    Grilled Shrimp Salad

The grilled shrimp salad was amazing! I don't know what seasoning they put on those shrimp, but it's truly the best shrimp I've ever had. I much preferred it over the fried shrimp, which is frankly shocking.

    The Maine.i.ac with rice

It is a great place for fresh seafood offerings. Bistro feel, full bar, friendly service. Knowledgeable staff answered questions without hesitation. Enjoyed the "Maine.i.ac" sandwich with rice. A grilled cheese with 3 strips of bacon and lobster salad. Oh my! The lobster pieces were ample mixed with a light touch of mayo. The bacon was cooked perfectly and not the thin salty mess, probably Applewood smoked or hickory. They offer fried, grilled, Cajun, or lemon pepper for their seafood of shrimp, clams, oysters, and scallops. They have chicken and a nice selection of salads as well. Their version of dirty rice was well seasoned with Old Bay. I was pleased with it as my side. The atmosphere was pleasant with Christmas music at the right volume. I'd eat here often if I lived close.

The Clam Chowder was probably the best I've EVER had & I've had many! I would come back just for the chowder. I really wanted the whole belly clams but they were sold out. I order the crab cake & the Crab cake was the worst I've ever had ...flat as a pancake & no lump crab.

Haddock lemon pepper Pompadour with sandy rice

Thursday late night dinner (8:15 pm) we decided to patron John's restaurant. Staff was cordial and greeted us with a smile, even though we were walking in 45 minutes before close. We enjoyed, their lemon pepper seasoning on shrimp and haddock Pompadour with sandy rice(very good with the fish). Both were hot and delicious. We will be back!

Definitely a local business as many locals were at the bar discussing life in PI. Seafood was good for the price. Couldn't help staring at the ship in front of me.

The PIT is especially exciting when they have a live band playing outside, and I love the fact that they have both an inside and outside bar for patrons to use. As for the food and drink I got, my margarita wasn't very good, but my pepperoni pizza was immaculate! I'd say it was among the best pepperoni pizzas I've ever had. I was also very impressed with our table's server, who did a great job of both delivering our food, as well as staying calm amidst the chaos of a packed house. All-in-all, Pawleys Island Tavern is a Litchfield staple that's a must-visit every time you're in the area. I would highly recommend you stop in when you get the chance!

They had a few different bars that you could order at, with the main one being inside, another little hut outside, and a cash bar next to that. They also had a pretty cool live band, with a viewing patio right in front of the stage. In regards to my visit to Hot Fish, I'd say I was most impressed with the bartenders at the establishment, who did a great job under pressure. Even though the place was packed, and especially the bar area, they did a great job of remaining calm, and even got our drinks out in a relatively quick period of time. They also made some awesome blue Gatorade shots, which were some of the best shots I've ever had! I didn't necessarily love that there were cops standing guard at the entrance, but the bar's own security staff and bouncers were really nice, which isn't something you see at every one of these places. The only downsides to the Hot Fish Club were that many of the plastic chairs in the outside area were broken and cracked, making it kind of hard to sit a large-sized group like ours (they had a lot of wooden tables, but they were all taken), and that the restroom situation was awful. According to the girls in our group, the actual, physical restrooms were disgusting, forcing them to use the giant line of porta potties. This isn't a huge deal for guys, but it was a little uncomfortable for the ladies. Other than that, Hot Fish was great, and I'd highly recommend stopping by!

The place is lively, and has ac inside to keep you cool in the summer heat. They give you a nice basked of bread when you arrived and large drinks. I ordered the shrimp appetizer for dinner and it was so good. I didn't leave a single bite for leftover. My daughter got a burger and it was pretty big for kids size! It also came with fruit which was appreciated. My husband got the po boy and also enjoyed it. The server was very friendly, helpful, and took time talking to us. We started with a carafe of blood orange mimosas. The flavor was great! I would've liked a little bit more chilled but nothing a little ice couldn't take care of. I went with the grilled Romaine salad. What an awesome choice. The Romain was grilled to perfection and topped with a lot of crumbled blue cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, pistachios, bacon, and blueberries. The fried oysters we're served to the side of the salad and they were not too heavily battered and made a delicious compliment to this amazing salad. The warm Maple bacon vinaigrette was absolutely delicious. I will not be just passing by this pace anymore - it actually might become one of my regular stops!
