    Back of fanny pack
    Derek Y.

First time here, decided to buy a leather fanny pack for my trip to Japan. Miles was my salesman, excellent customer service, took out all different sizes fanny pack, I choose the bigger one, which was perfect. It wasn't cheap, you're paying for the brand name and workmanship. If you looking to invest in quality, give this place try. Aloha, Derek

    Beautiful gift wrapping!

I was wandering around the mall trying to decide on a small gift to get for the girlfriend. The new color is passport plum so I popped into coach to see if they had something. Fortunately, I was able to score the last wallet in passport plum. I asked for some special wrapping and Saori was more than happy to oblige. She went to the back for a few minutes and came out with an amazingly wrapped gift box and bag. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that I really got some high-end gift wrapping because I saw other people with boxes and bags that were a plain brown. My box was black and of a thicker cardboard material with cloth ribbons and even the gift bag was black with a cloth handle. Always pays to be extra nice. Thank you coach and super thank you to Saori for her great customer service.

This is my favorite store to stop by when shopping at Ala Moana. You know you're a regular when you walk in and they know your name. I know that I've gotten to know the associates well enough that they call me Jen instead of my real name, and they call my son by his nickname Trei. Really, everyone there are super friendly and super helpful. Anyway, I went for the Coach Create event which was being held on 10/14/17 from 1-5pm. It was a one time event. After talking to the associates and the leather craftsman Sam, I found that they have been busy all day helping customers design their bags and getting it made right then and there. These designs are in paid additions to the regular free monogramming of the bags. According to Sam if the event goes well (which it looked like it was a hit- the store was packed with people) the company will be doing more of these events. So I brought in my Dinky bag I had bought a couple months ago. Sam went step by step on how to design. He also told me I could make multiple designs save it and decide which one I liked best. I chose the 7 tea roses design, picked the lay out, and Sam had me take a look before he made everything final. Every step of the way they work with you in customizing the bag. They also have different bag straps that you can swap out to make your bag one of a kind. For the event they were giving out cookies and drinks. They were super nice about my son taking a lot of cookies. One of the associate even put some cookies in a small bag for him take home. I found that there's a lot more options to customize your bag with coach create on the website, not limited to the event. Unfortunately because we live in Hawaii shipping can be pricey. I was told if there's something online that they don't have in store they order it. Also you can show them how you want it customized they can do it in store.

    Not practical at all.

My fault for not returning the item within the 30 days but the design on this fannypack that my well intentioned husband got for me is so bad. Cel phone and keys barely fit and the design makes is difficult to get to to your things. This was enough motivation for me to stop buying anything else from Coach and my husband has also been advised to go elsewhere for any future gifts.

Staff is very nice and very friendly. Great men's selection and fairly quality bags for a reasonably fair price compared to other more expensive and sometimes ugly bags. Coach is super underrated and some of their stuff isn't plastered by brand logos.

Can only get it at Coach Ala Moana!

This review is based solely on my experience with the staff during my visit today…read more I've shopped at Pink Box multiple times in the past and have never had any issues, which is why this experience was disappointing. My mom and I stopped in because she was looking for earrings. She had mentioned before that Pink Box has cute selections at reasonable prices, so we decided to browse. While she was looking at earrings and pointing out styles she liked, I was helping her look through them. For context, I don't even wear earrings since I have large gauges, so I wasn't shopping for myself in that section. Afterward, I moved over to the claw clips and was looking through some butterfly clips to see if they came in matching colors. A sales associate approached us and asked if we needed help. We politely said no thank you and continued browsing. What made us uncomfortable was that after that interaction, the employee remained very close to us and appeared to be watching us the entire time. When we moved to a different area, she followed. Whether intentional or not, it felt as though we were being monitored because she suspected we might steal something. My mom and I both noticed it, and it made the shopping experience uncomfortable. We are paying customers who have visited this store before and have never given anyone a reason to be suspicious of us. I understand that retail employees have a job to do, but there is a difference between being attentive and making customers feel like they're under surveillance. Unfortunately, because of that experience, we didn't feel welcome during our visit.

I was hoping they'd have Snoopy too but none at the moment at least. I was so happy that my husband mentioned this place and we ended up here during our last morning in Honolulu. Definitely worth a stop if you're into kawaii, Japanese goodies and stationery, but also could be worth being aware of which characters are currently featured. A lot of the items, such as their various stickers, are reasonably and fairly priced -- more so than other similar shops. Vivid print quality too. Other items were tad too pricey for me to justify (e.g. $8 for a very tiny thin canvas drawstring bag and other small pouches in the $30+ range).

Shopping in Chinatown, Honolulu, Hawaii…read more.. My mom was on the hunt for Year of the Dragon shirts for my sister in Colorado, my nephew, and my nieces. We went to Walmart, Don Quijote, Dillingham Shirt Outlet, and Maunakea Street in Chinatown. She found shirts at Jessica's Jewelryand Gifts, but she didn't get a shirt for my nephew's girlfriend. In a panic, mom called me to go back to Jessica's. They were sold out. Only XL gray shirts were left. I entered Maunakea Marketplace, where I had dropped her off the other day, but she didn't walk far enough in... to get to YaFangShi Fashion. On the day before Lunar New Year, I saw many shirts of various colors and different designs hanging outside a shop! Inside, the clothes were neatly folded, and the dresses were hanging for better viewing. OMG... It was like t-shirt heaven! The shop was called YaFangShi Fashion. The friendly owner introduced herself and said that her name was Lian and that she's been here for 24 years! I had passed by often... and even bought a lavender-colored Cony umbrella, but didn't know the name of the shop. Looking around, Lian even had dresses, tops, jackets, footwear, accessories, and pants! I got a navy blue, medium-sized Year of the Dragon shirt for my nephew's girlfriend and gave it to mom to give to her on Lunar New Year. Everyone was happy! Yay! Happy Lunar New Year of the Wood Dragon!
