Kenzie was the reason I joined and stayed at Club Pilates. She's fun, genuine, relatable, and very knowledgeable. Her background as a personal trainer showed in the way she led classes. She was always making sure people had proper form and would modify for those who needed it or felt would benefit from it. She is no longer working there. Read the previous reviews- a majority of the five stars were because of Kenzie. The studio itself is a mess. Management is unorganized. Phone calls and emails went unanswered. I saw the manager taking classes while the phone rang nonstop--more than once. The studio often smelled like marijuana when you walked in, which was hard to ignore. I tried other instructors. A couple are good (again not as comparable to Kenzie) but with the constant turnover, lack of communication, and rude behavior from some staff, there's no reason to stay at this location without Kenzie. The front desk originally told me my unlimited membership would work at all Atlanta locations--it doesn't work at Chastain. When I explained this to the new manager and tried to cancel, I was told "the system wouldn't allow it," but after speaking with the owner, they finally agreed not to charge me another month. I appreciated that, but it shouldn't have taken that much effort. Kenzie was worth it. The rest of the experience wasn't. read more

Buyer beware! The GM, Will, talked me into trying a few classes and told me I could cancel before the month without penalty. He was WRONG. They have charged my card multiple times for $80 since I called to cancel before the end of the month. There isn't a corporate phone number either so calling to complain about their dishonesty is futile. I have called the studio multiple times and have left multiple messages with the girls who answer the phone. They always assure me 'Will' will call me back...but he never does. It's sad that people have to be so dishonest. I was not expecting that from this type of business. Shame on them. Update: I received a call from the owner, Mandy. Update** DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION! The ONLY good thing about this location is the instructor Ranna. Darren and Alexis (front desk) are cool too, but that's where it stops. Hence the one star. I would give it zero, but these 3 are the only good thing. I have not had such horrible customer service and been treated so poorly by a GM Will, in longgg time. He has lied, does not return calls, and is flat out rude. Most of the instructors are good for anyone who doesn't have any sort of ailments. They just want clients that fit a typical mold. They will tell you that they will make modifications, but they don't. Even to the point where I said to one of the instructors something was uncomfortable and she just brushed me off. I DO NOT recommend coming here, especially if you have any sort of back issues, with the exception if Ranna is teaching. She TRULY cares and is so knowledgable. I hope she gets her own studio one day. She's too good for this place. Taylor who used to be the GM there was absolutely fabulous, but was ran out and since then this studio has just gone completely down hill. They change the schedule and have all these new instructors come in that every time you turn around, you're having to start from square one, if you ailments. The location came recommended from a friend. I signed up for an introductory class arrived on time and was presented with a woman at the front desk on a phone call where she was complaining about another location's customers and that they took up too much of her time. I waited for eight minutes and then finally interrupted her and asked her if I was going to be helped. She asked me what I was doing there I told her I had arrived for my free class she said well the classes already started I said yes but I've been waiting she said well it's already started. I said so you're telling me I need to come back at another time. She continued to say it's already started. This location is great! Shari is wonderful and flexible and will make sure that you are taken care of when it comes to your schedule and classes. Also the instructors are all amazing and will work with each person individually to understand their personal needs when it comes to the class and what they are looking to get out of it. This place is great!!! It's what I've been looking for. What makes it so great though is Ranna!!! Ranna is the best pilates instructor I have ever had. She is attentive, knowledgeable, funny, and very caring. I struggle with scoliosis and she is so supportive with making each person's experience good for them. She makes sure to make helpful modifications, so as to not get injured. I reccomend Club Pilates for all ages 18 and over. The front staff is also very welcoming and friendly. The facility is clean, bright, and cheery. I do miss Taylor though. Taylor was an amazing instructor as well, but she is no longer working here. read more

Unfortunately after a year of attempting to resolve an issue, I will mirror what others have recently stated. I followed all cancellation protocol, was given a refund receipt via email, yet never received said refund (moved outside of state so cannot go to studio in person to resolve). Mandy has been less than responsive, which is rather disappointing in a business owner. I have been a member at multiple CP locations - I would recommend the concept but not the locations in Decatur area (both owned by Mandy). I searched high and low for traditional reformer pilates in Atlanta without any gimmicks and had given up hope. Then Club Pilates opened in Toco! Classic pilates but with enough variety (some cardio classes) that even with a membership I'm never bored. The instructors and staff are genuinely friendly and knowledgeable. They remember your name and are quick to answer the phone and to generally be amenable in any way they can. If you've never tried pilates this is a great place to get started. They have great leveling from beginner to advanced. read more

