About a year ago, I joined Clue Pilates. After attending a 30 minute intro led by Sunny, I immediately felt a difference in my body and decided to sign up for the Unlimited Membership. Having practiced yoga and ballet for many years, I quickly realized how safe and effective Pilates is as an exercise method. I prefer the Center & Balance and Restore classes, but the Flow classes are a great workout when I need something more challenging. Memberships are a little pricey, and it can be a bit challenging to schedule b/c different membership levels have different priority. But the staff, instructors, and management are great - friendly, encouraging, and helpful! I have the 8-class/ month pass, and it has definitely helped me get more movement in my life! read more

I joined six months ago when I realized the studio was close my residence. It was nice being able to walk to the studio, but they recently moved near the golf course. I thoroughly enjoyed the Pilates classes, and the instructors are very kind helpful and have a great attitude. I recently decided to cancel my membership due to several reasons. Cost - While reformer Pilates is amazing for your core and overall health, I began to cringe each time my monthly dues were withdrawn from my account. In a time with high inflation, I just couldn't justify spending $220 a month. While I had the unlimited membership, the name is misleading. You can book up to 15 classes during a billing period. Also, you're not guaranteed a class due to most classes having a waitlist. For $220 dollars, I should be able to take a class whenever I choose to. Environment/Value - I love the instructors, but outside of them, I didn't feel a connection toward the studio. The staff is polite, but no one went out of their way to have a conversation with me at the studio. They do text you to see how classes are going. I also think the studio should offer refreshments and snacks for customers. It's a small gesture and it shows customer appreciation. Also, make an effort to chat with customers rather than stay behind the desk. If you're looking for a great exercise and have money to spare, then Club Pilates is great. I do suggest finding a cheaper alternative. read more

The front desk was very welcoming and helpful! NahEun was very good at explaining everything during the class, especially since most people in this class were new to pilates! I would get a membership with Club Pilates if it wasn't so expensive - that's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. It's a lot more affordable and reasonable for me to use my class class credits and stop by a few times a month! Definitely worth it if you can afford it I think! read more

I've been coming to Club Pilates for 11 months now. I started with the free intro in January 2022, then signed up for a package of 8 classes per month. After 11 months and ~90 classes, I recently asked my husband for an upgrade to unlimited classes as my Christmas gift! I've tried all or most of the types of classes offered, including a couple of workshops, and I'm still really into it... perhaps even obsessed! (Let's face it, sometimes it's hard to find anything you want to stick with for a year.) Club Pilates is awesome, the staff is friendly and efficient, the location is great for me, the studio is clean, the equipment is in good shape and often replaced or upgraded, and there is covered parking available. They have an app that makes it easy to see your schedule and available classes, where you are on the waitlist, and get reminders for your upcoming classes. There are 10 reformers in the studio, so there are 10 students max in each class, which feels like a manageable size. I'd like to see more class times offered (earlier morning, more weekend classes), and more availability (I'm often on the waitlist) but I think they are continuing to train and hire great teachers to add to the schedule. My favorite thing is the variety of exercises and challenges offered. Most classes follow a similar flow and are full-bodied focused. All of the classes offer progressions to "layer on" to challenge yourself at your own pace. I love that the studio and the teachers are accepting of all body shapes and abilities, I never feel like there is a diet culture/weight loss message, and all of the instruction is to "do what feels right for your body today." I like a good workout - intense enough that I feel like I got something out of it, but not so difficult that I want to quit. Just when I think I've got it all figured out in a slow and controlled flow class, I'll take a cardio class, which is a lot like jumping on a trampoline, and my body is challenged in new and different ways! My favorite teachers are Heidi and Jules. They have different styles but they both inject some humor (and good music!) into their instruction while still watching your form, mixing up their routines, and giving helpful feedback and cues and descriptions. I'm sad when great teachers leave (where did you go Ace? I haven't seen you in forever Sarah!) but anytime I try a class with a new teacher I am excited to learn something different. More than anything, I value an hour of turning off distractions and focusing on challenging myself surrounded by people doing the same in a supportive environment. I often leave class saying, "Now, THIS was my favorite class!" I often end class with a feeling of gratitude, thinking, "Now, THIS was the best hour of my day." I've done about 40 classes with Club Pilates in Kent and absolutely love them! It gives me the opportunity to focus on deep breaths and do challenging poses using the reformer. The environment is clean and everyone is friendly. I would recommend it for all ages. If you have any physical health issues teachers always take it into account as you participate in class. I love club pilates Kent! I've taken about 115 classes so far in the past year with them under my unlimited membership. It is costly, but so effective and worth it. I love the different instructors and classes offered. I love that I can go before work in the morning. The instructors are knowledgeable and kind. The front desk workers are super friendly and helpful. The waitlist moves fast and I've never had any problems getting into a class I wanted. Pilates has helped me feel stronger and more confident. I love Club Pilates! I workout at the Bonney Lake and Lake Tapps locations and am always comfortable with the instructors workouts. I was completely new to using a reformer and they always have patience to be sure everyone is safe as well as giving tips on body mechanics. Found through Facebook special, signed up for a free class, introductory 30 min class. They do have every other machine being used and the class participants clean the equipment! I truly hope that people care as much as I do, I do find I'm still cleaning and everyone else is done! Instructors are great and the manager was very nice. I like the app you can use and they email and text class reminders. Free covered parking. Class cost is fair from what I've researched. I personally feel better physically. read more

