NOTE: Shortly after I posted this review, a Clutter representative reached out to me to apologize and asked to connect so we could resolve any issues in a quick and fair way. They followed through on this and then some. Within 24 hours, I received a multiple phone calls, an updated claim and satisfactory terms and conditions that more than satisfied the issues I outline below. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I do not write reviews on Yelp, but Clutter unleashed a different beast. I used Clutter for over a year in DC. I had a positive experience with moving my stuff into storage, but they absolutely butchered getting my stuff back. Here's what happened, with accompanying pictures below. - I had wrapped my mattress using a mattress protection bag prior to being put into storage. When I saw my mattress in the storage return from Clutter, the bag had been ripped and a corner of the mattress had been dirtied. - A Clutter mover recklessly wheeled my dresser into the corner of a doorway, shattering a bottom section of the dresser and scattering wood pieces in the hallway that I cleaned myself. - When moving my bed frame into my room, the Clutter mover hit the bed frame on the wall, damaging it. My building said their vendor would charge $200 for fixing the wall. - I opted to store my guitar amplifier, a Fender Blues Junior IV. I loaded the amplifier into a box at the loading dock, placing multiple "fragile" tags on it. I recall a Clutter mover scanning the amplifier into the system. The amplifier did not show up in the system and I did not receive it during my storage return. When I asked for an original itemized list of every item picked up, they did not provide it, instead pointing to the valuation process for assessing my claim. I have every reason to believe they broke the amp or delivered it to someone else. If you are going to use them, then buy the most expensive protection plan if you're going to store valuables. But that would put the price on par with other storage companies that will actually do a job of storing your valuables. TLDR: Clutter is awful. I will never use them again. I booked this service for storage for a week and then to move my items to a new address. They told me to make sure that I would be home because I would get charged if they came out and I was not there. I explained to them then I did not get a good phone signal in the basement where I was staying and asked if they could text me and they complied. The day of the move I took off of work waited for them to arrive called the office. Several times was told they were on their way. I let the dispatcher know I was at the pick up and would wait for their arrival. I also explained I did not have a good cell signal, but I would stay there and wait. He said no problem. I waited until 5 PM. I called multiple times was always told the same thing after five. The dispatcher told me that they tried to call me and I did not pick up. I'll let them know. I had called multiple times and said to text me because I did not have a signal. I let dispatcher know I was waiting at the pick up location. To make matters worse, they charged me $259 for a service that never even happened. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and finally got my money back after two months -- only for Clutter to charge me the same amount again afterward. This is unacceptable and feels completely dishonest. I would never recommend Clutter to anyone. They wasted my time, cost me money, and treated me with zero accountability. I'm furious! I thought I'd be saving money and not only did I lose $250. The company that I ended getting at the last minute was a lot more than what I had budgeted for. The Worst Moving Company I hired them to move a few items out of a home that was under contract and due to close in 4 days. They sent two movers, 1 dolly with a flat tire and no tools. Their movers ask me to use the tools that I had at my house. It took them 1 hour to get my couch out and I had to talk to them through getting it through the doorway. By the time they were done they damaged the door so much I had to replace it, and the couch fell over as soon as they got it outside. Second, they wrapped my ottoman, stood it up on its side and it fell through the wall leaving a large hole. In the upstairs bedroom they scratched the bottom of the baseboard and left an entire dresser in the room. They were willing to pick it up if I paid for it. I had to pay a different company to get it because they refused to come back before my closing. These were movers from hell, and I ended up getting a storage space a Public Storage for them not to move anything into my new home. They moved my items into a storage unit, and I am paying a different moving company to move my items. Finally, they offered me less than 800.00 to pay for all my damages. They charged me for going over the time, when their people did not come prepared nor equipped to do the move. My advice, use a different company. read more

