clothes. I walked out with a little bit of everything; slacks, dresses, jeans, sweater and leggings! Thank you Tali, I look forward to working with you again! I recently returned a few items I purchased online to store #5453 on 10/5/16 When I got to the store I realized I didn't have my receipt but I DID have my emails, access to my order history and my torrid credit card that was used for the online order. I asked if that info would suffice for a full return and if not, I'd come back. she said no, it'd be processed like having a receipt. first off, the person helping me was only half paying attention to me during the transaction. she stopped multiple times to talk with someone who came in well after she started at tje register. the other woman said she needed to use her mom's credit card and hot cash but didn't have any id. she asked the cashier if thay was possible. I was mortified when she said YES! While she was half helping me, I noticed the amounts of tje items being returned weren't what I remembered paying for them. when I said something to her she said "no, you bought them on sale"...which I didn't remember but I trusted her because she had every bit of information to process the transaction correctly. my 3yr old was. ring extremely difficult at that point so as soon as she gave me reeipts, I signed them in a hurry and left. I was going through my purse just now and found the receipt from the return. I'm LIVID. 1)She returned this "with no receipt" 2)She lied when she said inlaid sale prices, I looked back at my order and I paid FULL price. 3)bevause she did 1 and 2, I didn't get tje correct amount refunded to my card! I am SO furious for a number of reason and I will NEVER be returning to this store again. read more

Small store but on both my visits Manager Kisha & Associate Rekala and Manager Crystal & Associate Anna were AMAZING!! So accommodating, helpful, patient & friendly. Managers helped out with price adjustment & I can tell Customer Service is very important to them which is so rare nowadays. Thank you ladies!! Check out their Clearance racks too- great deals!! Please note CORPORATE: on the BOGO sale in May, the 30% only rang up as 10% which I later noticed. Also think the Torrid Rewards should last at least a few months, not weeks. The staff is always so helpful and I shop here so much they know me personally so it feels more like a family atmosphere. I've been coming her for a while. However today's experience was terrible. I need to return and item for a smaller size but I started to look around and found a better option. When I went to pay/return, the associate, without asking, reordered a smaller size of the dress I no longer wanted. She didn't even ask me she just didn't it. Frustrated with her customer service I waited to have the issue resolved and nothing. At that point I told Id cancel it on my own. Now I have to wait 3-5 days to using the gift she put the return on to make a purchase and this dress was for my trip to Hawaii next week. I am upset that she didn't ask what I wanted to do ... yet nor did she apologize for messing up. read more

I went shopping with my daughter at the Del Amo store. I finally found a blouse that was not to big, I saw no flaws. The sensor was taken off and it left a hole and snagged the material. I love torrid and this store had a lot of sizes and a lot of inventory which is why I'm giving my visit 3 stars. I would love to give a 5 but the customer service here REALLY sucks. No one asked if I needed assistance, the girls on the floor were not the friendliest either. No one asked it we needed a fitting room and when I checked out they tried to tell me I couldn't use the mail in coupons if I didnt have them there with me. First of all that's not true All other locations always have an extra ones on hand which this place did as well and they usually let me use it . She did eventually let me use it ,when I told her I would be calling corporate and asking for policy on it. Not a single person there smiles or seems friendly, makes me wonder if they aren't happy employees. I'll continue going to my local Downey or Montebello locations as they ALWAYS have EXCELLENT service . read more

I've never hated a Torrid as much as I hate this one! I went in for a return without a receipt but I know they can look me up because I have their rewards program and they said they could only do store credit I'm like fine my fault I didn't have a receipt even tho they have looked me up before! She grabs the shirt that has a body suit attachment and said this is final sale it's lingerie! I'm like how is this lingerie it's a pink wavy shirt that doesn't fit me and I could never wear! Oh the bottom piece makes it lingerie! What the heck it's a pink shirt and I wasn't told it was final price I would have tried it on before purchasing! *NEW & AWESOME* I'm faithful to the South Bay Galleria location because I love the employees...but the store is a bit small and dated. The Del Amo location is AMAZING! I've been to this store a couple times Since I work inside the mall. I have never gotten bad customer service til today. I walk in and not one employee turned around to greet me. I was walking around the store looking at a couple of tops and jeans, I was going to buy a couple of outfits. I went to look at the clearance section and an employee came right next to me didn't even say can I help u with anything, or hi are u finding everything ok. Nothing she was looking for some pants for a customer that she was helping. She leaves and comes back, she starts looking for some pants in the same section I was looking. Now the racks are so full with clothes that its impossible for two people to look at clothing at the same time. You'd have to push it. Well this chick didn't even say excuse me first of all and pushes the clothes towards me so it was impossible for me to keep looking through the clothes on the rack. This was an employee. I was already ticked off because this was the second time she does this. I walk away and start looking at the regular priced items, again not one employee comes up to me and asks if I need help with anything. I see a customer walk in and she immediately gets greeted by an employee. Now by this point I'm starting to think this is a racial issue. So I walked out. I was going to buy a couple of outfits but I'd rather go to another location or just buy stuff online. I will never go back to this location again. And I will tell everyone not to shop here! read more

Absolutely LOVE the girls that work in this Torrid store! I went in today with my mom, and Tali was so sweet in making sure we had everything we needed! She was constantly checking on my mom and I and went over the top to make sure we were taken care of! Everything was so pleasant from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out. Also Sally has been one of the kindest girls I've met for the past few years I've been going!
