Now, thanks to Holly and Katy, I have far less stuff burdening my life. As a scholar, I was very attached to my books, but even I could see that it was time to part with most of them. What helped enormously was knowing that they would be in good hands. Many would be part of the sale to help the Seattle library, and others would be given to a second-hand bookstore. Holly, understanding my love for my books, had assured that there would be readers who would also value my books. After getting my clothes in an order that even I could understand, Holly helped me identify the clothes that I could do without. Katy did the heavy-duty work, including taking all the heavy boxes filled with books to the car. Holly and Katy saved me the cost of a mover by somehow getting everything into their cars. Katy took on the task of clearing out the supply closet, which had become a haphazard collection of things I could not find another place for. We are new homeowners who have accumulated a lot of stuff from multiple moves, hobbies, family members downsizing and passing things off, a wedding, an addiction to the container store (think lots of boxes that don't have a place or a designated purpose), and dogs. When coupled with time-consuming careers and a quirky 1920s house,things were a hot mess until Bee Organized came in. Suzanne, the owner, responded promptly to my inquiry and came out within a few days to do a consultation and a walk-through. I was feeling pretty self-conscious about the state of things with my house but Suzanne put me quickly at ease. She was warm, friendly, non-judge mental and a consummate professional. Suzanne explained the process, shared her recommendations around services. Rates were very reasonable. I particularly appreciated how she noted how they try to incorporate existing storage and organizing items before turning to purchasing new items, which can add to the overall cost. Suzanne gave me some voluntary homework before my scheduled organization day. So prior to my organizing appointments, I spent some time going through my closets and set aside items to be recycled, donated, etc. I strongly encourage people to do this prior to a visit. By doing so, I was able to maximize the time I had with Liz and Alexandra (my organizing *bees*) in setting up functional and organized closets. They were also able to walk me through what items could be donated vs. recycled, which was previously overwhelming to me. Like, how do you recycle textiles? What can be recycled or donated or just thrown away? One visit to a donation/recycling center is included. Liz was able to load up her car and take a load to Goodwill--this was a BIG help to me. This was the first day--getting things organized and cleared out. The second day was building organizational systems and putting the items away. I so appreciate the precision, creativity and thought that went into making our closets functional. Liz and Alexandra ended up installing additional shelves and getting selecting containers by closet and shelf dimension. I would not have had the foresight and capacity to do this on my own. Their work really laid the foundation for me to continue to build a more functional and organized home. Beyond that, Liz and Alexandra were lovely and easy to collaborate with. They had great ideas and suggestions. The service really did pay for itself and a huge relief to have done going into the new school year. I definitely plan to use this service again in the future and encourage people to consider Bee Organized.

I am floored about how fanatically cleaned my place is now. They charged me a very reasonable rate for 2x cleaners on an hourly basis. Two very hard working women showed up and cleaned relentlessly, every surface in my house sparkles. I have a collection of rather fragile and expensive books, having called that out they were most respectful and gentle with my favorite possessions. I was already sold halfway through on going with them for regular cleaning, and they just kept going. I keep my place neat, but am very good at not seeing dirt on things like walls / cabinets etc.. and genuinely I didn't notice how dirty my place was... until they came! I have gone on cleaning frenzies in the past, but I have never in my life existed in such a clean space. I am thrilled with how my space is now, the difference is night and day. I have to use them for regular cleaning if for no other reason than I had no idea it was possible to have my house so clean! Seriously... check these people out. They kick ass! In the end, Andy's was able to provide a 15% better price for the exact same product, pad, and installation options. Installation took two days, the installers were wonderful people. Family and I couldn't be happier. I'll certainly recommend Andy's to my friends.