DO NOT USE CLUTTER. This was by far the worst moving experience in my life. I used them to pick up my furniture, store it for a year, and re-deliver it. MULTIPLE items were completely damaged to the point they were ruined (mirrors shattered, marble tables broken, bed frame covered in dirt/mold). The legs of a credenza were ripped off (and the glass front was shattered) when they should have been removed before moving/storing in the first place. They also lost the feet to my dresser entirely and a huge bookcase just went missing. I documented all the damage/missing items and filed a claim immediately with receipts of my purchases of everything with the original prices. They took WEEKS to get back to me and would completely dodge my calls about the missing bookcase. I kept getting emails from them that my point of contact was "out of office" so I never got an update on the bookcase at all. They also had the audacity to not reimburse me for the max amount my insurance through them covered even though the damage that I provided ample evidence for FAR exceeded that amount. When I tried to call about this they once again were unresponsive and I was never able to get in touch with anyone about it. I am compelled to share my deeply troubling experience with Clutter, as both the pickup and delivery of my belongings were handled in a grossly negligent and unacceptable manner. During the initial packing and pickup, the company failed to disassemble my bed as promised and, even more concerning, the movers were observed drinking on the job. For these failures, I was issued only a $190 credit--wholly inadequate given the gravity of the misconduct. When it came time for delivery, I expected at minimum that my items would be returned in the condition they were packed. Instead, the delivery process was exponentially worse. Approximately 90% of my belongings were either damaged or never returned. The lead driver, Tyler, even admitted at the time of delivery that he had "never seen someone's items this destroyed." The losses were catastrophic: * My antique dining room table was shattered. * My mattresses were ripped apart. * My bar cart was destroyed. * None of my wine glasses or dishes arrived. * Numerous personal belongings were missing altogether. The Clutter app misleadingly indicates that all items were delivered, despite the fact that photos taken by the delivery team clearly show missing pieces. The discrepancy between what was documented and what was actually returned is deeply troubling and raises serious concerns about the integrity of the company's practices. This is not a matter of "ordinary wear and tear" or a contractual disclaimer regarding incidental damage. I paid Clutter to professionally pack and transport my property, and the company's own negligence in failing to properly secure and handle my belongings directly caused these extensive losses. By any reasonable standard, this constitutes gross mishandling and breach of service obligations. The damages I sustained are conservatively estimated at $8,000. To characterize Clutter's service as anything short of fraudulent would be an understatement. Their disclaimers cannot shield them from accountability for negligence of this magnitude. THE WORST STORAGE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE -- CLUTTER DAMAGED, DESTROYED, AND FAILED TO RETURN MY BELONGINGS. The worst was my clothing and personal items. DO NOT USE Clutter. Horrible, awful experience with this company and I absolutely would not recommend them. My daughter is a college student in DC and we used Clutter for summer storage. Upon time to return to school we received an email the day before scheduled delivery notifying us that 22 of her 23 items were "unavailable to be delivered" and the items had disappeared from the account. The email had a link to click to see delayed items and it only goes to the inventory with them one item. Only one item, a broom, will be delivered on the scheduled delivery day. How awful! I connected with the chat with no success, being told there is an operational issue at the warehouse and they do not know when the items will be available for delivery. I asked if we could pick items up from the warehouse and that is a no. They also could not tell me how to see the inventory again. As you can imagine this is devastating as my daughter has none of her belongings, NOTHING. She starts classes in just 2 days with nothing for her dorm due to Clutter. I am concerned that she may not get all of her items back (after reading the other reviews) and I am throughly disgusted at this businesses. The thought that all of her items are missing is sickening and infuriating. My daughter is concerned that her items have been stolen. We are forced to repurchase items so she can have basic necessities while she waits for lord knows how long. We flew in to DC to help her move back into her dorm and that has been useless as there is nothing to move in! I am so angry that I trusted this company and I most certainly will be posting on every single college parent group and dorm group that I can find to warn parents and students about Clutter and tell them to run away and select other options. With no choice, my family and I rented a U-Haul, bought more supplies, and finished the move ourselves. This was after paying Clutter nearly $800 for a "full-service" move. The Damaged Items After two months in storage, Clutter returned many of my belongings in pieces. We did the math and we have over $3000 worth of damaged items. And here's where it gets