11/20/25 @ noon: 4 adults, no wait, not busy at all. Many memories just walking into this restaurant (snowmobiling days of past). Not much has changed, but it is very homey & a very nostalgic place. Two of us had the Honey Fried Chicken, that came with a potato of choice (baked potato, fries, mashed, etc.) & a salad (or Coleslaw-vinegar based or cottage cheese); one had the Hot Crab Sandwich that came with fries & salad; and the 4th person had the Liver & Onions which came with a potato & a salad. 3 of us also got dessert: 1 the Carrot cake & 2 of the Banana Bourbon Bread Pudding (served warm with whip cream). I was surprised and delighted by this cozy resturant and bar off the M-37. From the moment you step in the door there is a feeling of comfort and nostalgia. Every element from the food to the interior have a wonderful familiarity. I loved it all, the wood paneling, rustic beer mirrors and stained glass signs. At the moment they're operating under COVID restrictions so the tables are without a table cloth but hopefully they will return soon. I dinned on a Saturday night and the room was pretty busy. However there was not a long wait time for food and the server was very attentive. Speaking of food I have some recommendations. The Liver and Cheese basket which comes with pub cheese, chicken liver pate and some pieces of bread was the standout dish of the night. I wish the bread had been more toasted/dry/crunchy because it came out buttered and a bit limp. The next time I come I will request it toasted sans butter and would suggest you do the same. The prime rib was magnificent and I would compare it to those served in a steak house. Medium rare with a choice of potato and a side salad. I should give you a warning ... the portions are rather large so come hungry or plan to take home left overs. My eyes were bigger than my stomach so I walked out with an entire ruben sandwich, which was spectacular the next day. We were greeted immediately when we walked in on a busy Saturday afternoon and invited to chose a table. Drinks came almost instantly while we were still looking over the menu. Adjust your expectations...this place is way over rated! Food, Service and prices were all disappointing. I ordered a ribeye steak, 1 bottle of Labatt beer and 6 chicken wings = $47 without tip! The steak was barely edible. Gray in color, 1/4" thick, grisly and way over cooked. I would guess 6-8oz including the inedible parts. Pretty sure it was broiled. Wings were grayish as well and were oddly tiny. Never seen wings that small before. It had me concerned...lol however I did like their Buffalo sauce Waitress wanted nothing to do with me. No smile no checking on me...it was "HERE" dropped order and she was gone. I over compensated with thank you's and smiles but had no effect. I drove out of my way based on Yelp reviews. Big mistake. I give 5 stars for the bread pudding. The best ever! But minus 3 stars because the Rueben sandwich was inedible. It looked delicious, unfortunately the corned beef had so much wrong with it it couldn't be chewed with a full set of teeth. They did offer to remake it and spouse said no thanks. He said he'd pay half the bill, but the server, excellent, removed the entire charge. Cheesecake was also very good. Ok, I added in a star for that. So overall 3 stars. read more

I wasn't too impressed but my dad and uncle enjoy it here - dining areas are little limited out here; so you take what you get if you're looking for a change. You actually get a decent amount of food; I ordered shrimp dinner, my dad/uncle both ordered the seafood platter - will all the dinners they come with a side of salad or soup and basket of bread (really buttery). The waitress was very helpful and attentive - i only have one suggestion which would be remove some of the tables to make more room or expand the building. I might try again to see more option of healthier foods but honestly i don't believe i saw any or it very limited as well since the menu isn't bad. Happy Eating! read more

I've eaten here a few years ago and can't believe that I haven't yet reviewed it. Club 37 is near where I and my family like to camp, usually once per year while kayaking the Pine River. We went here for lunch once and I had a burger and fries, which were very good, not in my top five, but still well worth the money and tasted great. My real surprise is when we stopped here for dinner and I ordered the walleye. For walleye, the price was fine, but the size was huge and the taste, though deep-fried, was really great. I should be stopping by here in August of this year and once again, I will order the walleye, (this would be the 3rd time), and then update this review, but I am surely looking forward to it. 5-stars. read more

While trail riding we stopped for lunch. My husband had the special for Sunday's which is currently spaghetti, bread, salad and a small dessert. It was good. I had the French dip and fries. The bread the sandwich was on was a bleach white color. While it's not what I'm used to and it surprised me the sandwich was great. The atmosphere is like a comfortable hometown bar. Our final night of camping and my friends and I decided to eat dinner at one of their favorites. The place is busy with a good lookin waitress who definitely earned her money this night. We had 8 in our party alone! So I check out the menu and it's decent. I order perch. Was leaning toward walleye but my buds did. Anyway my perch came out hot and crisp. The food is usuallly good as is the service but at this time of a pandemic going on we left. None of the servers or those we saw coming from the kitchen had masks on. There was a note on the door to ask your server to put on a mask if we would feel better. The dinner didn't automatically come with Lemon Wedges. Upon leaving, I regretted not seeing that they were offering "Blackened Prime Rib with Bacon Wrapped Spicy Scallops. Have dined at Club 37 numerous times over the past three years. Staff is consistently friendly, restaurant is always clean. Their prime rib is a standout, tender and cooked as requested. I'm not often a fan of fried cod, but at Club 37 it's fried to perfection, never greasy. Loved that they upgraded their beer selection in the past few years to include some from Michigan breweries such as Bells and Founders. As someone who grew up in this area, Club 37 was always a family treat. Great service, and EXCELLENT food. And, they truly are the "Prime Rib Experts of the North." Whether you get Prime Rib, or get Prime Rib Alaska where it is covered in Crab and homemade Hollandaise Sauce, or thinly sliced on their French Dips, it's amazing. And, as other reviewers have noted, their Garlic Bread and Liver Pate is something that is a treat. Came up to visit friends at their cabin,said they wanted to take us out for dinner. Took us their for perch dinner regular meal had 5 pieces of the largest perch fillets I have ever seen.