I have been attending the Kent Club Pilates studio for a year and I've loved it. The staff is great and I love the variety of classes. I live very close and have a consistent schedule so I have been able to take 12-16 classes a month with the unlimited plan. I typically don't have trouble getting into the classes I want but I do book out as many classes as I can in advance (15 is the max you can book at a time). The studio has kept me consistently exercising and that was my main goal. I have definitely seen improvements in my core strength and posture. The monthly price is high, but the convenience and push for consistency has been worth it for me. read more

I love this studio! I started in December 2022 at the most basic level of exercise and have fallen in love with Pilates. Been going to this location since April 2022. The instructors are great. I have asthma that gets triggered with exercise so lots of the heavy cardio and HIIT type of exercises are difficult for me. Pilates has been perfect for me with getting back into shape. The instructors are very accommodating and give you modifications if you need. If you have any worries, like I do, when it comes to moving up levels or trying other types of classes (other than Flow) they are easy to talk to and give great advice. read more

The aesthetic of the studio was nice and love the mirrors and natural light coming in from the big windows. Prices weren't too bad but didn't have the budget to sign up for a membership sadly. Been taking classes at the Kent location for almost a year now! PROS: - instructors are great - good variety of classes and times - studio is cleanly and equipment is in good shape - online booking app is super easy to use - reasonably priced (on the 8x per month plan) CONS: - due to Covid guests wait outside before entering the class to allow for the previous class to exit, completely makes sense which is why I still would keep the 5 starts, but creates a huge time crunch if like me you come to class straight from work and need to change clothes -- solution would be to allow guests to enter if they're needing to use the facilities read more

I've been going to Club Pilates in Kent WA for about 3 months and love it. There are different levels of fitness and I'm in the beginning Pilates class. I've taken Pilates from other instructors over the years, but it had been a long time since I've come back to it. I like how I can go online and schedule a class and cancel with 12 hours notice w/no charge. I like that each instructor teaches differently and changes it up. I'm not a star pupil, but I am getting more flexible and have lost a few inches and pounds in the process and look forward to going to the class. read more

Booked this through class pass where they didn't tell the app that they moved locations. Drove all the way here to be told they moved and when I called the new location 6 minutes away they said I couldn't attend cuz I'd be "'more than five minutes late." Not only do they need to update their address in ClassPass but they also REALLY need to work on customer service when something is their fault. Horrible business and won't ever be back.
