I would NEVER take my dog here again nor would I recommend this place to anyone else. I was in need of a kennel at the last minute and when I called Country Critters, they had availability and good reviews, so I used them. When I picked my dog up the lady asked if I could go get my dog with her because he was too scary for her (hes a 10 month old puppy who loves everyone). When I got to his kennel, it had multiple piles of diarrhea every where in his run and the lady said "oh my he must have just done this because this wasn't here a few minutes ago." I glanced over and saw several other runs with dogs that also had diarrhea every where as well, so it was obvious they don't clean the runs. When we got home my dog had nothing but diarrhea and got me up every hour to take him out. The next morning he had explosive diarrhea and now blood in his stool. This continued through out the day, so I had to take him to the vet to be seen. I CANNOT believe a place like this is still in business. This place is filthy and needs to close its doors. You cant get peoples animals sick and not be held liable. Steer clear from this place, unless you want your dog to become very sick. read more

Definitely would not recommend to anyone ever My dog stayed here few times because it is close by our neighborhood. However every time he stays he get very sick - diarrhea, vomiting, blood in stool and we end up taking him to vet which leaves us with a large medical bill . This was our last time at this dirty unsanitary place. Lesson finally learned. read more

Because of coronavirus my regular groomer was closed, so my vet recommended Country Critters. I am so glad that he did! My shih Tzu needs to be medicated before grooming (bad experience as a puppy) and it wasn't always easy to find a place that would take him. I called country Critters and they were willing to take him, and my shi-poo, no problem. The groomer (I'm sorry that I didn't get her name) did a PHENOMENAL job......so much better than our regular groomer! We were extremely impressed, and beyond grateful that they fit us in so quickly. I couldn't recommend this place enough! And I am going to use them from now on. read more

This place has a lot of awesome reviews, which is why I chose this place to board my 2 dogs.. Unfortunately when we got home, I noticed they had sores on their noses, and were vomiting and had diarrhea.. I was hesitant when I dropped my doggies off, and I should've listened to my gut feeling and never left them there. They gave me a tour, and this place looks "dirty" I feel so bad for leaving my babies at this place for 3 days.. If my dogs were having diarrhea they should've had the decency to give me a call and I would've had them taken to the vet. But now I have to take my dogs out every 5 mins to relieve themselves. I called and told the staff my dogs were having diarrhea, the staff member pretty much just brushed it off like no big deal. They said they would have the owner call me.. I had my dog stay here while I went out of town and they did a fabulous job with him. He's a rescue so he's hesitant of new places and people. When we picked him up he was clean and super happy. I just recently boarded my 20 week old puppy here and was so pleased. He is definitely more like the baby of the family and is typically *very* shy but immediately when we walked in he took a liking to the owner and we were greeted by a very friendly staff. I called to check on him everyday (which i'm sure was incredibly annoying!) but I was always greeted cheerfully and encouraged to call and check when I was worrying. Whenever I spoke to the owner it was clear that she cared for my puppy, as she could always give me a run-down of his last 24 hours. I love this place! I regularly take my two dogs; Nala and Dutch. They are very accommodating to the pair and make sure they do everything together while they are in their care. The owners are very responsive and incredibly nice to the pets. My dogs always come home happy and healthy! They are also priced very fair as well compared to the other places around here. read more

I had my dogs boarded, schooled, groomed here last year. It's a great place for all dog services. If you need something, it's better to ask the owner than the staffs who mainly follow rules to the stick. The owner would find ways to accommodate your situation. read more

I use critters for all my services for my kitties! They have a big bright cat room with huge cats trees and tons of toys and treats to spoil my baby. He doesn't eat much when he's away from home so I take comfort in knowing they actually take him out and love him (and spoil him with wet food so he eats!) They have a house cat who plays well with my kitty. The owner is very involved with the practice and they really truly care about your pets here. Been to other kennels in the area and wouldn't trust to go back. Country critter is the only place I trust! read more

We take our 3 dogs here and never had any issues. It's the only kennel we've been to where our dogs act happy when we pick them up. They've always seemed depressed after spending time at other kennels. Their prices are decent and they give the dogs lots of lovin' and attention. Our siblings took their dog here once and she did get that raw spot on her nose like I see in the other pics. Their dog was not used to fences and kennels and is not by herself often. Just depends on the dogs. Our dogs didn't do that to themselves because they are used to kennels and fencing. read more

The pictures of this place don't show truth. It's constantly dirty and the employees would rather spend time smoking who knows what on the porch out on the side then actually take care of the animals. The cats are neglected, the dog runs are pretty much just sloshed around instead of actually cleaned. Pets escape. The grooming facility is not up to par with safety procedures. The dogs that get baths are just put back into their cages damp and get the funk of the facility on them. Would not recommend. read more

I recently boarded my dog here and would never do again! After a week there my dog was returned to me looking like he hadn't been feed the entire time and with his bed soaked in his urine. I took him to the vet right after and they confirmed that there was no other reason he lost 10lbs but that he hadn't been feed. I went here to have my male parakeet wings clipped because this was the only place in the area that would do so. Debbie clipped his wings and even showed me where to clip and where not too, encase I would have to again. She even checked my female parakeet wings for me, because I thought the pet store may have clipped a bone in her wing. They had just cut to far in the secondary feathers. Very knowledgeable and very nice. I honestly wish they were closer. They board dogs, cats and birds. :) read more

Wouldn't recommend boarding here, employees are careless and lazy, I worked here and coworkers would literally sleep during their shift, if you're paying for walks it's a possibility you're dog isn't being walked because the employees pick and choose who they want to take outside. Careless with medications, they'll just drop it in the bowl and walk away without checking the dog took it. Cats are often neglected entirely. They bathe dogs with a creme rinse, not an actual shampoo. All of these things were constantly brought to the owners attention and she said she was "disciplining" the employees in question, yet they were still lazy and careless. When I brought it to her attention again, all she could do was say I needed to stop the "drama" or she would stop it herself, meaning firing an employee who actually cared and wanted to have coworkers who did their job instead of carrying around dead weight and doing other people's jobs for them. It's filthy and foul and the employees don't know the definition of clean. She doesn't pay the employees fairly, it's honestly a poorly run business from the inside. read more

We have been taking our dog her for over 2 years and at least 5 visits. He is a high maintenance beagle that likes to howl and hates to be left alone. We have never had a problem and we highly recommend this place to friends and family. The staff are very nice even when we cannot pick him up and he has to stay another day. The owner even lives on the grounds and seems to check in frequently. As far as the negative review I saw I cannot say I have seen how this place looks dirty it is a dog kennel not a Marriott. I am not a vet but those look like cuts from the dog trying to get out (separation anxiety) and the diarrhea could be caused by a change in foods. We bring our own and Country Critters gladly feeds him. Again not a vet I just have a dog who has separation anxiety and gets cuts just like this because he wants out. Again this a great place and I felt compelled to write a positive review after seeing the negative one. read more
