This was our second visit to Club Prive and my wife and I were celebrating our 23rd Wedding Anniversary for dinner. Since the last time I couldn't stop thinking about the Lobster Bisque and unfortunately this visit something changed with the recipe or preparation. So this most likely changed my entire perception of everything, but there is one thing that my wife and agreed on and that was the complimentary bread. It had no flavor and tasted dry and stale at room temperature and what ruined it was ice-cold unsalted butter. My salad house salad was okay and the white French dressing was just okay. My wife enjoyed her Caesar Salad. Our appetizer was the highlight of the evening as their version of Bang Bang Shrimp was AMAZING enveloped in filo pastry with a cheese mixture inside that surprised us. The dipping sauce wasn't even needed. My wife enjoyed her Surf and Turf. My Ribeye was more on the rare side which I ordered Med Rare so I took 75% home with me and just cooked it. Because dessert for us. We were impressed that they offered us complimentary Prosecco which added a nice touch. We had great service and impressed that the owner once again came over to our table to check on us multiple times. I'm unsure what happened to that outstanding Lobster Bisque!!!! read more

The place is beautiful and the food was good, however the service was terrible. Our server did not offer water refills, she did not ask if we wanted another drink, we had to ask to have our plates removed, we were not offered bread, coffee or dessert. Very disappointing. read more

This is my husband and I absolute favorite place. Every time we come we are never disappointed. Our top favorite is the salmon it's the best in the state and we've had it a number of places. All the food and drinks are top tier. I always recommend this place. The service is exceptional and the ambiance is absolutely beautiful!!! read more

Upscale atmosphere and chef-prepared entrees. Went there for an anniversary dinner Friday night. Extensive list of red wines (that we don't drink) but limited whites with no Moscato or Rieslings that we prefer, so we were disappointed. Restaurant was not busy; only about 25 guests for a Friday night; many open tables. Hostess did not offer a warm welcoming greeting or thankful goodbye; she was not of the gracious, attentive caliber we expected at a fine dining venue. Service was good but not exceptional; server was friendly; she did not ask how the food tasted but was keen on promo upsell; she did keep water glasses filled. She was apparently unaware that we we were celebrating an anniversary yet Open Table reservation requested that info. Cocktails averaged $15 each; menu items were priced high for our area; we spent $150/couple plus gratuity. Nice venue for a special event but needs some refinement of the details. read more

Very elegant ambiance and wonderful appetizers and cocktails. Service was perfect! We tried a couple of appetizers-one with lobster top and another Empanada. I will be bringing my husband back for dinner soon! read more

We dined here for the first time recently. Great food, service and ambiance. We will be back!

Ambiance was the reason we chose this for a birthday dinner. Had a drink at the bar and waited until our reservation. Once at our table we asked about what would pair well with both dinner selections, sever didn't know anything about the wines. Went to ask the owner their suggestions (didn't come to the table) to suggest wine. Wine and soup came quickly. When the bottle of wine came we asked for a decanter which our server wasn't familiar with what that was. After 45 minutes our meals finally came, not hot, not cold, but very lackluster given the price. This was a birthday dinner, as noted on the reservation numerous times, but you would have thought we walked in at 5 minutes until close instead of a 6:00 reservation. Nothing about a birthday was brought up or acknowledged. Why add that as a reason for the dinner if it's not even mentioned. Will never be back. read more

Really enjoyed our first night at Club Prive. Excellent and attentive staff with good knowledge of the food and gave suggestions upon request. My wife had the Pacific halibut and it was an exceptional presentation. I had the New York strip with the truffle sauce, and the curly crisp potatoes with dill sauce, outstanding. As far as ambience, the best laid out restaurant in Northeast Ohio. Met the owner, Henry, which is always a pleasure to find an owner that seeks input. My only recommendation, is to play soft, jazz music instead of pop music during dinner. That being said, I highly recommend this fine dining establishment. read more

Atmosphere was great, food was amazing and prices reasonable. Dan and Ivy were great bartenders and pleasant. Service was top notch.

Disappointed. Service was indifferent. Had to ask for ice water. Then it came just water. He had to go back for ice. Steak was good but not great. A bit chewy. Roasted potatoes were overcooked & not hot. Too salty. My broccolini was replaced by asparagus that I don't like. One of our party had fish that was tough. Probably overcooked. All in all, not what we'd expected. At least the chocolate torte was good. Coffee fresh & strong. Sorry. We won't be back anytime soon. read more

Beautiful building and cool bar. The restaurant was only half full and yet we Waited an hour and a half for our food and it came cold for 6 out of the 8 of us. Sauce on the short ribs was horrible. Salad lettuce limp. Too expensive for this level of bad food and wait. No apologies from the owner and no compensation. Will never go back and will not recommend to anyone! we had a reservation for weeks for a party in of 10 for 2/15 to celebrate a birthday (keep in mind we celebrate all 10 birthdays there) to have them cancel it days before for a private party! told us we could come 2/14 but only 1 menu option and all 10 have to prepay $98 for a 6oz filet.