insulting: they deliberately minimized the destruction in their report. Here's what I actually received back versus how Clutter labeled it: * Albany Park Armchair -- leg torn completely off, screw sticking out of the side, rendered unusable and thrown away Clutter called it "minor damage" and valued it at $124. * Table Lamp -- shattered into pieces, impossible to repair Clutter called it "minor damage." * Bookcase -- ripped apart, unstable and beyond repair Clutter called it "minor damage." * Pasta Bowl (wedding gift), Large Salad Bowl (wedding gift), Candle Holders -- shattered into fragments Clutter called them "major damage" and valued them at $2-$3 each. * Lamp Shade & Harp -- completely missing Clutter said "not our fault." Some chipped glassware? Maybe. But an armchair, a bookcase, and a lamp destroyed -- and then written off as "minor damage" with laughably low payouts? That's negligence, not bad luck. So let's recap: Clutter didn't finish my move, forced me to do it myself, billed me for wasted hours, destroyed my property, lost items, and then minimized everything with insulting valuations. Their repeated misuse of their "Limited Security Warranty" to deny reimbursement for direct costs like U-Hauls and packing supplies is misleading and unfair. Everything I owned was entrusted with them but they did not help scheduling. Leaving a window of 7 to 3 works for them but what if they are 6 hours late? Do they get charged my work hourly rate for having me sit and wait surrounded by boxes? They no-showed for me for initial pick up and did not even bother to notify me till I called them myself after the window they gave me expired. I waited for them for over 3 hours by the storage place. ZERO compensation for it! They rescheduled without even asking if the day works for me! Then I changed it few days in advance they had a nerve to change me $100 fee... TWICE!!! No warning before you click the reschedule button! Horrific customer service. They just blow you off! Oh, and they charged another $100 to cancel! Beware that their dimensions only allow 4 feet height. So even if your staff would fits fine in let's say 10 x 10 storage, they will charge you for more! I reached out to Clutter to send photos of my couch they were storing because they never uploaded the correct photos of it in the warehouse to begin with. They then charged me $45 that I never authorized and very clearly told them not to charge to take the photos, because I should have had these in the beginning. When I received the photos they showed additional damage to the couch that looks like water and mold (they had already damaged all of the corners when moving it) and it was poorly wrapped. I asked for photos that show the new damage clearly and asked them to then send photos of the item re-wrapped properly. All they have said is that they can't refund me the $45 and won't send me new/clearer photos. This is a $3,000 couch which cannot be repaired based on the damage they've done. I've tried contacting supervisors and no one has responded. This is horrible service and I would never use this company again, and don't recommend it to anyone. I had a terrible experience with Clutter and would never recommend them. I scheduled my storage pickup weeks in advance and was clearly told that my movers would have a six-hour pickup window starting at 8:00 AM. My moving team arrived right on time at 8:00 AM, only to be told my belongings wouldn't be ready until four hours later. This delay cost me $638 in wait-time fees on top of Clutter's unclear $266 warehouse service fee--a fee that was never made transparent upfront when I booked the storage service and is apparently tied to their internal warehouse hours, not the actual pickup window provided to customers. When I reached out to customer service during the delay, I was told there was nothing they could do, and they admitted they couldn't even contact the warehouse directly to resolve the problem. I initially chose this company because it advertised both storage and shipping services, which suited my needs during my transition from military training to my first duty station. Unfortunately, my experience has been full of delays and miscommunication. I first contacted Clutter on February 3 to schedule a pick-up for February 16. Due to my unavailability, I rescheduled for February 23 and was charged $100 for this change. Though unusual, I accepted the charge, assuming the service would go smoothly. Soon after, I learned from customer service that Clutter doesn't offer shipping services, only for another representative to later clarify that FedEx shipping was indeed available. On March 17, I finalized my shipment through Clutter's portal. I encountered technical issues entering my address and contacted customer service for help. The issue was resolved, and I placed the order to ship my items to my new duty station in Utah on March 18. I was told my items would arrive by March 19, but they did not. On March 22, I received an invoice and tracking number from FedEx. When I checked the tracking status, it indicated that a shipping label had been created, but FedEx had not received my packages. By March 24, the tracking status had not changed, so I followed up with your team, but the issue remained unresolved. On