Staff is amazing. I walked in to check out pilates after seeing amazing results on a coworker. They were so helpful and honest. The best deal is the unlimited package. After one class I was hooked. I walked in to check out the club and potentially assess classes and was immediately taken aback by how the lady who appeared to be the owner/manager (not sure) was talking down to her employee in such a belittling manner. Super unimpressive which led me to turn around and walk out the door with no plans to ever take any classes at this studio....I value respect!!!! I love the classes. Every instructor has been so kind. They are very patient with me as a beginner. Vanessa, Danika and Robin and wonderful instructors. Every person at the front desk makes me feel very welcome and they answer all my numerous questions with a smile. The other students in every class are pleasant and the entire atmosphere relaxing. Listen I am not a Pilates person at all in fact I tried it in the past and hated it. But Danica and Stephanie have made me like it. I have been going for a few months and don't dread it at all. I have always wanted to be a person who wanted to work out but couldn't find something I liked and I think for the first time I have. They are both really amazing instructors and make the class fun! The classes are limited. Since I was at Level 1, there were a limited number of classes. Additionally since I work, I was not able to attend during the day times. The last time I went to a class, I fell backwards hitting my head. I was trying to put my leg on a "half ball" that was on a platform. I was not hurt, but the instructor just continued teaching the class in spite of others coming to help me up. For those reasons, I have canceled my membership. read more

I have been coming to club Pilates Thousand Oaks for over a year now. There are some amazing teachers. They have all taught me to trust my body and learn when to push and when to rest. Danika and Catherine have been great teachers anytime of the day. They come ready and excited to teach. Their classes are fun, challenging, and always have good music! read more

This location started out great but there has been a lot of change in instructors so classes are inconsistent. The reservation system can be frustrating. Unlimited members book up the most popular classes and often fail to show up. There will be classes with 4-6 people on the waiting list but when you show up there is usually 1-2 open reformers from no shows. It is really frustrating. Unfortunately, I needed to cancel my membership and their system ended my membership a day early and dropped my last scheduled and paid for class. The manager refused to email or call me back re: a class credit or refund for that paid class. Overall a disappointing end to what seemed like a good studio. read more

I love, absolutely love Pilates and seek out classes by Danika and Robin. I am a morning person, but override that just to take Danikas classes. She is an incredible instructor, attentive and mindful of individuals needs and abilities, helping us modify as needed. Her classes are varied and she utilizes the reformer, chair, springboard and more. I only wish she had more classes, especially on Sundays. read more

I joined Club Pilates in November 2022. I decided to go for it and get an unlimited membership. The first month or so I could hardly do anything. I was so weak and out of shape. Now a year and a half later, I'm a Pilates rockstar! I am so much stronger than I used to be and I did not lose any weight, probably because of the beer, ha ha ha, I'm really happy with the strength that I have now. I'm 60 years old. Everybody at the club is great. I've made a lot of really nice friends. my favorite instructors are Danika Robin, and Paula. The other instructors are good as well, I just gravitate toward those ladies because their style fits what I like. The people who run the studio also run the Westlake Village studio, which I have never been to. They are opening up two new studios. One in Newbury Park, and one in Moorpark. The Newbury Park studio will be about a mile from my house. Here's hoping I can figure out a way of transferring my membership without a price increase, fingers crossed. It's expensive but what price will you pay for good health and strength? read more

The reviews on the contractual issues are completely bogus. The staff is entirely up front about the contract, cancellation, etc. I have found the exact same contract at all the CP I have visited when moving. Please be informed: ask questions, read the contract, ask more questions, BEFORE you sign. Clearly those who are lodging complaints are either mistaken or did not read before they signed. read more

