Crispy tacos with the amazing rice and beans on the side.

An exceptional restaurant in a town with lots of options. Coa exceeded our expectations. This isn't your standard taco or burrito plate restaurant. There is a huge selection of cocktails and mocktails. The salsa and the chips are homemade and wonderful. The menu is not traditional but leans modern. We had the crispy tacos and the chili rellano. The beans - exceptional. This isn't from a can. They are homemade and melt in your mouth. The rice is fluffy and flavorful. It's very very good. Service is friendly and they move quickly. In a town where many places look the same go here and enjoy the menus!

Major yes from me! I was looking for a light lunch and decided that Mexican sounded amazing. The building is really cool- their patio is built around a tree, and this made me want to explore more! The inside is really vibey- looks like a place you'd find in a big city! Really cool wallpaper and a beautiful instagrammable aesthetic. It had a laid back vibe and lots of cool touches. I got the chile relleno as it had won several awards and it lived up to the hype! It was so flavorful and delicious, Wow! Tons of gluten free options, vegetarian dishes, and healthy options. Was really impressed by the menu. They have a full bar as well but not a ton of mocktails. Service was kind and quick. Just what we needed. I would definitely come back for more!

Again the Molcajete is the best thing here! Love all the steak, chicken and shrimp. The sauce is incredible so full of wonderful spice and flavor. The giant jalapeño tonight was very hot! The bar and dining room were full and the service was still excellent. This is a fantastic place to enjoy a great margarita or beer. Enjoy!

This is a rare five star review on my first visit to Coa because... Coa Mexican Restaurant is a hidden gem! Their Burrito Loco is bursting with flavor, and the house margaritas are simply divine. Perfect spot for a delicious meal and great drinks! Exceptional service and a thoughtful touch for Mother's Day! The staff went above and beyond, and I received a beautiful rose to celebrate the occasion. Truly a memorable experience. Ambiance is modern, warm, and welcoming whether you sit inside or on the deck under the beautiful tree.

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants that I have dined at...wow...what a serendipitous find. We went through the recommendation of the antique lighting store across the door from the restaurant and also from a wine tasting location in La Conner. We were blown away with the food. Guacamole and chips were amazing. The enchiladas were top notch, accompanied by rice and beans. The beans were more of white beans and were great. Each of the pork, checkn and vegetable enchiladas were remarkable. The only let down was their margarita which was way too sweet for my tastes. Service was good, ambience was upscale, and price is reasonable for the overall experience. Will be finding an excuse to visit again.

Great green chile pork burrito. Great salsa, charming severs. Feels like a family vibe as well. Lots of locals for lunch.

We tried the mole taquitos which were sweet and spicy - great depth. Also did the carne asada - meat was nicely charred without being overcooked, and loved the roasted jalepenos it came with. Free chips and salsa, which is increasingly rare. Margarita was a bit too sweet for my taste but I'm sure the could adjust it. Service was friendly and fast.

The usual chips and salsa were served after we were seated, though service began rather slowly, then quickly improved. The nachos were homemade corn tortilla chips topped with Melted Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheese, refried beans, tomato, onions, jalapenos, sour cream and guacamole ($16 + $3 for added chicken). The nachos were fine, but the very non-typical Margaritas we had were incredible! I had the Pepinito ($14), silver tequila, cilantro, cucumber, fresh lime and orange liqueur. My wife had the Beso Frances ($15), silver tequila, Chambord raspberry, orange liqueur, Roses lime and fresh lime . Believe me when I tell you that you've likely never had Margaritas like these with unique ingredients. The other thing that impressed me most with this restaurant is that's it's family owned and everyone from mom, daughter and brother is involved and they're all so very friendly and welcoming. Do your part to support small, family owned businesses and EAT HERE!

The first time my wife and I came in, we shared the fajitas and they were absolutely incredible. Everything was full of flavor, fresh, and cooked perfectly. Their homemade beans alone are worth talking about -- seriously some of the best I've had. We came back again today and I tried the enchiladas with the creamy poblano sauce... and wow. Hands down the best enchiladas I've ever had. That sauce was rich, flavorful, and something I'll definitely be coming back for. On top of the amazing food, the customer service has been top notch both times. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and really makes the experience even better. And I can't forget the real fruit coconut margarita -- absolutely to die for! Fresh, beautiful, and just as good as it looks. This place is officially one of our favorites. They are not on the menu nor are they advertised in any way. We asked when we got in and they said they had two available. Nobody else there was drinking them. This was odd to me since they are so viral online this week! The soft serve margs were EVERYTHING to me. Soft, creamy, flavorful, oh my god. A margarita with the texture of soft serve ice cream. Fantastic. A dream. We were scooping them up like ice cream until we remembered that they had alcohol and that we should slow down. The strawberry one has dairy and some nuts/marzipan. It was more girly and creamy. The mango one tasted exactly like a mango margarita but with the texture of soft serve. The food was good. My friend got carne asada and it was a really big portion- came with bacon wrapped shrimp and chicken as well! I got the nachos with no meat and they were good. The refried beans reallllly tasted like lard. Like liquid. I tried to avoid them. The bathroom was DISGUSTING. Worst bathroom I have been in IN MY LIFE. The women's toilet had NO SEAT. What the hell. And there was zero toilet paper and garbage everywhere. Plus the door gets stuck easily so you can get locked in. Truly a nightmare. Go for soft serve margaritas, chips, and salsa. Use the bathroom before you go. The soft serve margs will honestly keep me coming back despite the rest.

Ugh, I hate when I can't say everything was amazing... but aside from service, the chips, salsa, and Pico de Gallo, it wasn't amazing. The chicken flautas that are supposed to be deep-fried were undercooked, soft, and soggy. The shredded chicken filling seemed to be the cause for the sogginess, but the guac was so flavorful! The skinny marg with fresh lime juice was overly sweet and tasted syrupy, absolutely no fresh squeezed lime taste or texture at all. I'm hoping it was just an off night, but every dish that had shredded chicken was pooling in liquid, while the chicken itself was dry. Others at my table got Carne Masada tacos which they ate and were happy with l. There seemed to be a good amount of locals coming in, so I'm sure they have dishes that people come back for so we may give it another try the next time we're in town. Lots of seating on two sides of the restaurant. Cool saloon style bar area. Watch out - restrooms are not what you would expect!
