It was a very comfortable atmosphere and the instructor (wish i could remember her name) made it fun and enjoyable, which is nice for me as a beginner, at times some other studios have an intimidating atmosphere of ultra flexible and experienced Yogi's, and while there were definitely some there, the vibe was still comfortable and inviting. I've done a handful of Yoga classes in my lifetime, though this one was especially gratifying, both me and my girlfriend felt extremely refreshed and as though we really experienced the true benefits of a well instructed yoga class. I believe it was due to the instructor really taking an hands on approach and describing the poses exactly as they should be done descriptively, she really kept the momentum going as well with a variety of different poses. I will be returning!

The space is clean, large and bright. There is plenty of room for classes with lots of people and room to space out when class isn't too crowded. The class was well paced and the instruction was demonstrative and instructional. The demonstrations were great for the optional inversions and more difficult poses. Nancy however has been one of the great blessings that has come from my move. In Nancy I have found a teacher who illuminates the power of yoga to strengthen and stretch both my body and my mind. We chose the Yoga Garden, and we both attended together. I had never taken a yoga class before, but Patty was extremely welcoming and made me feel comfortable. The class was wonderful, I found it very relaxing but perfect for me. Patty was energetic and very deliberate in her movements and I learned a lot. I really enjoyed it and it was a great time to spend with my daughter as well. The room was well equipped, and quiet for the ultimate yoga experience. I would love to take another class there.

My favorite part is the different types of classes you can take, so it's not just original hot yoga but other types as well along with HIIT of course! This makes it fun to switch it up and also take a couple of classes in a row if you wanted, since they schedule different ones back to back. Another hugeeeee plus for me is that they have early morning classes and late at night if you slept through the morning ones like I often do LOL (along with late morning/ mid day, early evening etc). Additionally, the staff is nice & welcoming and I oftentimes see instructors paying extra attention/TLC to newcomers If you're a hot room lover then deff come to Yoga Freak ASAP!!!!

Their late policy is absolute: arrive even one minute past your class time and you will be locked out and charged -- no exceptions, including unforeseen circumstances. They do not answer their phone and do not accept voicemail, so there is no way to reach anyone in real time if something goes wrong. If you have time blindness, executive function challenges, ADHD, Cptsd, or a highly sensitive nervous system, this studio is not designed with you in mind. It is not trauma-informed, and the environment does not accommodate neurodivergence in any meaningful way. For those who need consistency and predictability, it's also worth knowing they have modified the traditional hot yoga sequence -- so what you practice here may not be what you expect. The waitlist system is also poorly communicated; you may not know you've been moved from a class you reserved until it's too late to plan around it. Beyond logistics, the atmosphere feels cold and unwelcoming -- though I'll leave it to others to determine how much of that is the studio versus the region. This studio is BUSINESS FOCUSED rather than CUSTOMER focused, which contributes to the stressed, unfriendly state of the world today. There are wonderful yoga communities out there that lead with warmth and genuine flexibility. This one, in my experience, is not among them.