What a great addition to Thousand Oaks. The overall vibe is friendly, the manager actually knew my name after I was there once. The classes vary according to instructor - some are "harder" than others which gives everyone a lot of choice. Having an Unlimited Membership is the way to go - you can book your classes in advance and cancel within 12 hours if you can't make it. The whole organization really cares if they are doing a good job or not - from the front desk to the individual owners of the studios. I learned Pilates from Club Pilates in Westlake Village and then transferred to Thousand Oaks when they opened in November of last year. I've made lots of friends and look at it as my happy place. read more

I love this studio . Danika and Catherine r both excellent !. They r caring and really want your experience to be a good one . They r always there to make modifications if u need one . They r seasoned Pilates instructors who really know their clients and encourage u to do your best to get the best results . I always look forward to seeing them .Their music choices r always upbeat fun and bring me back to happy times . I just moved to the area and am enjoying the variety of the classes they offer at this location . There r waitlists but the spaces do open up rather quickly as people cancel . Pilates has changed my life . I am so happy to have found club Pilates . Shout out to Molly. U see her as u enter the studio . She is there in the mornings She is always smiling and happy to see u . People be aware of this place they don't let you cancel your membership. They let you freeze it only for 2 months and you have to pay $15 ! And then after that they charge you the full month . This place is a scam !!! Don't fall into this place ! The manager was helpful when we called and she said that we need to be charge and we can not cancel the membership. So you will be stuck in this place forever ?? All they think is about $$$ not he people that enroll. read more

This studio is a SCAM. Signed up for four sessions a month and could not even get into one class the first month. The owner refused to let me out of my three-month contract even though I sat on multiple wait lists and never got in. She's selling something impossible to get. I work out at orange theory and get in my classes all the time. I've waitlisted at better studios and I get in. She refuses to call and talk to me. DO NOT GO to this particular location. read more

This club Pilates is a scam and has the worst manager ever. She is so unhelpful and when she sells you a membership she says it's so easy to get into classes which is not true. If you don't book a class 3 weeks in advance you won't get in. So for the first month of your membership you won't even be able to attend a class. And if u call to talk to the manager she refuses to talk to you and will ignore your emails if you have a issue. The front desk girls are nice though but the manager won't let them give her the phone. All she does is try and sell you on things and then won't respond if u have a complaint. Do not sign up at this location. She also makes it hard to cancel membership. read more

I joined Club pilates in Thousnd Oaks just about 1 year ago and I am a very happy I decided to give it a try. I never tried pilates before, only Yoga. It has helped me in many ways, I love my instrusctors, Danika, Robin and Vanessa, they are amazing! I hope Danika will be added to Tuesdays morning again, that would be so so nice. DO NOT SUPPORT, BE AWARE and be careful of when you sign up! I signed up around Christmas time. I had an unfortunate accident on Feb the 15th where I ended up with a concussion. At the end of the month I got charged my normal rate of the unlimited plan of ~ $240. My husband let me know of the charge. We called and let them know the situation and they told me I had to send in doctor notes to say why I couldn't cancel or lower my plan. This was only 15 days of the incident. I let them know I had gone to the emergency room, had gone to my primary doctor who gave me a referral to a specialized PT who works with concussions. Was then referred to an ophthalmologist neuro at USC Keck. This took place over a 2 1/2 week period. Club Pilates told me I had to have a doctors note to to get a refund, even when I said I wouldn't be able to do any of the activities. I didn't realize for a retail business I needed a doctors note to get a refund. They saw the doctors note and saw I didn't attend any of their classes. Their response was I turned in the doctors note 4 weeks from the time of the incident 2/15, but I told them I didn't see the specialist til the beginning of March. Long story short, they would not give me my refund because the doctors note did not say my condition was indefinite. I was not 100% well until mid April and still have minor symptoms. Either way when you see someone is not using your business and has made conscious efforts in a somewhat timely manner to let you know the circumstances, provide proof and is still not refunded, they are not a business you would want to support nor give them your money. This specific location and I want to make an emphasis I am not putting all Club Pilates under the same umbrella, but this one specifically, has no business etiquette nor is customer service driven. When you deal with this type of management it is very much a foreign mentality of globalization. read more
