Invoice with item one received does not meet coast appliance website.

I am seriously disappointed with my recent repair parts purchase. I ordered a screw kit qty 50 and received qty 01. Called Coast Appliance and was disconnected (Hung Up) twice. When finally talked with Charles in Parts he stated the advertised item was incorrect and I need to refile an online return. I don't feel I am responsible for their website. I want my money back and an apology. Michael J.

There is a fee just to have something checked which is fine. However, you have to wait for days for said check up. I had a conversation with the owner trying to build a community rapport. He brought politics into the conversation and it went all the way to being accused of being a "communist" just because I am a liberal. This guy seriously needs to retire or sell the business even his staff seemed oppressed. He went as far as telling me that he knew there were no other repair businesses around. I would rather buy a new appliance than deal with this guy besides I would sleep better. A piece of advice avoid this business at all cost. He is combative, rude, dismissive, condescending. I believe he makes the most money just from Service fee than actual repairs. Wish there was a negative star option!

Got it back same day aswell and best of all, they did it at a fair price . Far better than other places I have had my appliance looked at before. Wasn't even sure if I should even try to fix as my washer is 4 years old and I know some places charge so much for repair not even worth it but they got it done at reasonable price and it's working great now. I'm comfortable knowing they gave me 3 Months guaranty on their work . Thank you Señor Julio. Fernando Yanez-

He was very professional and honest, he recommended to buy a new refrigerator since it was 10 years old and it was going to cost to much to fixt it with parts and labor. I will highly recommend this company.

Please be aware before you make a decision for an appliance service call of $95!…read more My refrigerator compartment was not cooling as it should but the freezer was working fine. Online information said it was probably a fan that moves airflow from the freezer to the fridge. Maybe a motor or a control board. The service tech came to my house to look at the fridge. This took about 10 minutes. I had already pulled the fridge out and had it ready to be checked. The tech just pushed some buttons on the fridge controls and read out a code within minutes. Nothing removed or taken apart. Based on the code, the cost for repair would be $824! Not to mention that the warranty would only be a few months. I could have done the same thing with the buttons and gave him the code to avoid a $95 service call. He could have then told me that he would charge me over $800 for the repair. Not too happy to be charged over $500 an hour for diagnostic work. People think about this before you commit to a $95 service call fee! I bought a new side by side refrigerator/freezer for $1100 (with 10% off coupon) from Home Depot.

We had a very good first experience with Mr. Appliance. As promised, they contacted us the day…read morebefore to set a time window for their technician, and he was on time. We were getting an error code on our dryer, and they told us the name of technician who would be arriving, and a picture as well. He contacted us when he was on his way, which is a nice courtesy. Andy is skilled in customer service as well as appliance service, and he represents the company very well. The problem was likely some blockage in the dryer itself due to lint buildup, but also might be in the exhaust hose to the outside. The initial visit was $149, and we were told that when making the appointment. For $51 additional he would open up the dryer and vacuum out built-up lint that may have accumulated over the years, and we opted for that, to eliminate that as a problem. He did a very thorough job, but also we are going to have another company clean out the vent since lint buildup is a serious fire hazard. They aren't cheap, but with cheap you often get problems. For us the price was reasonable to have it done right.

Unbelievable nickel-and-diming from Mr. Appliance. I hired them to install a washer and dryer that…read morehad been in storage, and the upcharges piled up instantly. While the basic installation fee was $250, they charged me an extra $75 just to slide the existing machines 10 feet out into my courtyard because management hadn't moved them yet. On top of that, they heavily overcharged for the new installation kits (braided washer hoses and a gas dryer line). To cap it all off, the technician left the dryer door swinging open the wrong way, completely blocking the opening to the area. Now, as a disabled person, I have to awkwardly maneuver and dance around the door just to get into it and use the machine. When I called to ask them to fix this basic oversight, they wanted to charge me another $150. For a job that cost well over $500 with parts and fees, basic attention to detail should be included--not treated as an opportunity to squeeze more money out of a customer. Total price gouging for careless work.
