Extremely unprofessional and unhelpful. I received a personal invitation email from one of the store managers, so I called the number provided to inquire about the new collection. The service was appalling from the start. The person who answered was incredibly rude, responding with "Who? Huh? She's not here. You still wanna talk to another manager?" When I was finally transferred, the next person dismissively asked, "Who emailed you?" and told me there was nothing she could do, basically telling me to just "get in line" on the release day. Terrible customer service and horrible staffs. We went there on Tuesdays when to shop pretty empty, only couple customers. Theresa the staff there looked down on my mom and discriminated my mom like poor and wouldn't have money to pay. She didn't bother to help but keep looking at her phone. We asked for size 7 and 1/2 but she told us a display shoes is 7, just try it. She's talking barely look at us. I already got upset when she didn't treat my mom right. My mom dressed not classy but she has her right and deserves to treat right like everyone. We pay for the what we want we didn't ask for free. We went to pay for the shoes, the price went up from $89 to $99. I told the cashier and Theresa to check, they both said $99 and Theresa barely look at the sign of the price mark on the shelf but confirmed it was $99. I pointed to the price $89 but they still said price is $99 and said in the system was $99. This is the trick when they put on the shelves lowered price then when go to pay the price is higher and they would act we are cheap if don't buy. We ended up didn't buy because this is not ethical. My daughter was excited about the Teri Shoulder Bag in Signature Canvas I bought her for her bday in December. I purchased at the Livermore outlet during the holidays. I threw away my receipt as I didn't think there would be any issues with it at all- plus- this was a purse I knew she wanted :) I was disappointed that within only a month the zipper broke. I was worried since I didn't have a receipt, and I wasn't signed up as a coach insider to review prior purchases. I reluctantly walked into the outlet at Great Mall and was immediately relieved with the customer service and kindness from Elsa and store manager Maryann. They were very sweet and helpful- took the time to help me figure out how to look up the prior purchase. I was able to get a store credit gift card for my daughter to use since they did not have the same purse in store. In addition- Elsa helped me make sure we were signed up as insiders to never lose track of any future purchase. Thank you Elsa and Maryann for all of your patience and help. Let me give credit where it's due!! Coach has really stepped up their game when it comes to it's colorful designs and styles. It's been many many many years since I've made a purchase, let alone actually wear anything from this designer but I have found myself really drawn and intrigued by the updated, modern looks. Since I was already in the mall I decided to pop in and check out what Coach Outlet has to offer. I'm all about saving $$$$ and there ain't no shame in my game when it comes to rolling up in past seasonal items. Lmao. The offerings range from handbags, backpacks, clothing, and jewelry. BUT!! If you aren't on the market for a new handbag or two, I recommend stopping by strictly because of their provided shoe game. This area in itself will leave you in awe but as a warning, sizing may be limited or nonexistent depending on your product. I recently purchased this mini camera bag at the Milpitas Coach Outlet store and wore it for the first time last week. Because of the less-than-stellar quality, the hang tag chain broke. Today, I took it to the Milpitas store where I had purchased the bag and a young lady tried to help but the new chain she offered was made for larger bags (the beads on the ball chain were too large). She called her manager over who gave me another one. I told her the color of the chain was not the same. The original chain is yellow gold and the replacement chain is closer to brass color. She did not care and walked away, leaving me hurt and frustrated. I am posting a photo of my broken chain but cannot seem to add a photo of the new, brass-colored chain. The customer service used to be good at this store, but these days, they only seem to care about customers who make new purchases and the name of the associate who helped the customers. The manager never acknowledged me, nor apologized for my inconvenience, and the only things she said to me was for me to keep the broken chain before she turned from me. I went to Milpitas to return the shirt 48 hours later and the woman at the register examined the shirt for three minutes. First she kept saying "is this wet?" Went in yesterday afternoon during rush hour and can't find anything to complain about. I do know I will definitely will be returning here again in the not too distant future. I knew what I wanted so I went directly to the area of