I attend water aerobics five days a week, though no single location offers it every day. What makes this location stand out is the steam room, it's the only location I've visited that has one. It's consistently clean, hot, and a perfect way to relax after water aerobics class. Even though the water fitness schedule here isn't daily, the quality of the steam room keeps me coming back and the days they offer it- Wednesday and Friday. The parking is almost always nearly full due to the location, but you can find it near by.

I came in for other scheduled sessions and was literally texted 10 minutes after arriving that the trainer couldn't make it. Total waste of time. I emailed them twice to cancel and got ignored both times. No help, no communication, just silence. So I had to file a chargeback because I was paying for services I never got. Now they've had the nerve to send my account to collections instead of owning the fact that they completely dropped the ball. Horrible customer service, unorganized, and shady. Don't go here.

I believe some of the smell is due to lockers that do not appear to have been opened in months based on the dust on some of the locks. (See picture. In the past, I was told if members pay their monthly locker charge, there is nothing they can do to alleviate any odors coming from a locker.) The men's steam room had been closed for almost two years as they are "renovating" it. Earlier this year, a sign was posted stating a new boiler was needed and they were requesting donations. (Dues just went up $4/month.) In addition, there are no staff members walking around the Strength Circuit equipment area in the evenings and some members stay at one machine for 10 minutes or longer. They even scroll on their phones even though signs are posted to be "courteous" of others who may want to use the machine. (See picture.) These signs were smaller and posted on each machine, but they seemed to have "disappeared". I have had to repeatedly ask if I could "work in" as some members think they own the machine. Not sure why members have to constantly ask to "work in". Shouldn't the offending members have some responsibilities to follow the rules?!! This past week, I had enough. I addressed one member who constantly uses one machine and scrolls on his phone consistently. I asked if I could work in. He said he had one more rep and didn't realize I wanted in. (This is not the first time he's told me this.) I told him he had been on the machine over 10 minutes and saw me walk by numerous times. Also, I stated scrolling on the phone is not allowed given the signs in this area. I just walked away. Another member (who is a long-time member like me) was at the machine next to him, heard what I said and thanked me. She said he is one of the worst offenders, but there are others just like him. She noted the courtesy rule is 3 reps and move on, plus no scrolling on the phone. She added respect seems to be missing from this gym. Amen! Obviously, management needs to do a better job of handling this situation as a few small signs are not deterring the problem.