I've been taking classes here for a few months and everyone is super nice and always helpful. I've tried most of the instructors and all their classes are different so that keeps it interesting. I usually get bored with doing classes after several months but with the variety of classes and different levels it keeps me engaged. I was a founding member of this club. Due to the pandemic and pre-existing health conditions that make me extremely high risk for Covid, I need to cancel my membership. This business is doing everything possible to try to prevent me from cancelling my membership. First, they insisted that I come in-person to cancel. When I explained why this is not possible for me, the manager emailed me a form to electronically sign and return. The form that was sent to could not be completed electronically. When I informed the manager, they again insisted that I come in-person. I then printed the email with image of the form, signed, scanned and emailed back. Now the manager is refusing the form because I wrote on it. Unfortunately, this is pretty much on par with my experience the entire time I have been a member. The customer service is extremely lacking. The scheduling app is unreliable. It's just generally not a very friendly place. I also think people should know that the instructors here do not have a lot of experience, with the exception being LaKesha. The other instructors rarely give corrections or feedback to the clients, which can lead an ineffective workout and injury. Finally, based on the mediocre cleanliness of the facility and equipment, pre-Covid, I would not trust that adequate safety measures are in place now. The space is very narrow with barely 6 feet distance between stations. It is located in an older shopping center that does not have great ventilation. read more

I love coming here! The instructors and staff are so amazing, the other club members have become new friends, and I feel better than I have in years. I started here in late October just a few months after back surgery & I am SOOO much stronger than when I started. Doing things I honestly thought I'd never be able to do again. Thank you, Club Pilates (Toco Hills). Hours: they are open 7 days a week and have a variety of classes to accommodate most schedules -Early morning for the pre-work crowd or early birds, Lunchtime/Midday classes (my personal favorite), and late afternoon/after work classes for after-school/work or those coming in from a commute. Ability: The classes are set up to accommodate those with a variety of injuries & fitness levels. The instructors are great about asking about injuries/issues at the beginning of every class. Instructors also make themselves available before and after class for questions, concerns, etc. As mentioned above, I started classes after getting cleared to exercise following back surgery a few months before (and was still wearing a removable back brace). The progress I was able to make was absolutely incredible & I went from being in pretty steady pain to feeling strong again faster than I ever dared hope. And I honestly am doing things I never thought I would ever be able to do again. Classes are non-competitive & friendly, but still challenging. Instructors: The instructors are awesome! They have a variety of styles so you can try different ones to see what style you prefer or go everyday and give a different workout each time. The important thing is that they all seem to care about how you are doing & your progress. I know I would not be where I am without them. They try to greet people by name and notice if you have something going on or are out sick a few days. Shout-out especially to my lunchtime teachers Ranna, Lisa, Luke, Lakisha (and Taylor, who isn't teaching anymore but I am so grateful to). Pricing: For "REAL" pilates, the price can't be beat. I've been to other places that do pilates on the reformer and other equipment and others can be prohibitively expensive. Club Pilates has a variety of plans & packages to fit different budgets. Management: Will (manager) is usually on-site and is very receptive to ideas, suggestions, thoughts. He also tries to greet people by name, as do the others at the desk, and gives out his cell so he can be reached by members. Now, that's dedication. Still on the fence? It's been a year or two since I've taken reformer Pilates but I forgot how strong it makes me feel. I have some back issues and this workout keeps my back supported and helps strengthen for sure. No Pain No Gain Club Pilates-Toco Hill has a great group of well trained instructors, my favorite is Luke. He is gentle, empathetic and sensitive to each individual's needs. His voice is so calming and his instructions are clear and concise. I've heard him mention to his students that the journey is better than the result and we should be happy and healthy. I have been attending his class since I moved back to Atlanta (approximately 9 months). My body feels amazing. I can see the muscle definition developing in my abs (I haven't seen that - well never). I have seen tremendous improvement in my posture. I have always dreaded putting my tennis skirt on in the summer and looking at my inner thighs but not anymore (you can hide them in the winter with leggings). My goal is to be healthy and fit. Club Pilates and Luke are assisting me in reaching this goal. Yes initially it may seem painful but a little bit of good pain will bring you amazing results. This place is super terrific. I'm always a huge skeptic when it comes to exercising in groups, but I've never felt more comfortable. Different cultures, different sizes of women, place for men and women alike to strengthen your core and back and the instructors are totally amazing and caring of your body and your form. Doing the exercises correctly. The smaller classes make for the opportunity for one on one help as well, which I needed, because I always felt I was doing things wrong when I go to the gym on my own. If you slide the carriage back it's a world of dirt, hair and probably bacteria. Gross! IDK if it is ever cleaned. The four or five stained water damage ceiling tiles have been there for 4 years... The ambience is weird too ....because the fluorescent lights are unable to be dimmed so you're under this super bright light the whole time you're doing Pilates which seems counter intuitive. On the plus side they do have a couple instructors that are really fantastic. But I don't know if it's the owner or the manager but she needs some serious help in customer service. read more