display bc I didn't want an attention; not being dressed to impressed. Although I couldn't dodge the quick glance from security guard at door, it was still an easy pass. I didn't look for anyone to greet me so that was another bullet dodged. After a few minutes admiring the new collection of bucket purses, a male rep by the name of John or Jonell approached me to offer assistance and he was genuinely nice. He helped me decide between two colors and I ended up with the latter. Lines weren't too bad at checkout and the cashier I had was courteous and cleaned the bottom of the two pursues I wanted to purchase. Annnd on the way out, the female rep by the door called me back after I had exited the store and my initial reaction was something was wrong. I was called back to check my own purse was wide open and received friendly reminder to close the zipper. It wasn't leather, the stitching was awful, and the bag itself wasn't even that great. Enter Coach outlet. I saw a quality leather tote for a fraction of the price of the other bag. Yes, the outlet sells bags specifically designed for outlets but the leather and stitch work are still Coach quality. When you arrive, there is a line. Wait in that line. It actually moves fast because they let groups of people in at once. They do this to limit the number of shoppers in the store so we all have a fuss free experience browsing, touching, and paying. The strange phenomenon of "knock off handbags" persists. When in New York I experienced the sleazy Canal Street buying "faux wealth" fake handbag situation. Why do that when you can buy the real thing on any budget at the outlet or on sale at the regular retail stores? I loathe dishonesty. Anyway, back on track... I was in the lucky bunch who got an additional 50% off ticket that day. This of course afforded another bag, a leather wristlet, for my younger daughter. This store gets 1 star only because it won't post anything if I don't add at least one. I come to this store because it's the closest to where I live. I have come in maybe twice in the last couple of months. The staff is rude. They don't help you instead they follow you around like your going to steal something. I went in yesterday and the fat manager Crystal with the blonde hair was extremely rude I was trying to return two items and one bag I had ordered to of the same bags and returned one and still had the other one. I wanted to return it because it was to small. The lady helping me wasn't very competent she couldn't even get the order number right and for some weird reason was not comprehending what I was telling her and would not return the bag . Well here comes the rude fat manager Crystal telling me not to yell at the person helping me which I was not doing that she was only telling me what the system was saying. Mind you she was helping a Hispanic man next to me buying a bag. Again acting like people are stealing. He decided he wanted to purchase a second bag and was going to go get it but fatty said no I'll do repeatedly. This just gets worse. I decided not to argue with her about returning the bag and would just call the online number. As I was leaving I was browsing the wallets again being watched which made uncomfortable so I just left completely forgetting I had the wallet in my hand not intentional. I walked out it of course set of the alarm that's when I realized I had the wallet in my hand I gave it back to her apologized saying it was an honest mistake which it was. I LOVE COACH! I like that the moved to this new location because it's bigger, and bigger means more items on display. For an outlet store, they have a good selection of stuff. And always have good sales. I like to come in when they have their 30% off coupon. Yay! Head all the way to the back for the stuff with extra 50% off. I always receive great service. Warren is awesome and helped me with a handbag exchange. I originally purchased a from the Coach outlet website. The one I received arrived with a noticeable scratch/indentation on the turn lock clasp and didn't appear new (leather looked dry). I called ahead of time to asked if he had anymore of the Marlie in stock and he had a couple of the exact color/style on hand. When I arrived he already had them put aside and we did the exchange immediately and I didn't even wait in the sales line! Great service and he knows his products! I found out he's the manager and the store is clean, neat and the displays are full! Go on a day when it's not busy during the week (not weekend) and check it out yourself! Also you'll never pay the sticker price on the tag. The outlet price is usually 50-65% off even on the Coach outlet website. Thanks Warren, I'll be back! The customer service here is not that great. Tagged along with a friend for her to purchase a coat. We asked the associate, May if the item came in a different size or color. She looked on her computer and said no. The girl next to her peeked at her computer and let her know it did. She says I'll go and check. Unfortunately