The staff here is way nicer than the Sacramento store. Just thought I'd mention that. There was someone in the front of the Ala Moana shop who helped me right away find what I was looking for. I tried a few things on, and checked out with no problems. I love wearing Alo for everyday, it's so comfy. I'm still looking for pieces that stay put during my yoga practice and transition well into weight-lifting. I use that other brand for now. Alo also does not offer any kind of discount, not for military nor law enforcement. Maybe someday. I've only seen sizes in the store go up to Large (about size 14). If you ask for a larger size, they say they'll look, but do they ever carry larger leggings?? So the missing star is for lack of inventory. Hello to Alo! Located on the Mall Level in Ala Moana Center near Macy's is a lovely store filled with all things for Yoga and activewear clothing and accessories. This beautiful shop does make browsing around easy and there's a lot to see all are really simple yet effectively thought out are quite pricey and beyond tailored to my size though as I'm trying to get back into my health and wellness having items like these does make motivation much stronger and positive as quality item like these does make it a comfort beyond the price. The staff here is very friendly and a delight as they greeted me and is standing by with any questions I may have, I do love it here. and will reward myself with several items that I am eyeing and can't wait to be feeling like myself again. This store sells athletic wear. They have some pretty fancy workout clothes. They have tops and bottoms for both men and women. It's kind of pricey though. They also sell shoes, bags, and hair accessories. I'm most interested in their skin and body products. It's all natural without the harsh chemicals. Grand opening on October 6, 2023. Beautiful, clean and uplifting new Wellness and Yoga store. Located on the Mall level, second floor, near Macy's. Clean setup indoors with men and women leisure clothes and fitness clothing. Soft and breathable clothing. The store also has limited fitness equipment. ALO is an acronym and stands for Air, Land and Ocean. It's an all around wellness company per Alex. (Pictured with her permission). Alex is well informed about this company and loves the products! Absolutely in love with ALO and sooo ecstatic that they finally opened up their very first store in Ala Moana! Interior is so clean and it reflects upon the products that they sell - active yoga wear that is clean cut and sleek. The yoga bras and shorts are a must for my yoga practice and for running. In addition to yoga/activewear they also sell their skincare line as well. I had no clue they also made body lotion and face cleansers! All vegan and no harmful ingredients added. Prices are higher up but comparable to lululemon. I like ALO better. LOL I think everybody and their grandma wears lulu. Service was on-point and just ask them for any help if you want a specific style in a different color, they may have it stored in the back. read more

Just had the worst experience at this store. I'm a very loyal Alo customer and this might've just been what makes me not purchase anymore. The worker had black ponytail and the manager was blonde. I never heard of this brand "Alo" but from what I saw, it appears to be a store that Carrie's quality clothing, and I really like the color of the clothes. The store layout is very nice and open, they have man and woman clothing, they carry mostly activewear, yoga wear & causes wears, and they are very fashionable, the material also look nice. Although we did not buy anything in our first visit, I am sure we will stop by again in the future. read more

The new Alo Yoga location in Ala Moana opened earlier this month. The store layout looks really nice and is evenly distributed by color. They offer clothes for both men and women, and also offer skin and hair products as well. There were about 2-3 sales associates on the floor to offer assistance if needed. They seemed friendly and greeted us when we came in, and thanked us for stopping by afterwards. Looking forward to visiting the store more and learning more about the brand. read more

She helped me find my matching set and super helpful and knowledgeable about the materials and yoga since she's a yoga practitioner. Happy we have an Alo store here! I've purchased a bunch of stuff throughout the years from Alo Yoga before this sanctuary existed and before their logo revamp. I've also used their workout app in the past. Although I no longer practice yoga, I still buy their apparel. It's trendy, comfortable and what I find myself living in (kinda like lululemon). I love the airlift/alosoft collections and avoid the airbrush (preferences due to past experiences w/quality). It's so easy to spend $$$ on new drops, especially when the colors are fire. Really bad service here. You would think for a company trying to break into a new market that they would offer great service. It's my pet peeve when you walk into a store that's not busy and the workers just look at you, without saying anything, They just stare and walk in the other direction. I came here the other day while visiting from a different island. The last few stores I've been to and have made purchases, I couldn't get the canvas tote that comes with purchase because they were always out of stock. I own quite a few Alo pieces. Some purchased in store, mostly online. If you total up my purchases, I've spent a hefty amount. So I asked the cashier if I can still get one since they finally have it in stock. She said she can definitely ask her manager to make an exception. The item i purchased this day was less than $100. If you look at my account, you can see that I made a lot of purchases since 2021. She calls her manager over, Lisa. Lisa looks at my account and as she's scrolling through all my purchases she looks at me and says "there's nothing here that shows that you qualify to get it". She tells me I didn't spend that much to get one. Her tone in her voice and her eye contact with me made it known that I wasn't worthy as a customer. I said, "with ALL my purchases you see?" She said nope, sorry you didn't make big enough purchases and walks off. As a customer for the past 3 years and spending a few thousands dollars, i am very disappointed in Alo. Some of my logos on my clothing have even fallen off but they can't even replace it because it's a 30 day warranty and Lisa the store manager at Ala Moana made me feel like I wasn't worthy enough to get a complimentary canvas tote. I am one of Alo's biggest fans since 2020, and I was more than excited when Alo's shop opened at Ala Moana in 2023. I was invited for the opening event, and Lisa has helped since that time. All of the items I purchase fit and look great on me, and I receive so many compliments. Lisa is extremely sweet but also is professional, educated and knows everything about their product so she would answer all your questions you may have. She will also inspire you for what you will need next! I feel so lucky to have someone who can completely trust for my personal shopping and I always look forward to seeing her! I visit Hawaii once a year and I will never come back into this Alo. Their customer service sucks very unprofessional.. I spent $400 and they did not even want to give me my welcome gift that was never redeemed. I was promised next time they have it they would give it to me and because I made my 400.00 purchase a week prior ..they wouldn't give it. The manager they are with the tattoos on her hands is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. She did not even know what she was talking about. She kept saying "I think if you get a birthday gift you aren't able to get your welcome gift. Those two are two separate things. She needs someone to educate her on customer service. This is my first time purchasing something from this brand. The fabric is very good quality! I love that many of the styles are versatile. Some can be worn from yoga to the golf course. I'm especially in love with their leotard because it can be worn as activewear or swimwear. Looking forward to getting more pieces from them. read more

initially when we walked in, we were greeted by the man working in the front. Very polite and sweet, but sadly for the other workers that wasn't the case. 3 female workers who were working on the floor completely were rude and obnoxious. Not once did they greet, offer assistance, or were even decently nice. The blonde girl rolled her eyes when we walked in and the other two girls in the back kept staring at my friend and I while we were browsing. If you are under the assumption that we may not be buying anything isn't an excuse for poor service. You actually are discriminating and judging potential customers. From this experience I'll definitely not be back! Hire better people because they'll be the reason why you go out of business. I worked in retail for years and not once have I ever given this type of service. Sometimes customer service isn't for everyone even if you need workers. read more
