Finally go to try this place after seeing so many posts about it. Located on Drexel's campus, this place is on it's way to becoming THE spot for korean fried chicken. You walk in and there's an area for seating, and another area to order. The area was both spacious and super clean, easy to come here with a big party. Honestly, we would have tried more flavors but it was just the 2 of us (guess we just have to come back!). As soon as they brought our chicken out the SMELLS were just absolute amazing, so we were very excited to try. The Cheese Monster was both savory with the perfect amount of cheese flavor from the cheese powder, and not a flavor you see at a lot of places so I was really happy to have picked this flavor. The cheese compliments the flavors and seasonings of the chicken so well. The Garlic Soy Tikkudak caught me by surprise, not only did it have a rich sweet flavor from the soy, but also had a slight kick to it! I love a little spice in my food so I was really happy with it. I will say, the garlic soy is a little sweeter than most garlic soy flavors, but otherwise, it was still really good. One other thing to mention also was that the portions were pretty big. Believe the hype because this is some excellent fried chicken! Every bite of my honey garlic glazed half chicken was juicy and succulent. I found myself actually wanting to eat the delicious, crunchy breading on every piece. It is insanely good. I've walked by this place so many times but never had an opportunity to place an order because they were closed after my law classes. This semester, I walked on in right after my last class at 4:30 and placed my order but not necessarily expecting greatness. After all, you can get fried chicken anywhere! It absolutely exceeded all my expectations. I am not kidding when I say that people can probably smell my chicken a block away as the aroma was so strong yet calming to the senses. Has a great selection of chicken flavors and they all so good! The Snow Chicken is super oniony so bring some gums with you, and the spicy chicken is really saucy and rich in flavor! The best thing probably the curly fries, they are super addicting and crispy. It was a lot of food so I recommend bring a bunch of friends with you. The vibes was great however for the space I wish the table are a bit far a part, my friend and I sat by the wall and it was a bit challenging to get out. This new Korean fried chicken place is a must try!! The location is prime for Penn/Drexel students and you can order online to have the food ready when you arrive. I tried the original fried chicken & with tikkudak soy garlic sauce, both tenders because I'm not a fan of bones. However, be warned that the pieces are small if you order tenders so you might get more breading to chicken (ratio wise) than you might expect. However - I was a huge fan of the chicken itself!! It was not dry at all and it was seasoned well even without any sauce. Takeout orders are well packaged with foil to keep the heat in and come with a cup of pickled radish cubes. When I was here there weren't really customers eating in, mostly just takeout. Interior is a pretty industrial-type feel, but it would be a nice place to sit and have a casual meal with friends. I ordered CM Chicken with my sister and partner to try it out since this opened somewhat recently in University City. We read a few reviews actually before we ordered because we saw that there were a few different interesting flavors we just weren't sure about (like hot snow onion, one of the ones we actually ended up ordering). That's one great thing about CM Chicken is that they have some unique flavors and things that they do with their chicken. We ordered tenders for everything because I just didn't feel like dealing with chicken bones, but in hindsight we should have done maybe a half chicken or something for some flavors to get a variety of wings/thighs and see if they were able to maintain the crunchiness better than tenders can. The reviews all recommend snow onion, so we got the hot snow onion flavor, the cheese monster flavor and the soy garlic as our standard for comparison to other Korean fried chicken places. We also ordered a side of waffle fries. The snow onion ended up being everyone's favorite, it was just so interesting and we're glad we followed the reviews. The white sauce was really creamy and my partner said he could taste almost like a nuttiness to it; the chicken went really well with the onion too (it's raw onion so be sure to mix it with the sauce well). The cheese monster was really good too, we wish it came with more of the cheddar sauce to pour over but it was nice. The soy garlic was also good, not as good we thought as some of the other Korean fried chicken places, but we liked the tiny bit of heat in it. The fries were really not great; they tasted like they sat in the fryer for a bit too long and it was mostly crumbs after the first few full pieces at the top. Overall, we liked it and would order again and felt the chicken was well cooked and flavored, but we just wish it was slightly more crispy (which might be the case if we ordered bone-in and not just tenders) and we wish the fries were better quality. read more

I ordered garlic soy gizzard, garlic spicy chicken and take out garlic soy chicken. This is the first time I have Korean fried chicken. First, they all have good flavors that I don't see in most American fried chicken. Second, even garlic soy has a little bit kick but it is good even for my husband who doesn't like spicy food. Just a little kick but even people don't eat spicy food can take it not over powering, just add more complexity to the flavor. For garlic spicy chicken the sauce is way too much in my opinion hence the 4 starts instead of 5. There is a lot of sauce dripping compared to garlic soy chicken. I actually preferred garlic soy chicken if you have me choose between the two even I like more spicy flavor but over sauced is not my thing. The fresh, marinated onions perfectly balanced out the crunchy, savory chicken. The snow onion flavor was also interesting, it was regular fried chicken topped with thinly sliced raw onions that was marinated in a sauce that reminded me of coleslaw.