I didn't ask that girl for her name, but she knew what she was doing. Sadly it didn't come in the size or color my friend needed, so she stuck with the original coat. The associate, May asked us if we wanted the hanger. We declined and after checking out, my friend was like we will get it. May told us unfortunately they do not give those out. So. Yeah. We were confused. There was this girl on the other register, named Paola that kept rolling her eyes and making eyes at May. Talk about unprofessional. Came here with my mom to do some Christmas shopping. Personally, I don't like Coach and I've never bothered to shop here for myself, but I know of some friends who enjoy Coach. When I came in, neither my mother or I got greeted here during our duration here. I spent a reasonable amount of time debating on what to get one of our close family friends. I just settled on a clutch. Service had redeemed itself at the end when I stood in line, as an associate glided me over to another counter to pay for the item. Issue : I recently bought a coach wallet and it was damaged and I did not have the receipt and the manager named Gia which I met 2 weeks before told me to come back with the wallet and she would exchange it for free. Went to the store yesterday and the manager named Gia wasn't at the store so one of the associates named Tin helped me talk to a manager named JIO. He was very arrogant, rude and blunt when I told him my issue. Coach is a brand very dear and near to me and my family. We've been using the products since years. Noelle's Yelp Notebook 2014 Post lunch and walking around the Great Mall with my son, mom and grandma we decided to stop at this Coach Factory Outlet. There was a sales associate that instructed us to wait in line until her manager said it was okay to let more customers inside the shop. I've encountered this similar wait in line before you enter the shop at the Paragon Outlets to get inside the new Kate Spade shop. I really find it hilarious that they make you wait in line- it's not like they are on the same level as Louis Vuitton or Prada (in regards to price point). Limited selection and small retail space coupled with their wait in line policy has made this Coach store a "loser" in my Yelp Notebook and I won't be returning. On the upside I was able to purchase a nice purse for my cousin's 8th grade graduation gift. I came here two weeks ago and I wasn't happy at ALL with the customer service. First off, WHERE does it say in the store that you can't take a picture of the merchandise with your smart phone? Nowhere! I had a bag in my hand and was trying on the matching flats to go with it.. I was about to take a picture to send to my cousin because she has the same design and the sales associate says "Maam, you can't take pictures." Um ok.. I looked around and didn't see any signs that say anything about it.. so I was going to text my cousin and she says the same thing.. first off get your info correct.. I told her I was going to text someone and not take a picture and second mind your own business! The sales associates are so much more nicer at the Gilroy, Livermore and Vacaville Outlets. I'm guessing this has to do with a "maximum occupancy" rule, but it's very annoying and this is the only Coach outlet that does this. There's always a line that snakes around the outside of the store. This is so that the store itself is not super crowded. Even if the inside is not super crowded, little Asian ladies are always pushing and shoving everyone in their way. They grab handfuls of merchandise and get in line where they do more pushing and shoving. My question is why do they buy so many? But, that's besides the point. Staff is alright, I've experienced so-so customer service. I've heard where staff gets downright crazy and disrespectful, but it's usually on the little Asian ladies, and I can see why they get like that. When you go return something they check the bag inside and out, every tiny surface of the bag is inspected thoroughly. They almost look like they want to pull out a magnifying glass, just to make sure there really isn't anything wrong with their merchandise. I remember when Coach used to be like wow, now it's so affordable that everyone is walking around with it, it's not even attractive to me anymore. read more

First stop for gifts! When this place first opened it was red carpet status...long lines...bouncers etc. It is still extremely crowded and for good reason! Prices are great, handbag quality is of course through the roof. I remember back in the day when Coach had a grand total of 2 designs (grey with black Cs and beige with brown Cs). Kiss those days goodbye! They have a 20% or so off sale every so often which brings the great prices down even lower. Set up is almost as sophisticated as the standard Coach store and that is easily accounted for by the explosion in inventory! I am a huge fan of little purses, wallets and clutches and there is no shortage here! Designs range to suit ladies of all ages.