We went to Andy's 5 Star Flooring in Bothell due to a recommendation from a friend after a failed…read moreattempt for a quote with one of the big box stores. Our job was replacing flooring on the top floor of a split level that included removing tile in the entry and kitchen. We knew our flooring under the carpet was subpar from the carpet install 24 years prior and we expressed this to the salesman from Andy's several times. He assured us they could fix it. The measure, product choices and quote all went smoothly and we had an install date set for 1 month out in October. We started moving furniture downstairs in preparation. The day before the product delivery the sales rep from Andy's told us that it had not arrived. We were given a new install date in November but when the date arrived, same story. Now our install date was early December. The Sales Rep from Andy's apologized and added free furniture move due to the delays so we left our 4 pieces of leather furniture upstairs. Again, no product and install was set for Monday after Christmas. The initial install attempts had been scheduled for a 4 day install but this one was only for 3 and during a holiday week. On day of install, crew didn't show up until after 10am and left about 5pm. The install crew was short one person and had forgotten the tool to remove tile. Someone delivered it several hours later. Removing the tile created tons of dust. None of our furniture, countertops or appliances were covered. The installer complained constantly about our floor level and that he didn't have enough time to do a good job although the crew were very seldom here for a full 8 hours. The 3rd day they left at 4pm as it was New Year's Eve. They had to come back New Year's Day to complete the install. Bottom line we are happy with the final product result. We don't know if the problems of material delivery were in fact the product company or Andy's incompetence. We will place the problems with install on Andy's as they did not give the installers adequate time to do a good job. Especially during a holiday week. We were left with a HUGE mess to clean up with tile dust thick on our furniture, walls, appliances, kitchen, etc. Our free furniture moving for compensation was not performed. We also had to have the installer come back later to clean up glue that was smeared on the new flooring. Although the Andy's rep was communicative and easy to reach, I would not recommend Andy's.

Not only did they install a beautiful custom made railing on my interior stairs and the bridge that connects both sides of my upstairs, they also coordinated with their subcontractor, Prymych Home Services, to replace my carpeting with LVP flooring. City Bee ran both the railing and flooring projects so I had one quote, one contract and one project manager. Their price was very competitive, they did high quality work, and they finished in a timely manner. Oleksandr, the owner, project managed everything and made himself available all throughout the project. He was very responsive to all my questions and provided thorough answers so I could understand the technical aspects of the work. And when I wanted a couple of small changes they were accommodated cheerfully without impacting the project timeline. I highly recommend City Bee and wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

Update 8-23-24: Everything has been taking care of and they went above and beyond what was asked of them!!!! Thank you!! Update 8-20-24: Owner called and stopped by this evening and said it will be taken care of!! The in home design consultation and sales person was good and thorough. My wife and I felt comfortable with them and decided to proceed since they were associated with Costco. We asked very pointed questions via text, in person and via email. One question, via text, of importance was whether or not soft close slides are used on the sliding shelves were used. We wanted soft close since the shelves are against the same wall as our heads when in bead and nobody wants a sliding shelve hitting the wall while they are sleeping when your SO is trying to sleep. They assured us that soft close was available on the sliding shelves. After we paid the full amount on June 26th we received an email on July 5th saying we had a check measure on July 12th and an install date of August 8th. They showed up on time and were in and out without any questions for the check measuring. August 8th came and the installers showed up on time and were very nice. When they had completed two things were amiss 1) no soft close on the sliding shelves as promised and 2) the enclosure to cover our radiant floor heating manifold and controller. I asked the installers about both items and they said they have never done soft close on sliding shelves and knew nothing about the heating enclose. I showed them the paperwork where we paid for the extra enclosure and the text stating that soft close was included as part of the sliding shelf components and assembly. The installers said they would make note of it and take it back to the office to get it straightened out. On august 9th I followed up with a text to see what the plan was and they said they were looking into. August 14th I followed up again since I had not heard anything and I received no response. August 19th I called the main office in Bothell and after three attempts finally talked to a person and they could only say that someone will call me back. So after 10 days from the install we still can't use our closet system or move into our room since it is unfinished. The county has even signed off for the final building so we can move in. I have tried to give them some time to get it straightened out but not to hear anything is very frustrating. read more

