I bought a coupon for this place on Groupon. My expectations were pretty low but I just needed my hair out of my face. I had been going to Floyd's for years but after a less than mediocre job the past three times, I decided to look for a new place to get my hair cut. I bought the coupon for cut and single process color. Frida was my stylist and colorist. She is bubbly, funny, and makes effortless conversation! I liked her a lot as a person. But as a hairstylist, she is a goddess! I swear to you, my hair has not looked so good in at least 10 years. She cut my hair with such precision and still made it a little bit rock 'n' roll and funky. They definitely have a new client in me! read more

I won't be coming back to this salon or recommending it to anyone because I felt as though I was cheated. I booked online for a haircut and partial highlights and the price very clearly said $75, so that's what I expected to pay, especially since my hair is so short. I was with Frida and she was very kind and friendly, but without asking if I wanted these added services or without letting me know that they would cost extra, she applied toner and gave me a blow-dry. First of all, she didn't do a good job with the toner because she left it on for 5 minutes. When I left the salon, my hair looked incredible yellow, despite my having told her I wanted ashy blonde. Since the color looked so bad, I had to go purchase toner and apply it myself after my service, and then it looked much better. Second, when blow drying my hair, she destroyed my scalp by burning it and pulling my hair really hard. I was literally jerking away because my scalp was being burned. For a burnt scalp and yellow hair, I had to end up paying $40 extra. When I voiced my discontent about the price, she said that I should've asked about the price before starting. Isn't that their job to tell you? Many salons include toner and blow dry so I legitimately didn't think I'd be charged. What's super frustrating is that if you try to access the price menu online, it doesn't exist. It feels like they were making up the prices as they go along. I had to argue so much even to get the $75 price that was shown to me on their own website. They didn't even honor either of the coupons on their Yelp page for new clients. My haircut was about the only thing I liked. The highlights, on the other hand, went all the way up to the top of my scalp and she bleached all of my lowlights too, which make them look orange. She should have asked me before doing because now when my hair grows out even an inch, it's going to show and not blend in. I definitely won't be returning. I went in expecting to pay $100 with tip and paid around $140. And a tip to the salon, don't offer Yelp deals if you don't plan on honoring them. I checked in but was not given the discount. If I'd have known this is how much I was going to pay or that they would be dishonest, I would have gone somewhere else. read more

I had an AMAZING experience here! I came in to get a Lob hair cut and to thread my eyebrows and the ladies that helped me were super awesome and talented! I have curly hair, so finding someone to cut my hair right, let alone cut my hair into a Lob right, is ridiculously hard, but Nairi (I think I spelled that right) cut my hair perfectly! She was so on point and asked all the right questions and did an amazing job! Anyone with curly hair needs to go to Nairi! I wasn't sure about getting it done because I was worried about the safety of my natural curls, but Lilly is so knowledgable and took such good care of me. My results were mind blowing. It typically takes me 45 min. to an hour to straighten my long hair but after getting this treatment, it seriously takes LESS THAN 10 MINUTES! Insane! What you see is what you get. I had an appointment with Lily Rose. My hair was breaking. Gray and lifeless. She absolutely had me in awe. I left there a new person. The cut she gave me was one of the best I've had. The color came out beautiful! My hair had bounce and shine and she has this magic trick for getting rid of some split ends! OMG!! Worst most disgusting salon I've ever been to. First of all it smelled like garlic mixed with ass because one of the ladies that works there was eating middle eastern food in the middle of the salon. Then as I'm waiting I see the same lady take wet towels off of the stations and hang dry them. Shortly after I started getting my service I noticed her use those same towels on other people. I don't think this lady has a license since she didn't have one up on the wall. Mind you she was eating and doing hair at the same time. The stations did not have sanitizers at them which made me wonder how they clean there tools. Next I couldn't get the full highlights experience because there was no dryer to apply heat to my highlights. All while the lady that was eating kept walking passed me staring at me and making me feel so uncomfortable. 100% will NEVER return to this shithole again. Very unprofessional. And not a fully equipped salon. I don't know why they opened a business if they could not run one. read more
