We recently bought a used Ford F150 and the vehicle only had 1 factory key fob. Worse yet, the master key fob, which we did NOT have, had been used to program the truck to limit vehicle speed, stereo volume, among other things. So the key fob we had could not be used to unlock the truck's performance and stereo system. I called around several Ford dealers in the area in order to get a master key fob made for our truck. The three I called were either reluctant, or clueless. But all of them quoted me a whopping $365 to create a master key fob!!! Ridiculous! I ended up calling Abe at Coastal Locksmith in the hopes he could help. I wasn't disappointed. On the same Saturday morning I called, Abe got me set up with a second key fob that removed our truck's restrictions. This required not only cutting a blank key, but programming the key fob's chip to work with our truck. So for less than half the price of what the local Ford dealerships were going to charge us, we got full access to our truck's performance, along with a second back up key! Called to rekey existing locks on MAJESTEC security doors. I was attempting to key all the locks so one key would open all the doors and ensure no one else had a copy of the keys . I was informed by a competitor (ALH Security) how easily the existing locks, could be picked or bumped.