March 25, I was informed that my items had been delivered to FedEx. However, when I called FedEx twice that same day, they confirmed that the status "label created" meant they had not received the items. This contradicted the information provided by your team. As of March 27, my items are still missing. Despite multiple calls and emails, I have not received any substantial updates. A ticket was created on March 25, and I was texted on March 26 with a promise of a follow-up call within 48 to 72 hours, but I've received no communication since. Additionally, I was charged for future storage on March 24 (for the period of March 23 to April 23), despite my items no longer being in storage. This has added further frustration. To date, I've spent $504.91 on this service, which is unjustifiable given the poor service I've received. This situation is a significant disruption. The missing shipment contains essential military-issued clothing, critical documents (e.g., my Social Security card, birth certificate, and marriage certificate), and sentimental items (e.g., letters from my mother during training) that are vital to my transition at my first duty station. FOURTH UPDATE TO MANAGER RESPONSE SEE SCREENSHOTS. TIME TO SUE YOU PEOPLE. Third update to manager response: I have not received a confirmation email that "Karrol" will call me back tomorrow. When I called to ask where it was hours ago, I was told "they're drafting it." It takes that long to draft a 1-2 sentence email confirming your trust and safety representative would call me back tomorrow? Really? Seems Clutter can't even handle complaints efficiently. Second update to manager response: I did receive a call from Karrol and spoke with her, sent her multiple emails afterwards that contained evidence supporting my claim, called today, got put on hold for a long time just to be told she'll "call me back". I requested an email acknowledging that she'd be calling me back. No email. It takes 30 seconds to say "hi, expect a call tomorrow." If I have to call again tomorrow, and "Karrol" isn't available, I'll be hiring an attorney. You should not be permitted to rip people off. I'll be updating this review with every single transgression this company commits. Response to company: unfortunately it is your trust and safety team which has refused to help me or even speak to me. I'm planning to file a police report for the physical assault on me when the team member tried to push past me. That is beyond unprofessional and is threatening behavior, especially when he punched my closed door before leaving. I booked them for a one day move to their storage. They decided it would be two. The arrival time on the second day started at 11:30; then was moved to 1:30 to 2:30; then 3:15 to 5:30. No arrival at 3:15 and I got nervous and called customer service. I was told they had clocked in to start my job at 3:15. I said they did not. While I was on the phone with customer service, roughly 4:15 to 4:30, they finally tried to call me. When I tried to call them back, it went to voicemail. I called customer service back and had customer service on the line when I went to meet the team. One of the team members immediately started screaming at me. I brought them upstairs and the guy kept yelling insults at me. I opened my apartment door and my dog was there and the guy who was being aggressive and abusive shook his head and said "no." He called his boss and while he was on the phone he started to physically push me out of his way to enter my apartment so instinctively I said "get out of my house" since he was being physically aggressive in addition to verbally. I closed the door and the guy kept yelling in my hallway and then punched my door and left. The company's response? Not only will they not complete the job they also refuse to store the items they did pick up, and will not refund my money. Stored with Clutter for several months, spending thousands, and they destroyed a long, vintage table that was intended as a centerpiece seating area in a commercial space. Their response? A joke: $80 in compensation because I didn't opt for additional insurance. Isn't the basic premise of your service that you handle items with care and store them safely? I certainly didn't break it. That $80 doesn't even begin to cover the cost of storing the item based on it's square footage, let alone the expense of disposing of it (which I now have to handle because it's oversized and can't go out with regular trash) or replacing it. Commercial furniture takes time to replace, so now I'm stuck for weeks without a critical piece of my layout. On top of that, during the move-in, I was scrambling to unwrap the furniture myself-but the movers didn't take it back with them they left all the moving blankets behind for me to clean up. I am beyond upset with everything and I want to share my experience to warn other parents. We called Clutter to ask questions before we booked. We spoke to someone in the US who was lovely and assured us of the pick up and moving and storage experience. They said they would pick up the items from my daughter's apartment, wrap the items, move them and store them in our own secure and locked space that we ordered and then return the items to us. June- we booked the move