Been to Rome. This is better not kidding. From the time the mozzarella sticks touched my plate I knew that this pizza was serious.

Walked in on a Saturday at about 12 and wasn't busy at all, which was nice. Location is in a plaza, so parking wasn't hard even on a busy day a few weeks before Christmas. We were just going to get a light lunch, so we only tried the pizza. we ended up going with the 16" crab pizza for $27.45. I think the price was a little bit much however I do think the pizza was very good!! I would like to go and try other pizzas. It was fired perfectly on their wood fire stove.

Came here on a Saturday for a quick bite with the family during lunchtime. The restaurant wasn't that busy so we got seated right away. I ordered the chicken tender kids meal for my son and we got a pizza with pepperoni and banana peppers. I also ordered their Coal Fire salad with grilled chicken on top. All was very delicious. We love Coal Fire pizza and this was our first time at this location. Service was great - would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a quick bite.

Their coal fired pizza is one of my husband's favorite pizza in Frederick so we visited for happy hour and dinner. It was great food, and great time. The bar is pretty small, so it was packed in early Friday afternoon. We had a great time and we will visit again.

The place was bright and inviting when we arrived and were seated quickly with menus for food and drinks. Serve arrived immediately to take our drink order and ask if we had any questions. We ordered the Lasagna Pizza and the Garlic Shrimp Crostini and had only a short wait until the appetizer arrived at the table. It was nicely presented, and plenty for 2 to share. The shrimp were cooked perfectly atop the grilled crostini with seasoning and sauce and were an excellent start to the meal. Within 15 minutes the pizza arrived which was out of this world good. It had the perfect char, consistency, flavor and chew to eh crust and with it being thin the flavors of the topping really stood out. The table had Parmesan and crushed red pepper flakes but we had all asked for sides of sauce to ago along with the pizza. The sauce arrived between the appetizer and pizza - (2) 2oz soufflé cups with cold pizza sauce. This being the reason the experience is only 4 stars instead of 5. We were not told the sauce was an extra cost. I still would have paid for the sauce, but would have liked it to have arrive warmed and in a 4 oz ramekin or monkey dish instead of cold soufflé cups. That being said it's a minor blip on the radar and certainly not something to not stop by to enjoy dinner, but more so a way for readers to understand that if they ask for something extra, then should also ask if there are additional costs associated.

While searching for a go-to pizza place, we tried out Coal Fire. We stopped in on a weekday evening and were quickly seated but the table was very sticky. It wasn't busy so the pizza came out quickly but it was a little too done for our taste. Perhaps carry-out is better.

Great service, fresh hot food that came out super quick, drinks were on time and the waitress was friendly.

Stick with the pizza. We order burgers, they had no taste and there is no way those burgers are 1/2lb. Fries undercooked.

Ordered a pizza for take out. Olives, onions, sweet peppers. It was wonderful! Crust was thin, chewy and slightly charred. Loved it!

Authentic juicy delicious Chicago-Italian-Beef-Sandwiches and Chicago Deep-Dish and Thin-Crust…read morePizza! If you've ever seen the delicious food shown on The Bear, or even better if you've had the food recommended by Everyone in Chicago, then like me, you have been searching Maryland for authentic Chicago-Italian-Beef-Sandwiches! *** (I'm a little excited here ;-) These are NOT Philly cheese-steaks ... Please, no cheese on these! No fresh-"salad" on the sandwich! No onions! And these are not French-Dip ... These have better seasoning and softer bread. These are made with very-thin-sliced beef (imported from Chicago :-), just thick enough not to fall apart when slowly simmered in delicious seasonings including the tiniest trace of hot spices. The Italian roll is soft to drink up lots of juice, or to soak in juice if you order it "wet", which is a Chicago thing. The bread just has to hold together for as long as you are holding on. This place makes it savory and perfectly, and the manager happily gave us additional juice on the side. I love this sandwich with softly simmered "sweet" green peppers, or you can get with "hot" giardiniera mixed pickled veggies, either one is authentic, and this place uses the Rosati's brand which has a nice kick to it. I got it with a side of fresh hot thick-enough crispy fries, like i used to have at Johnnies west-of-Chicago. It's a filling 6-inch sandwich. This is heavenly! This is the branch of Rosati's that makes it's pizza-sauce fresh on-site, and uses delicious crust and sausage brought in from Chicago. I brought home a frozen deep-dish pizza. Dinner tonight! This storefront is 0.2-miles east of US-15, off 7th Street at Fairview. It's in the middle along the east of the large parking lot. This place is sparkling clean. There are two tables totaling four seats, for dining in the restaurant, which we did. There's a coin-operated candy machine for a handful of skittles or m&m's. The manager is friendly and accommodating. A real nice experience!

I ordered takeout, but I will say that I did not realize in advance that the place would be basically a pure takeout with only a single table (albeit one that was well-attended during my visit). I've been to several of the big players in Chicago. The pizza here smells right, the sauce has the tang you'd expect. The crust didn't quite hold up for me, making for a messy pizza and not the most impressive flavor. Ordering a spinach pizza was a good decision as the spinach was abundant. A salad was robust in size, though they did not have my first choice dressing. A tiramisu made a nice divergence on a later date. They made two mistakes with my order, giving me a garlic bread with cheese that I'd ordered without, and not giving me a side of sweet peppers that I'd ordered. These weren't huge enough to make we want to drive back there to get corrective action on. Overall, I got the deep dish pizza I came for, and if I really had a hankering I could see ending up here again, but there are certainly areas for improvement.

