They took almost 40 minutes to come out and when they finally made it to the table were ice cold. Our waiter redeemed the situation to the best of his ability, apologizing for the delay, explaining the kitchen was backed up, etc. Our mains came out quickly after the appetizer, thank goodness. We shared the pressed spicy tuna sushi and green papaya salad. The sushi was slightly overpriced IMO but good -- not the best I've ever had but flavorful and fresh. The salad was the surprising winner of the night! The crunchy texture and vibrant flavors all really combined well for a solid dish and reasonably priced at $11. I'll be back over and over again for this one! Knowing we were on a time crunch (trying to make a movie at the theatre across the shopping center), our waiter brought our check with our entree which was appreciated. Stopped in Friday night, still during the pandemic figured we wouldn't get a seat and low and behold SCORE after a brief 10 minute wait. Looking for good sushi north of the border. And the verdict is......good sushi. Not the best sushi but it fit the bill and it was a step up from the cut rate joints offering BOGO. Sweetie and I had 3 rolls between the 2 of us. The Bang Bang Shrimp roll was good, nice crispy banging shrimp. Thai Salmon roll, with salmon flakes instead of real salmon was disappointing and my roll with the torched shrimp was tasty. Rolls were a little small for the money and the service was overworked and it showed. I appreciate them being open and the servers coming to work so not much more to say. read more

The prices reflect the upscale facade. The first time I came I got pho, and the second time I got ramen. Both times the meal left me wanting more in terms of flavor. It's not like it's bland, it's just not worth remembering. It lacked the depth of flavor you can expect at other ramen places around Charlotte. It was comparable to a slightly higher end instant ramen. The one thing I can give it is that the service was great both times. Great service doesn't make up for the uninspired eats though. I decided spontaneously to try this place on my birthday, a February Monday night. Typically, I have seen the place packed and people waiting forever for a table, but surprisingly we were very quickly seated for not having had a reservation. I was craving a Poke Bowl, and CO has many diverse options, allowing me to get a Poke Bowl but also having options like sandwiches and noodles and rice bowls as well. But the biggest thing was... the service! Uncomparable. My friend and I were catching up, and totally oblivious to the "long wait" that our waitress told us we were having. The restaurant manager ended up covering our entire meal, AND giving us a free birthday dessert because WE apparently had treated his employee "so well"... (talk about a generous restaurant manager whom really cares about his team!) The waitress later shared that she had had a pretty rough night... almost all the customers were acting entitled, being rude to her, calling her a "b*tch" because their food wasn't coming out fast enough. I was shocked to hear that this was the norm in the Park Roads area... and that how my friend and I acted--with patience and understanding and smiles--was actually very rare. Ultimately, I have never forgotten their generosity that night, and they have inspired me to remember to be kind at all times, you never know what the circumstances really are. Sushi was delicious! The service was fast and very pleasant. We sat outside on the patio and with great weather it is the perfect spot.