out and pick up for my daughter's items. Clutter arrived however, when they started packing up the truck, they informed my daughter that she was the second pick up of the day and they wouldn't have room for all of her stuff because the first pick up of the day had too much stuff. This was 2 days before her apartment lease was up. The movers told my daughter she had to choose at least 6 items to not send in the truck because they didn't have room (we FaceTimed with her and there was plenty of room left in the truck). The movers shoved things in and broke an item. They came to pick up the items in the afternoon. They told us it was impossible to get another truck that day but if we waited and called clutter that they might be able to get another truck sometime in the next 2 weeks or so but they couldn't guarantee it. We tried to call everyone including managers, customer service etc and spent HOURS on the phone trying to deal with it. All the customer service representatives were in India and couldn't get in touch with anyone but told us a manager would call us back in 48 hours (they never did call). My husband ended up driving down to her apartment to pick up the remaining 10 items they couldn't fit in the truck and we stored them at home all summer. For the next week I tried calling customer service, filed a claim, but not a single person called me back. Each time I was assured that a customer service manager would call me back within 48 hours. A week later they called back and told me that again they would try to pick up the remaining items in the next 2 weeks or so if they could find an appointment. (Her lease was up and we were home so it was over and not dealt with ) Fast forward to today. Move in day! Everything shoukd go right. NOPE. Come to find out that Clutter LOST 6 items (because apparently they don't store each persons stuff in their own storage unit but in a bulk warehouse ). I called customer service who told me that her items were put lost, but were misplaced somewhere in their warehouse and they might be able to find them in their next week or so and we coukd schedule another delivery if they were found. Now I know you are thinking.. ok it could be small things. NOPE. Clutter LOST my daughters 85 inch 6 drawer HUGE dresser. They LOST the glass shelves for her 72 inch entertainment center. They LOST 5 large boxes including all of her decor items, her kitchen items, her large indoor kitchen grill, her panini maker, and her bathroom items. Customer service will not call us and told us to file a claim. Fortunately we paid insurance. Unfortunately we only got insured for $1000 of the total purchase. In hindsight sight I should have paid for the $2500 insurance since that's what we lost. I mean who would have thought they would lose a DRESSER! So now we wait another 5-7 days to see what happens. In the meantime, she has moved into her apartment and is working a full time job and now needs to take off another day in the event that they find her furniture to have it delivered. If not then we need to replace all the lost items and hire task rabbit to come move it in and put the dresser together. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT USE CLUTTER. WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVRR HAD. lol Apparently customer has a no supervisor policy and have a no supervisor at all. They have zero US support once you book the appointment and they transfer your call to India (I'm not assuming this. They told me they were in India). They can't help you at all. I have been trying to deal with a human for months. I called today the sales team to ask questions and was told "clutter has a no supervisor policy" then they transferred me to a call center in India and they told me a customer supervisor would call me back within 1-2 hours, he would check on the availability of a supervisor, he can't find a supervisor that is available, a supervisor will call me back within 24-48 hours,and then said a customer supervisor will call me back after "some amount of time". Clutter lost multiple high ticket items of ours. Our king size mattress, pottery barn bunk bed, another high end custom Amish made piece of solid wood furniture, a rocking chair I rocked all my babies on and so much more. They have barely offered any compensation and are not even attempting to locate these expensive and meaningful items of ours. We have moved across the country now and will need them to ship it to us but they are trying to get out of looking for these items. Do not let them store your stuff. read more