Do i actually have to pick a star or can i not and still do a review. cuz they dont deserve even a quarter star. But, Since I Must... here goes; The guy who checked us in - RUDE beligerant. 80's metal head. REALLY needs to be gone like that era! Customer service skills= NONE! Not to mention we came in from the hot tub and the guy was exiting our room!! Obviously he was goin through our bags as things were NOT how i left them. WHEN ASKED WHY HE WAS IN OUR ROOM he gave some BS that he was checking to see if it was ready as their was a waitlist of people wanting rooms AND HE DIDNT KNOW IT WAS OCCUPIED. ...What a fatass liar! The hot tub had dark MOLD around the whole edge and it smelt like wet grass and piss with scum (brown bubbbles) floating on top. So we tried the pool some old fat man was just lounging on a float as he peed in the water. To top that off he let out a few very loud and long flatulants. Dude was NASTY. Just like the bathroom. Pee on the toilet in one stall, shit in another, and unflushed in another! The handicap stall was locked from the inside with nobody in it. The sauna smelt like old body odor and the steam room wasnt working. I was told it worked but they were to cheap to turn it on and let the members and guests use it. Evidentally ever since it was shut down for the pandemic they have been telling everyone it was broke. This whole place will be broke soon and doors closed soon im sure! Someone lost their mud in the man cave, we reported it and it still tok them 45 min to clean it. I could smell shit the rest of my time there. Mental - lord i hope so but probably not. Employees were getting head, giving head and smoking weed and what looked to be crack behid the man cave. I finally couldnt handle anymore, so i went and asked for the manager because i wanted a refund. At first the 'big' floor dragging bearded guy tried to say he was the manager... GIVE ME A BREAK THERES NO WAY IN HELL HE COULD ME MAKE ME BELIEVE ANYONE WOULD HAVE HIM IN MANAGEMENT. I wouldnt allow him in as a customer, let alone be a manager. Eventually after some arguing the short troll looking dude that followed me around all night, rubbing his crotch, went and got the "manager" ..DAN! OMG I THOUGHT I WAS IN THE TWILIGHT ZONE! What can i say. He was very appropriate for the place. A genuinly rude and pathetic excuse for a manager. The owners need to check on their business and should ashamed! Orlando should be ashamed. Long story short... be kind and dont let ANYONE ELSE waste a single cent on this place. Maybe the gay community needs to file a class action suit for making their community look like that and for pumping all their hard earned money into a business that doesnt give a shit about its members, guests and comnunity. Nothing but 60 plus old and out of shape men go here. The same men day after day. The Manager is a OLD man about 80 named Chip and walks around and creeps people out. The Assistant Manager is unfriendly and scary little OLD queen who is 60 plus and has no people skills. The new lockers are still unfinished with pieces and sides missing and just sitting on top of the lockers. The Sunday Buffets every week with the same tired nasty food served by another OLD queen around 60 plus. This queen is really a mess with her pushy methods of trying to sell you everything in the building to make her commission. The crowd on Sundays is at least 70 plus and all here to eat the FREE FOOD. The place is clean that is only plus. Although the porn is outdated and the building needs a major face lift paints and fixtures and even the towels look dingy and dirty. Blood stains on the sheets and pillow cases and. I would tell anyone to STAY away. Unless you like out of shape old old men and old fixtures and porn in the building then DO NOT GO HERE. The first time we came here the environment was welcoming and still is. Staff were friendly, attentive, and keepers, Steven, Eric, Quinton, Vance and the other tall guy were really amazing and their being people person are great character traits they have for this establishment. The place, is safe for everyone to socialize and build camaraderie. It is also the most organize, and clean. The place always has something broke from the Dry Sauna to the Steam room. THey can never keep the place up and running in a proper way. The owners are white old men who are racist. The new manager CHIP is beyond to old to be running the place. Oh did I say Chip loves to put cheap tape on beds to fix them and cheap space heaters in the steamroom when broke. I've been going to the club for about a half a year now and just renewed my membership for the first time. The staff is outstanding, the facilities are clean, the clientele is young and hot; I'm having a blast. I met my boyfriend there and now we go together every weekend. Reading some of the reviews, I just can't believe the bad ones to be true. I'm sure a lot of them are probably bitter ugly guys that don't get laid or rude boys that can't behave in public. read more

You have a spa, the gym itself, Pickleball court indoors and outdoors, tennis court, two pool areas, one which is more for adults, area for classes, massage, chairs, and Hydro chairs, personal trainers, work area, downstairs café area. Honestly, has everything you need. I can see easily how people spend the whole day here. Definitely a huge networking opportunity. Very bougie but I like it. I don't know if I can justify the price of close to $800 for our family. It's definitely more expensive than in some other of the lifetime clubs that I've seen. Wondering if it's just because it's really in the Winter Park area. The cons besides a little bit of an elevated price are if you have children, there are stagger times for pick up for those that are considered babies. You would have to pick them up by 12 versus the older kids and toddlers which can get picked up at 1 PM. This kind of presents a problem for parents that are looking to have kids babysat at the same time. Because you're forced to pick up one versus the other. Maybe something they'll change that in the future. It's definitely a suggestion brought up to Management more than once. They also won't change diapers which in my personal opinion I prefer I'd rather not have someone do that but I know that that's actually a big drawback for some. Really nice Wellness Center. They have a large open gym, Pilates, hot room, yoga studio rooms, they also have an incredible locker room with dry sauna, steam room, cold plunge and hot tub! We took advantage of all the amenities and it was so relaxing! Afterwards we laid out by the pool for the rest of the afternoon. It was not crowded at all and there were plenty of spots available. Quiet and calm environment which we appreciated. Looking forward to going back soon!

There was also a lounge area stocked with water and light snacks, which made it easy to relax before and after services. I booked a 50-minute relaxation massage with Shelly, and she was amazing. She made me feel completely comfortable from the start, and the experience felt very personalized. Before beginning, they have you smell two different aromatherapy oils to see what your body needs, which was such a thoughtful touch. The massage itself was incredible, I would absolutely book with her again. Afterward, we spent time enjoying the rest of the amenities, especially the pool. The pool area is beautiful, with plenty of chairs and umbrellas. The staff really goes above and beyond, they set you up with a covered chair and even drape a towel to create a pillow for you. I signed up for a full body workout class (HIIT) and arrived 20 minutes early so took advantage of a tour offered by the attendant at the front desk. She was a charming tour guide and made sure I got to see the full gym, which includes a classroom for group exercises, a pilates/yoga studio, two weight rooms, a half court basketball court (soon to be full court!) and more! Coach Zain taught my class - the first gym class I have ever taken. There were about 12 of us in the room, ranging in age from mid-20's to early 70's. The classes are marketed as suitable for all fitness levels and I quickly found that to be the case. I really felt that I was in a judgement-free zone and felt no embarrassment at any time. Coach Zain led us through 6 different stations with 2 or 3 of us at each station at a time. He had tremendous awareness of what everyone was doing, kept us focused on technique and pace, and was quick to offer advice to any of us who needed it. I learned a lot from him! I've already signed up for a class next Saturday. I hope that Xymogym will be my go to start to Saturdays for a long time to come!