Do not sign up for a membership here. They make it impossible to cancel it. I reached out to cancel, and they told me I had to give 30 days notice which was never conveyed to me in the beginning. So I signed my cancellation for 30 days from then. They then charged me at the beginning of the month for the entire rest of the month, so that I had to overpay for an entire new month I will not use. After emailing back and forth with an unknown person, I finally heard from Will, who is their GM (but I have never met in person). He was unhelpful and no one seems to be able to help. Left paying for unused months. Definitely wouldn't recommend anyone to sign anything with them. Wish I saw the other comments below saying the same thing before I joined. read more

I was in town for business and needed to keep up my workouts. Decided to get out of the hotel gym and try Pilates for the first time. It was amazing! Lisa was a great instructor and was so patient to help me with form! I took the reformer class and it was the perfect workout to leave me sore the next day and give me a good stretch. The instructors are great and have taught me a lot during my 7 months of membership. Where it turns sour is when you need to cancel your membership. Due to a rotator cuff injury I had to cancel. The General Manager Will refuses to give back the 180.00 for the Month of November, my last class taken was Oct 30. I brought in a doctors note from my Emory Orthopedics and Spine doctor saying I can no longer do pilates. The Club Pilates cancelation rights states you will receive a refund if you have a "permanent disability" meaning condition which completely prevents you from using the facilities. I am unable to put weight on right arm/side, rotation of arm, lift weight or have arm over head among other arm limitations without causing major pain and I have a note from a surgeon to back my injury. William clearly only cares about money and not the welfare of the members. After reading reviews online I discovered I am not the only one with this issue/complaint. BUYER BEWARE. read more

I am in process of cancelling membership. I can only assume that the requirement to physically come and fill out a cancellation form is a unsubtle attempt to dissuade the customer. After emailing back and forth I received a phone call from extremely rude woman telling me that it is a Club Pilates requirement. When I attempted to respond she angrily and aggressively told me she was not going to argue with me and to read the contract. I responded, "you called me". I told her that despite having quarantine for covid exposure I would make my way in because obviously they will continue to charge me. I ended up hanging up because she was getting so aggressive even hostile over the phone. When I asked for corporate contact info she refused to provide it. Of course they are independently owned if you have a problem but under Club Pilates if you want to question a policy. So disappointing and offended. They have already stolen another months fees but why would I feel comfortable in such a hostile atmosphere. read more

I am a 63 year old male, not their typical customer, and I love the place. Been going there a couple of years, and my core strength and overall posture are better than ever. (Even my kids have noticed the difference.) I have recently shifted to their new Cardio-flow classes, which, to me, it the best of all worlds, working the core with classic Pilates moves while using the reformer to jumpstart (figuratively and literally) a great cardio workout. read more

Loved the classes, but very disappointed with the customer service. Got A three month deal and when they started changing instructors and class times, it was no longer working for me. Tried to cancel, told me that I had to give a 30 day notice. I agreed to pay, just as long as I get a gift certificate for the month. I joined club Pilates when it first opened in Toco Hills and would happily recommend this place to a friend. Taylor was really great to work with when getting my membership set up. I usually attend morning classes and Keoma is a breath of fresh air at 6am & 6:30am when I'm on a reformer rather than in bed. Ive taken classes with 5 different instructors here and have enjoyed all of them. The facility is very clean, the app is easy to use and the people are great. read more