I have been dealing with a nightmare scenario with Clutter for over a month where they told me my items are "inaccessible." I made it clear that I needed my items before leaving on extended international travel and they failed to resolve the issue. I spent the better part of the month emailing and calling Clutter, and the final resolution they have offered me for the issue is a $50 credit and a "free item return" in January (item return was already free and my items weren't supposed to be with Clutter in January in the first place). I'm now out of country and forced to leave my items with Clutter where they will continue to rack up charges minus the laughable $50 credit. I have been incredibly unimpressed my their customer service. We have had the worst experience with this company. We just got our items delivered, and yet again, they have failed to bring all the stuff. They logged our bags in in Nov 2023, but when we requested they bring them back today, there is a bag missing. Their customer service is a call center that insists they cannot help in any way, and no one is willing to even go back and see where they might have left our items in their warehouse. I used this company to store all my belongings for a few months until I found a new condo. While it was very expensive, it seemed to be a practical and convenient option. I paid an hourly rate for the move out, along with the storage fees. The move out seemed to go relatively well, but my mistake was not watching how some of the furniture and pictures were being packed or disassembled. When the time came to get my stuff back (which was of no charge) I was in for some unpleasant surprises. They hadn't fully wrapped a glass table and the exposed corners were damaged; they had disassembled my couch and lost the custom screws; they disassembled my bed partially and didn't package it correctly; some items were not tagged and were lost in the move. What was most infuriating was the claims process. FIRST - they had incorrect information about my items. They had my table being 24 x 48 - the table top was 6 feet so the weight they captured was not accurate so my claim reimbursement was not commensurate. The initial response to the sofa was to reimburse me $12 so I could buy replacement screws. It took a lot of back and forth before I got them to give me a reimbursement for the weight, although since there was no weight on the link I gave them on the website, so I have no idea how they came up with that number. At that point, I was done with dealing with this company. Never, ever, ever, ever again will I use this company. read more

I had to go to my local BBB to get resolution. Clutter set my moving date for July 4. I questioned the move date because it was a holiday but was told they would be open. After several weeks of constant communication, Clutter waited until 7 business days before my move to inform me that they changed my moving date to July 10 without prior notification or approval. Because my move had been built around July 4, I could not change the date on such last minute notice and would have been homeless between the 4th and the 10th. Clutter made new attempt to find a suitable date for me so I Declined the modified move and requested the money I had pre-paid in full, including the deposit, be refunded since they breached The move-in agreement we had established. Initially clutter agreed to this, but then when I received the refund, I also received a message that they resend the refund of the deposit because it was their policy to not refund deposits. I reminded them that per contract. The deposit was holding a date that they reneged and we're no longer holding for me. When the response that I got back from the company was the same, I reached out to my local Better Business Bureau with documentation of emails and other correspondence and receipts. I was fully prepared to take this matter to court if necessary but Clutter obviously realized they were at fault and reached out to me, the day after my filing a complaint and offered to refund the deposit immediately. Luckily, I was able to find a great moving company that I had used before, Helix Moving and Storage. Helix Was able to fit me in at the last minute with no additional charge and they ended up being $300 cheaper than Clutter. I do not recommend Clutter, they are disorganized, dishonest, and Their policies are not custom centric, but self-serving. Do not fall for the promos and discounts because there are several other good companies out there that already cost less. read more

When I heard that this company was promising free pickup and drop-off it seemed too good to be true so I decided to call their team. I spoke with a manager and she kindly answered all my questions telling me I had no reason to doubt since I was simply moving my stuff from a 10x10 to a 10x10 unit. I reluctantly accepted the offer and agreed to sign up for a 10x10. Unfortunately, this was the biggest mistake I've done with a storage company! I was promised 3 to 4 people would show up to the move, however when the day came only 2 people showed up. After realizing they would not be able to finish packing and moving before my current storage closed, I decided to help and was there helping alongside for 4 hours!! I did not like this but I felt this a good deed from my end to pay for the no cost packing and moving. While moving, the lead mover repeatedly said they were having issues uploading the inventory to their app and that they will finish it once they arrived at their center. I told them "I don't mind, just make sure THERE IS NO CHANGE ON MY ACCOUNT", to which he replied "No worries, I'll make sure your stuff fits on a 10x10 as you have here" To my astonishment, I started to receive messages from Clutch telling me that I've gone over the limits of my 10x10 storage and that they will move me to the 10x15, however I needed to pay $72/month more. I WAS SHOCKED AND BETRAYED! The only reason I moved my stuff from my