They specialize in tailoring spaces to exactly how you live, dealing with everything from bedrooms to pantries. I am very pleased with the outcome of my projects! They did an amazing job on three different spaces for me: my master closet, a guest room closet, and my kitchen pantry. I was actually so happy with how the first set of closets turned out that I ended up using them a second time. The team was incredible from start to finish. Jennifer was my consultant and she did a terrific job walking me through the entire design process and working closely with me every step of the way. We have a very small dining room and wanted to add discreet shelving space. We decided to cover our old tree mural with cabinets from Closet Factory. From beginning to end, these guys nailed it! From the initial consultation with John to the install and cleanup with Francisco and Brandon, our experience was excellent. Everyone was friendly and professional. The end-product exceeded our expectations and came in well under our planned budget. We recently bought our first house and the only part we weren't satisfied with was the cheap and inefficient ClosetMaid wire rack systems in our closet. Our space wouldn't have worked for a stock IKEA system as there was a pillar and a wiring cabinet for internet in the closet, but even if those concerns weren't present we would still have elected to go with Eric. Our biggest challenge was my wife and my disparate heights. I'm over 6'3" and my clothes are just as long. My wife is 5'4" and hers aren't. We didn't even realize you could customize a closet to accommodate clothes of wildly different length but Eric measured what we already had and did just that. This isn't a possibility with big box solutions, I'm thrilled that my shirts and jackets have enough space to hang without bunching up at the bottom. Eric was punctual and professional at our first meeting, spent a lot of time gathering measurements and soliciting our wants before making some preliminary drawings and showing us his wide selection of materials and finishes. We were thrilled with our first sketch and things only got better when we received our detailed closet plans. Eric worked hard to make sure he could find the finish and drawer style of our dreams, working with multiple vendors to get us that material we needed. His install took about a day and he was clean and quiet--my wife and I were able to work from home while he did his work without issue. We went from not enough storage space to more than we know what to do with. Eric's pricing is fair and comparable to big box do-it-yourself solutions. You will get a custom closet without compromise to fit your budget and will end up with a nicer and more space efficient solution than if you looked elsewhere. Eric even replaced the utilitarian cable closet cover with a bespoke wooden cover that matched the closet material and finish. We shopped around quite a bit for a closet, save yourself some time and just start with Eric.

He spent his time helping us find the right hardwood color, brought multiple full-size samples to our house so we could compare everything in our own space, and offered very competitive pricing. His team is also incredibly skilled, they handled some challenging parts of our project, including matching the height of the new hardwood with the existing bathroom tile, and the final result looks seamless. When I sought estimates for this carpet replacement project on Yelp, Hardwood Plus was the first and fastest reply. Erik showed up on time and quickly gathered the information he needed while explaining some of the things that could go wrong, like leveling issues or finding something unexpected beneath the old carpet. He promptly provided a quote, and kept in touch via text message (a huge perk for phone call-averse people like me). When we visited the showroom to pick out the carpet and sheet vinyl pattern, it came as a relief that Erik was not interested in upselling - he'd present options, explain the pros and cons of each, and trusted us to make our own decisions. The first issue occurred on the installation day, when Erik messaged me to say the carpet had not arrived yet. He was apologetic and explained what had happened, but we would still have to wait another week for it to arrive. The second issue occurred after his team removed my old carpet: they found the tiles underneath contained asbestos and needed to be sealed, for an additional cost. This added another day to the sheet vinyl install, but this was a possibility he had mentioned early on. The team also accidentally broke my dryer vent, but Erik agreed to fix it with absolutely no fuss. Finally, there were a few little bubbles in the sheet vinyl I had to push out. But now that it's all done, I am absolutely over the moon with how great my new floor looks, and how delightfully plush the new carpet on the stairs and guest room is! I spoke to a rep who was extremely friendly and scheduled an appointment with Design Lead Stephanie. She came out and was very thorough in her measurements and making sure that she understood what I wanted. When she told me the final price, I was shocked because I expected it to be a lot more. And believe me it was well worth the price. My install was scheduled for December 15th from 8-10. The Installers (Victor and Daniel) arrived at 815 and went right to work. They were friendly, respectful of my home and very knowledgeable. They worked quickly and by 2:30 they had finished my two bedroom closets, my guest room closet, my entry way closet and my laundry room. The change in my home is absolutely incredible. PReviously my condo was extremely lacking in closet space, even though the closets were large. It wasn't well designed at all. Two of the closets I couldn't even use until yesterday due to no means of hanging clothing items. My large bedroom closet had two accordion doors; onie of which was taken off about six months ago because it was being repaired. At the suggestion f my friend, I had the installer remove the remaining door. I cannot believe how open my bedroom is! I'm considering removing the accordion doors on my other bedroom closet and my guest room closet to really open up the space. Normally I would find that idea crazy, but these closets are so beautiful that it's almost like having built in shelves. I also have four drawers in my large bedroom closet, which means more places to put my socks and my pajamas. And I love finally having a shelf on which to put my towels (since the bathroom wasn't built with any sort of shelving. I've lived in my home for three years and eleven 1/2 months and this project had been on my wish list since I moved in. I don't even want to think about how much money I spent on storage solutions (bins, baskets, carts, over-the door hooks, etc) in all that time.
