This place has a lot more items than other Coach Outlet stores! All the new stuff is placed in the front and they have a system going on where they have people lined up outside to keep the store from getting too crowded. It works! Everyone goes crazy in there! I am EXTREMELY disappointed in Coach. I ordered the a bag in Oxblood online during Coach's 50%-Off sale in November. When it arrived from the San Fransisco location, it was Black NOT OXBLOOD! I called the phone number provided online and was informed that I should have been called by the store, told that the color I ordered was no longer available and that my order should have been cancelled. Instead, I was sent the bag in Black ANYWAY! UNACCEPTABLE! I will be returning the bag for a full refund. This place is a bit overwhelming and getting some help on a busy day might be a little tough. They do cater more to the Asian customer who come and buy by the loads to resell back home but you can more or less tell which SA is approachable and willing to help you. The staff at the register is much nicer , super sweet people. They have enough inventory where you can count on seeing new pieces almost every day. Great deals things are usually 50% off if not more sometimes they have additional discounts. read more

Great selection of purses at a great price. I stopped by here after going to Gilroy the previous day. To my surprise they had the purses I couldn't find in Gilroy. I purchased 3 purses - 1 for my Mother and 2 for me. Total with tax was under $300. I definitely saved between 50 - 75% from retail price. Let alone the long line outside the store and at the cash registers, they are rude to the shoppers. Last year when I went there to return a bag, I was bored in the line. Then I used my iphone to capture the price of nearby bags. A female manager showed up and threatened to kick me out if I do it again. In comparison with Coach stores in Vacaville or Gilory outlets, this one has the least selection and worst discounts. I would give zero rating if it's not close to my house. read more

It's been a while since I came to great mall. It's too far and i usually order online but I am sending packages for Christmas and my family wanted Coach so I ordered online and at the store. I am so surprise how very approachable and nice the associates are until i went to the cashier, she doesnt seem to know her items. If I can I want to MINUS 5 stars!! I spent $728,28 for 5 bags and 2 sun glasses, the cashier said she could only give me a big bag for all the items. After I told I needed at least 3 for the presents to 3 different people, she said only two and that's an exception already. I asked to talk to the manager, at first the manager said NO too and told they were running out of bags and needed to save them for other customers. I was very upset and replied back loud "RUNNING OUT OF BAG IS YOUR PROBLEM, NOT MINE. I need one more bag or I would not leave." She finally agreed to give one more. Everything was on sale today! Everyone was very helpful, having people roam around with a calculator helping us figure out our totals. Mel was the best though, checking us out and helping is figure out the totals, with and without certain items. He gift wrapped for us and was very patient. I was carelessly killing time by going to the Great Mall and noticed a sign on the floor... "Coach Factory in Unit 2". Where the heck is this 2?! It turns out it's to the left of Forever 21. This is definitely smaller than the Gilroy Outlet's Coach, but Coach nonetheless. Some of the workers were friendly and greeted you, but honestly, I didn't care much. It was nice looking at the extra 20% or 50% discounts. I was contemplating buying a purse here, but decided that I should save it for another day when there is more money lying around, or when I have a little pay raise to celebrate. It's nice to know that I no longer have to go to Gilroy for my Coach cravings. The styles are different from the Gilroy ones, I'm really not sure which has the more recent style, but does it really matter? The purpose of buying a Coach is to have that "forever" in style kind of look anyway. read more

Service here is pretty poor, I came in near opening time and there wasnt that many customers in the store. Never got greeted and was ignored pretty much the whole time. I finally just asked for help since they keep a lot of their selections in the back. The guy came out like 15 minutes later after checking the back stock and told someone else what they had. I ended up having to chase him through the store to see what they had in back. Not a big fan and with the selection they have for men is pretty slim, better off just going to the coach store. Even with all the commotion and requests, Mary helped me look up some obscure purse I had in mind and found it in San Diego and went through the details of how to order it in store. Shitty customer service.... the employees should know there products. I purchased a Wallet that came with a card holder inside this cashier I believe "Jay" was his name takes it out and goes and asks another employee if it comes with the wallet, that other employee says no. So he tells me they don't come together and I'm like okay and he doesn't even offer for me to buy that other piece at that point I'm thinking he probably thinks I'm trying to steal that piece.. my friend that was with me mentions to the cashier that all the wallets had came with this card holder and so we show him where it's at and he sees for himself that they do in fact come together and an employee near by that section mentions that they come together!!! I honestly felt kind of embarrassed I felt like they were basically thinking I'm a shoplifter andddd they should know there damn products!!!!! I almost bought a wallet with a missing piece that's ripping me off right there?! I'm rerating since there's a big improvement for customer services. All their staffs are helpful and friendly with "smiles" when I went in recently. There are crazy female shoppers here I have to admit & there have been times where there is a line to enter the place. I came here with my mom and OMG, there where crazy women clustered in the clearance section like they where giving free bags away! There where people there grabbing, clawing, and giving dirty looks. Why? To get a ugly funky colored bag that was never in the actual store? There where so many rude people here, bumping into you, snatching away something you where reaching for etc. The staff was very nice, but a little annoying, I have the same associate come up to me and tell me her name at least three times while I was there for less then 10 min. Make sure your ADP TOTAL PAY CARD (that doesnt have your name stamped on it because its a direct deposit card from your work) is signed BEFORE it enters the store or the girl with the glasses named ALESSANDRA will not accept it. Let me just say that when I stepped foot into this store, I almost cried cause everything was on sale, and I had zero dollars to spend. This is probably one of the few Coach stores that make you wait on a line to get into the store. I don't blame them though, they definitely need the crowd control. I've never seen so many people buying bags like they were candy. The day I went, they were having some crazy sale (additional 30% off) on top of their regular sale, and I saw some people buying 10-15 bags. For Coach, these prices really can't be beat. For those who want to avoid the Asian madness going around, it's damn near impossible. Asians love deals, and from what I know, most of them like to buy on the cheap and sell them for a higher price. But in the end, if you're a Coach addict, or if you have to shop for one, this is definitely the place to go. read more