It's retro with exposed brick walls and large screen televisions. Our server was very sweet, personable and professional. (I'm so sorry, I forgot her name.) We shared appetizers, calamari, fried perfectly along with eggplant Parmesan. Both winners. For entrees, I had the meatball hero, stuffed with well seasoned and sauced balls of deliciousness. My wife had the gyro served in three pieces of pita (on a taco stand). Not only spiced well, but NOT the usual mess with tzatziki sauce and cut chopped tomatoes spilling everywhere. Our friend had the salmon and he was impressed. For dessert it was gelato for two and I had the affogato. Sinful, the whipped cream seemed to have a little more sugar than normal, but it made the dessert that much more decadent. If you live in Frederick or are just passing through...recommended.

Oddest part was while we sat there - there was a 2 top table free almost the whole time we were eating. So - we could have easily been waited on in a normal setting. Nice place overall - different areas to sit, outside dining, etc etc. Service however was atrocious. It may be the fact they don't have enough people in the wait staff, but our waitress was as absent as it gets. Asked for a refill, took forever - after ordering appetizer it would have been good to then put in our entree order - but wasn't until the pizza came out 25 min later that we could do that. Asked for bread, she remembered after our entrees came out 45min after ordered - 4 small cubes. You would think when you're struggling at waiting on a table, you'd try and make up for it. Pizza was good. We got a Margherita pizza - standard and fresh as we watched them make it. For my entree I got the penne vodka and added a meatball. Lol. No sauce on that meatball and it was cold. Flavor was good on entree. The next time the waitress came back I begged for the check - to which we paid and got out of there as "quick" as we could. Food 4/5 Service 1/5

I had driven two hours and was hungry, but I was also committed to making good decisions. Or at least mostly good decisions... The hostess offered me a seat at the second-floor bar rather than the quoted 25-30 minute wait. Great! Solo diners love surprise upgrades. Unfortunately, when I got upstairs, the one "available" seat had apparently been claimed by a diaper bag and a giant straw sunhat belonging to the woman sitting next to it holding a too-little-to-walk baby sitting at the bar. Uhhh...this isn't going to work. Back downstairs I went. I gave them my name and number, found a shady spot outside, and settled in for what I assumed would be a long wait. Five minutes later, my table was ready. Thank you, Universe! My server greeted me with water immediately, explained the QR code menu situation, and told me not to order through the app because she'd be right back. No worries, friend. I'd already done my homework. I knew exactly what I wanted. One Martha Stewart's Prison Pizza ($22), please. (Sausage, broccoli, ricotta, Calabrian chili peppers, lemon oil, and sea salt.) I asked for the chili peppers on the side because I know myself. I like adventure. I don't enjoy possibly setting my mouth on fire. And a Diet Pepsi ($3.50), because balance. While I waited, I people-watched, which is one of my favorite hobbies. White Rabbit was PACKED. The patio was full. The downstairs bar was full. Upstairs was full. Couples, groups of girlfriends, older folks, younger folks, families, solo diners...everyone seemed happy to be there. The place itself is pretty small, which explains the wait. Six tables downstairs, maybe eight bar seats, more seating upstairs, and a constant dance of servers carrying food through the same front door customers use. Add the "please wait to be seated" crowd gathering in the narrow hallway and I'd describe things as organized chaos. But once I was seated, I was perfectly comfortable and out of the traffic pattern. One cool touch I noticed: outlets and USB ports built right into the front of the bar. Maybe that's common and I've somehow missed it all these years, but I thought it was pretty neat. Then my pizza arrived. Oh good lawd. OH. GOOD. LAWD. This pizza was SO GOOD! I knew from the first bite that I was in trouble. There was no sauce, which surprised me at first, but after approximately three seconds I no longer cared. The sausage was plentiful. The broccoli added texture. The ricotta was creamy and rich. And that lemon oil?! That lemon oil set it off! Everything just worked together perfectly. The Calabrian peppers arrived on the side exactly as requested. I bravely sampled a very small amount on my fork before desecrating my pizza and quickly determined that folks with stronger heat tolerance than me will absolutely love them. They were just a little too spicy for my delicate tastebuds. Thankfully, the pizza was incredible without them. And those slices? MONSTERS. I ate one and seriously contemplated a second before reminding myself that I had dessert plans elsewhere. A box was requested. Self-control was exercised. Barely. As a solo diner, I also want to give White Rabbit extra points. Multiple staff members checked on me throughout the meal. I never felt forgotten, rushed, or weird sitting by myself. Everyone was warm, kind, and made me feel completely comfortable. I really appreciated that. My total bill came to $32.44 including tip which felt really reasonable given the amount of pizza I consumed and brought home. Worth every penny. I'm already scheming my next two-hour drive back. Maybe a smashburger. Maybe those Brussels sprouts everyone keeps raving about. Maybe another pizza. Maybe all of it! I highly recommend checking out White Rabbit. Make it a destination, not just a stop while you're in the area. Don't let the size of the place or the wait scare you off. It's totally worth it. PRO TIP: If you park in the Church Street Parking Garage, look for the staircase labeled "STAIR 3." White Rabbit is literally right outside the door at the bottom. No hide-and-seek required!

All of their pizzas look really unique. Table next to us got the one with a lot of pepperoni on it and it looked very good too. I reccomend parking at the Church Street Garage to access the restaurant as it's sort of hard to find parking. Interior was quaint and conservative and our waitress was amazing and very sweet.