The food was absolutely amazing! I had 3 sushi rolls and the Vietnamese Limeade. The only issue I had was the insanely long wait for each order. The first 2 rolls took almost 20 minutes to come out. All the while I watched people order and eat before I recieved my order. The manger did come by to apologize which was helpful and nice. After I ate the 1st 2 I ordered a 3rd one which also took 15-20 minutes to arrive. Again they came and apologized but at that point I had been there for almost an hour. This is such a cool little spot. I went for happy hour one day after work with some of my co workers and our case management clients. I like how they have different drink and food specials each day of the week. The specials usually run from about 5-7pm I believe. We ordered some chicken wings, which were good! The inside is SO gorgeous with the bar in the middle and the artwork on the walls, it's so appealing when you first walk in. I ordered the Thai Green Curry after discussing a couple options with my waitress, she was super helpful. At first I was put off by the price...and then I saw the MASSIVE portion. This was two meals, you could definitely split with someone. It was so yummy. The broth was thick and spicy without being overbearing. The rice was perfectly cooked. I had tofu in mine and it was also cooked perfectly--crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I haven't been here in at least 3-4 years. They've redecorated and I have to admit, I don't like it much. It used to be a posh-looking restaurant. Now it looks like an urban bar, with bare concrete floors and brick wall. Just so happens that their heat went out the night before and it was only 47 degrees outside so this place was really cold, but we didn't find out why until we had already ordered. Initially, we thought it was because our table was near the door. Our waiter was really nice. However, our order seemed to take a really long time and not sure why. My husband got the yellow curry shrimp off the appetizer menu for lunch. It came with 6 shrimp and a soupy curry sauce to dip the toasted bread in. Personally, I thought the curry sauce had a bit too much salt. I got the green curry chicken ($16). It was very good. We have ordered take out from CO recently and I would say it is a solid 4-stars, but they are getting 5 from me because of their VERY friendly gluten-free practices. I have ordered a few noodle dishes here that denote fully GF as well as sushi and have been impressed each time. Solid place. Two words: curry laksa. I love all the Asian options they have! From curry, to sushi, to poke bowls, to Vietnamese, to Banh Mi, to Thai food, etc. They have something for everyone! Tuesdays and Thursdays they have half price sushi! Also, half price sake! Their sake infusions are made in house and they are delicious. Blackberry, pineapple, cucumber, and lychee/lemongrass. Their cocktails are actually quite good as well. A bit more expensive than I think they should be though. They also have happy hour food each day. They are small bites, which can be a nice compliment to other dishes. The curry laksa is their signature menu item. I can't get away from ordering it because it is so delicious! The portion is also huge, so I always get two meals out of it. Everyone at the table tried mine and wished they had gotten it, too. Service is a bit slow, but they are kind. It was not the food or the service, but the fact that the restaurant was not clean. When we walked to our table our feet stuck to the floor, as if a sugary drink had been spilled and not mopped up. I thought that this was just in our area, but when walking to the restroom the stickiness was throughout the restaurant. The paper menus we were given were also dirty. I have a favorite sushi restaurant in town but was trying to be flexible for friends that had to drive further. It won't happen again. I ate here years ago when they first opened and wasn't blown away then. Last night I spent a LOT of money of food that had very little flavor. The Cambodian roll was tiny, flavorless and ridiculously prices. The Udon bowl flavor was fine. I was told it was "very spicy" and it wasn't and the tofu was tough and chewy. The beer was cold and delicious (hard to go wrong from a tap) and our waitress was delightful. She is the only reason I'm giving any stars. I love this place! First of all, I'm a huge fan of Asian cuisine, so the different Asian fusions they have on their menu are so intriguing. On this visit, my friends and I met up to join Co in their 3rd year anniversary! We were able to quickly get a table for 8 and also in time to still make happy hour. They have a great selection of bar bites and on Tuesday's they have 1/2 off sake carafes. I opted for the lemongrass lychee and it was amazing! I also ordered the pork and crab spring roll (not pictured) and the spicy crab rangoons (AMAZING!) As it was their anniversary celebration they were offering the curry laksa (with chicken) broth bowl for $3; which is a fraction of the regular price. The broth is so flavorful and the toppings (cucumbers, Thai basil, bean sprouts, bok choy and rice noodles) make for a huge portion. I would highly recommend this place and we are planning to meet back up for happy hour soon! read more

I also ordered the spicy crab Rangoon's & the mango summer rolls. Overall the Curry Laksa was sooo good I'll definitely be back for that!!! The Rangoon's was ok they reminded me of buffalo chicken dip if that makes sense. The summer rolls I didn't care for, they were over packed so they had bursted open when I opened the box & the flavor or the peanut sauce wasn't that good; overall I've had better. We visited the location off Park Rd. It's really cute and clean inside. The staff is really nice and seated us quickly. Our server answered all my questions and recommended her favorite menu items. Let's just say I wanted everything on the menu, it was so hard to decide. I finally decided on Curry Laska and added shrimp (chicken is already included). My guy got Spicy Beef Pho. Oh man, WHY did I wait so long to check out CO? I dropped in for dinner on a Wednesday evening around 6 p.m. - we were able to snag bar seats right away (by 6:30ish, the restaurant was full and there was a wait for a table or bar seats). We started off with the $3 happy hour summer roll with a delicious peanut sauce - it was the perfect light start for 2 people. We both ordered the curry laksa with shrimp added -- this noodle soup was so rich and flavorful. The coconut-curry creaminess was simply dream-worthy.