On the weekends, expect to wait in line to get in. It can get chaotic inside so I think it's good that they control the crowd. It's a great place to buy gifts as they have a good price range of items, especially accessories (wristlets, passport holders, business card holder, wallets, cosmetic bags, etc). They always give you 20% off coupons so no need to print any at home. Most of the items are decent quality, but stay away from some of the ugly prints. Staff is friendly and the back wall has nice purses that make good gifts. It's styles from years ago though. I got a wristlet for $30 a large purse for my mom for $120 and a matching wallet for $50. Last week, I stopped by the store just to browse around and I did not find anything I like at all. Coach logo handbags are not the same anymore like it used to be back in the early 2000's. I like the coach brand and have seen that the quality can be good. But I am not so sure about the quality of the customer service. The store at Great Mall is a prime example of how a rude and incompetent customer service can hide behind a good brand. I took in a purse for an exchange and had the original receipt that had turned black in parts. The barcode and the price were still readable though. When I pointed out the problem with the paper they were using for the receipt, the store manager refused to acknowledge it as a problem at all and moreover refused to honor the exchange at the price I paid for the purse. This was really a very unpleasant experience for me. Anyone out there who wants to do exchanges, please make sure you save your receipts and ensure they are not turning unreadable (black) in some areas. This store needs to have better customer service and use better paper for their receipts. Very disappointed. read more

Good location in the mall, but most importantly unbeatable prices on clearance. I find sometimes such last pieces for $30 a piece, that I won't be able to find anywhere else - especially if it's leather. Due to it's location, it can be pretty packed with people and there's a line just to get in - make sure you go during off hours time. I love coach products! read more

This place is crazy!! The lines and the people who are anxious to buy coach bags for a cheaper price are never a good combination. I think the Coach outlets used to be better back in the day when they actually had more items from the regular stores at a discounted price. Now, they have super cheap bags that don't make it to the regular stores because it's either a hideous color or the build of the bag is not up to the normal Coach standards. It's pretty easy to tell which bags are specifically made for the factory stores. Look at the tag, anything that says "factory price" or has two printed prices that shows the regular price and a discounted price are a reject bag that wasn't good enough to be sold at the regular stores. I NEVER purchase those bags. Although I don't really shop at Coach anymore. They have good quality items, so I shop at the regular stores and outlets from time to time. A trick to get the items sold in the regular stores at the outlets is to go early, and also talk to the sales people. They should be able to point those items out to you. If they don't know what they are talking about, talk to another person. Also if you are looking for something in particular, in a different color, or in a different size, it doesn't hurt to have them check in system because they have shipped things to my house for free. However, if you are on the hunt for those rare regular store items at the outlets, I would suggest going to the one in Carmel. They have a better selection, and it's not as crowded. People will not trample you or push and shove you to get what they want like at the outlet in the Great Mall. I've also had a few purses and a jacket shipped from Carmel which means they have a better selection. read more

Long store short - store claimed 'sales price' was switched by the customers. Online price says otherwise. Thought I'd like this location better that now the men/women sections are connected, which means your total purchase from either sections will add up for specific coupon amounts. (They never fail to amuse me when other locations lets the consumers add up purchasing amounts from the men's and women's sections to hit a certain amount for the mail in coupons, while this one simply doesn't.) My last trip a couple days ago really proved that this location is simply not up to par and really need a makeover on the staff as well. After standing in line for 30 minutes to pay for my items, I found out that the bag I had just paid for was more expensive than the sales sign on the table. Of course, I went back to the cashier and was told the sales lady that "helped" me never told me a price for the bag. (Of course, not. Maybe it was my fault, that I remembered the wrong sales persons name. Honestly, I can't remember how many people came up to tell me their names and if they could help with anything.) Regardless, I showed the cashier where I got the bags from on the sales floor with the price tag on the table. Then we waited at the register while the cashier asked for her manager. The response/excuse I heard was beyond me ----- Oh the price on the table was incorrect (okay, that's obvious isn't it?) "a customer must have switch the price signs on the table" "This happens a lot"---- are you kidding me?! How is that my problem? While you have so many sales folks on the floor asking everyone if they needed help, why not check to see if your sales signs are correct? I was in the store for more than an hour and no one noticed that it was incorrect / + someone actually told me the price. If this "happens a lot" shouldn't the staff be trained in "updating" the signs?? After their 2 liner excuse of the "wrong price sign" I no longer wanted my items and proceeded to return them/exchange for a different bag. Then the manager/supervisor showed up and told the cashier that to ask us to step aside if we aren't done in a couple of minutes! If your signs were correct, then I would have grabbed a different item to begin with instead of YOU wasting MY time! To top it all off, I saw the price online today and guess what...your sign was correct and no one switched it! I've had some below average experiences from the store, but this was a first. read more
