I found House Of Hearing by looking in YELP and reading most of the comments. I found that this institution and all the staff were extremely helpful and educational. They made you feel comfortable and answered all my questions directly without hesitation. I am 76 years old and this was my first hearing aid. After reviewing many options I decided to go with the Resound hearing aid. I was told that this works with Bluetooth (I still don't know what that means), But it enables me to control my hearing aids through my iPhone. I can watch television and have the sound come directly into my hearing aids, and not disturb others by having the sound turned up very loud. I can also adjust my hearing aids when I am in a restaurant, or just speaking to someone individually. The price of the hearing aids was a little higher than I expected, however, it was competitive with prices at other locations. It helped that I was given a discount, and that my insurance also picked up about 25% of the price. There was no charge for follow up visits, Which are needed to make adjustments to the hearing aids, which were done on the computer. The staff at the House Of Hearing are excellent. Dr. Margie, Jeff and Lisa were all extremely helpful, and very educational. I waited for a while before posting this review, as I wanted to see how the hearing aids worked out., and as I said before these are my first hearing aids. It took a little while for me to adjust to the hearing aids as they felt extremely foreign In my ears. However, after a while I began to adjust, and now i forget they are there. Overall, this was a very positive experience and I sincerely recommend House Of Hearing for anyone with a hearing loss or needing hearing aids. read more

Once Coastal took over House of Hearing, all customer service went downhill. I bought Resound brand hearing aids and they are a lemon! The old staff worked hard trying to get them working properly but I eventually gave up and bought Costco. 75% less and they work better!