The recovery area is a nice touch with compression, stretching and massage chairs. The view out both the front and back is gnarly - back side is a messy roof top of another business and the front side is an empty lot and construction -- so the resort-like feel ends there. The Cafe is wonderful with a nice menu. Compared to Genesis Sportsplex, it's nice, but Genesis is a real sports complex with tennis, basketball, a large turf area for classes and individual conditioning which allows for sprints, running, sled pushing and agility exercises in a big space. Genesis has a variety and plenty of exercise equipment. Genesis does not feel like a resort as does LifeTime, however, it is a spacious and beautiful facility with updated locker rooms, an indoor pool, childcare, a cafe, as well as a variety of classes (yoga, pilates, spinning, Zumba, core strength, etc.) The membership pricing is reasonable at Genesis. LifeTime's $370 for an individual member plus another $300 for sign up and then an added 1% fee for Ravaudage development (which was a surprise attack from LifeTime as it seems they would have known this well before their grand opening. Instead, they sent a letter after the fact informing members of this added fee.) If this fee is for Ravaudage, why is it being applied to all memberships, why wouldn't Ravaudage charge LifeTime a fixed "development" fee? They've created a revenue stream out of our membership. Do all of the businesses in the development charge an added fee? Is this a bottomless pit of fees? If you're looking for a Four Seasons experience and willing to pay for the added amenities -- including two pools ... one is a resort beach-like pool with a large kiddie slide and lifeguards, then GO FOR IT!

Aside from a YMCA I've not seen another fitness facility, let alone a luxury one, this spacious. It's got plenty of equipment for both cardio and weights & at this time it's not over crowded, I see the staff giving tours daily and hopefully they won't allow it to be over what a luxury capacity should be like, but for now I have never had to wait for a machine at any time. The outdoor space is also huge, out of the locations I've seen so far this one feels the most like a country club. The hours are amazing as well, especially being open so early even on the weekends is a huge plus. The staff is very nice and professional, I haven't encountered anyone remotely rude, even when I had concerns they've seemed eager to help. Anyone that thinks they're rude here please go to a lifetime in south Florida and you'll see a difference. I firmly believe this is the friendliest and most luxurious one in Florida and sets the bar very high for the rest of them, I hope they can continue to keep the bar raised this high. I have not taken any classes or used the kids club so I cannot comment on those at this time. In terms of areas of opportunity for them there are only a few, I haven't seen them organize any mixers for the members yet, probably bc they were waiting for their liquor license... also the steam rooms and saunas are not hot enough, they built them to have glass walls instead of the concrete, which does look aesthetically better but diminishes the function because they don't hold heat in. Also right now it's not a huge issue but there's no covered walk way from the garage to the entrance which is quite a walk, during rainy season it's not going to be fun to get soaked on the way in or to the garage. Overall they get 5 stars, especially after having visited a few of the locations in south Florida, which pale in comparison in terms of atmosphere, space, or staff professionalism, I can confidently say Orlando does it best!! Please never ever let the bar slip, it would be a shame. Keep up the great work!

I've taken both types of classes - reformer and hot mat, and I enjoy them both for different reasons. I am constantly humbled in every class, and leave feeling like I had a great workout. I would not recommend the reformer classes to absolute beginners because the classes are fast paced and the reformer machines have a lot of working parts and can be overwhelming at first. Sometimes the music and the instructor's microphone are too loud but that seems to happen more often in the reformer room than in the hot mat room. The majority of the instructors here are friendly, but I have experienced one or two classes where the instructor wasn't very polite or patient (and seemed to get frustrated when I didn't understand her cues for switching positions on the reformer and raised her voice). I love the music and the lighting and I enjoy the workouts.