previous storage to them was to save money. If I had known this I would have NEVER moved as the new rate was even more than what I was paying. I called their customer support multiple times and opened a case with a manager. I could not understand how my things that were fitting fine on a 10x10 (to which I sent them video proof of this) were not fitting on their 10x10. At that point is when I was told... "This is because our storages only have a 4ft ceiling and their storages are not the same as others" - I could NOT believe this. I then proceeded to research the industry and I found out the following: 1. They compare themselves with other storages clearly on their website 2. They advertise the 10x10 storage size and compare it to the size of a "garage size" (there is no garage that has a 4ft ceiling. 3. The industry standard for ALL storage units across the US is 7-8ft. 4. Nowhere on their website they disclose their storage ceiling height. 5. Nowhere on their Terms & Conditions they disclose their storage ceiling height. Even after showing them all this proof, their customer service and management acted as if they couldn't care less and were told that they would not be changing my account. Currently, I am in the process of filing a lawsuit against this company in light of proven Deceptive Business Practices and reporting them to the Federal Trade Commission. I hired Clutter to move my belongings and furniture from Washington, DC to their storage facility in Colombia, MD for 1 month, and then to Baltimore, MD in a new apartment. I packed up all my things so all Clutter had to do was take apart my furniture (bed, couch), pack the truck with my things, and deliver them to the warehouse. The first part of the move went smoothly and had no issues. However, when my things were delivered to my new apartment in Baltimore, MD, I was missing many important items and multiple things were completely damaged or lost entirely. Clutter lost my entire bed frame and failed to deliver it. They claimed it was "lost in the warehouse" and "never scanned in to inventory". I attempted to resolve this with Clutter and receive either money back (at the cost of the bedframe), a replacement bed, moving credit, or if they found my bed in the warehouse. I was looking for anything to help the financial burden and the complete headache of having no bed- but they gave me NOTHING. I was put on hold, was never contacted with an update and had to reach out multiple times speaking to countless customer service agents who were no help. I filed a dispute for my lost bed frame, destroyed dresser and nightstand, lost mop and broom, and the only thing they gave me in return for all of this was $50. The bed frame was almost $1300 and they gave me no compensation. I tried to file a dispute with my bank instead in any attempt to receive some financial relief from this situation because Clutter was no help at all. I still ended up receiving nothing and now have to find the money to purchase a new bed, on top of paying the storage and moving fee for something that was never actually delivered in the first place. I scheduled with them 2 weeks out..I received all the text messages and emails in the world, confirming my dates and time. When it came to the day that I was expecting movers, no one showed up. I gave them an hour no one showed up.. I looked through my text messages. My emails and I received no calls. I called the call center and that's when they tried to tell me that due to unforeseen circumstances that they had to move my dates but that wasn't until after I made the phone call. There were no text messages emails or phone calls informing me of this information.. my scheduled time that they were supposed to arrive was between 0700-0800. They decided to reschedule me without informing me on a day that I did not agree to. They waited until I called them and then they rescheduled me in the system and not even on the phone call. Which tells me that if you could do that in the system then that same person could've called me. Text me and email me and inform me that they are unable to execute my appointment. They did not bother to ask me what is my next availability or when is the next feasible time that I would like for them to show up. This is not how you conduct business and this is unacceptable. I no longer require their Service. I loaded and unloaded my items myself and saved a lot of money. They have the audacity to charge what they charge for a piss poor Service or lack of service.. INITIAL REVIEW: I am a public school employee who doesn't have cabinets to store my supplies and used this company to move and store my items over the summer. They broke apart two cabinets made of strong plastic by pulling it apart and leaving holes/cracks---making both unusable. They pulled out all the items in my cabinets and it looks like the items were thrown in boxes, leaving books and binders damaged and wildly disorganized. Do not use this company. I have been trying to locate my stored items that were to have been delivered five days ago, to no avail. Their phone number is to a call center in India with no one who can help, other than to tell me that my items are "inaccessible." I can't even get confirmation that the company still have my belongings.
