Best Nail Place in Ventura! I've been coming here for 8 years, and I can honestly say this is the best nail place in Ventura! Cindy does my manicures, and she is consistently the best! She does an amazing job every time and always makes great suggestions when I'm trying to choose a new color. I've also had Helen, Tammy, Yumi, and Sally do my pedicures, and every single one of them has been wonderful. They are all professional, thorough, and truly take pride in their work. And I can't forget Kevin, who never fails to greet me with a smile. He is always so friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel like family the moment you walk in. I went here December 7, 2025 for myself and my daughter to get our nails done it is exactly one week today and my nail just broke right under the French tip. Not only did it take the lady who did my nails over almost 2 hours to do my nails but when I went to pay she charged me $75 for each of us and when I only included a $4 tip she asked me for more but that was all the cash I had. I have never been asked for tip andI have never paid that much for French tips the quality was not great the lady seemed like she was barely learning. I will never go back to this place. read more

I went to this nail salon because it was close to my house. I had Kevin do an acrylic fill with gel polish. My nails on my thumbs' polish bubbled up. I went back the next day and had them repair them. They bubbled up again and one of my nails popped off. The entire salon is dirty, including tables, UV light nail cure machines, the floor. I will never go back there. Im deeply disappointed and suggest whoever monitors them for state licensing goes in and checks it out. None of the technicians spoke to me during the process, they even had me wash my hands and told me not to use soap. I've never ever been told not to use soap when washing my hands. I believe Michelle did my nails the first time I visited this shop on December 4, 2021 and she did an absolutely amazing job! Little did I know, I was going to be proposed to that same day (sneaky best friend made me go to get our nails done for her birthday!) I went back a few times after that, and still they did an amazing job! I just recently went to get my nails done on September 8, 2022. I also asked at the end of my service if anyone was available for a lip/chin wax (I usually do my own waxing but I didn't want to ruin my nails) I most definitely would not recommend waxing at this shop. The lady that was waxing me was very nice, but as a licensed cosmetologist, I instantly knew she had no idea what she was doing. I left with minor irritation on my face, swelling, and rashes. This place is okay. They generally have availability, and there is plenty easy parking, so convenience is key here. Quality of work is a bit uneven. Cannot recommend their waxing as they use the hardest wax regardless of the work to be done. read more

Extremely over priced $80 to get your nails and toes with gel. They never go a good job. I've been a total of 3 times considering it's close and Convenient to come here.. hoping it was just the person that helped me which wasn't the case. I gave them hope and never wanted to write a review because I'm not that kind of person. However I payed $87 this time to have my nails and toes look like this.. one of my nails is even extremely crooked. Just take the time to drive somewhere else. read more

I go in what use to take 90 minutes takes 45 at best my cuticle's will never be the same my fingers are butchered not to mention coat after coat of a pink that just looks like pepto bismal That's rite YUCK !! $30 for a half-ass pedicure. The nails are not shaped uniformly, she barely scrubbed my feet, my pinky toe still needs to be cut, and she didn't paint the front tip of my toenails. Waste of money. Maybe I had the wrong nail tech but the young girl that worked on my pedi seemed a bit timid with the foot massage as she didn't apply too much pressure and it only lasted for a short time. My friend next to me seemed like she got the better deal as her massage was twice as long and we got the same package. The paint job on my toes are questionable as my tech had to re-do my color after applying layers and layers of color making one foot so thick that I was afraid it would never dry in time and just bubble up. The place became very busy right after we arrived and people around us were very upset as they waited a really long time. One couple left without the hubby getting his pedi as no one was available for him (although they both made an appointment). I think I'll skip this place for now. read more

I was happy with my acrylics when I left the salon but when I got home, I noticed I had a nail lifting at the tip. Over the next few days it became several. I got the acrylics taken off and there were painful grooves drilled into my nails from where they'd drilled my nail plate when they originally put the nails on. Google "rings of fire on nails" to see what I mean. I didn't even get a fill, I just got the original full set and then got them soaked off with acetone, I have no idea how they drilled my nails like that. It must've been when they were smoothing out the back by my cuticle. It hurts and now my natural nails are damaged, will look like this for a long time while it grows out. Every single nail is like this. They also did the same at the tips of my nails but that's less visible and will grow out more quickly. Upset. read more

I can't speak more highly of this nail salon. The people who work here are professional, thoughtful and kind. My husband and I started coming her a few month ago, together. Something I never thought would last. Justin is FANTASTIC with men's pedicures, making my 'guys don't go to nail salons' hubby feel right at home. The salon is well stocked, clean and has massage pedicure chairs. I've not ever gone away unhappy. Yes, a shop in a busy strip mall with an even busier parking lot, but I highly recommend. read more
