    Chicken Gyro wrap

Outstanding Middle Eastern restaurant in Half Moon Bay. I've been here many times -- had the chicken gyro wrap, the chicken shish kebab wrap, and the falafel wrap. All were excellent. Portions are huge! I love everything about this place. Great food, great service, very clean and pleasant restaurant. The people are very friendly. Come here and enjoy delicious food!!

Food was great nothing on the plate was sub par. Huge portions, 1 plate was enough for 2 people. Service was good , they brought out extra plates without us asking. Fast service . Would revisit.

The food here is amazing, I am so glad I stopped by! I love Mediterranean and have had a lot that isn't flavorful, and this place exceeded my expectations with how delicious it was. Not pictured and worth trying is the pistachio pudding, I rarely order dessert but I'm so glad we did. I'd definitely come back!

    Kunefe

Amazing Food! The kebabs were absolutely delicious, the kunefe was incredible, and the falafel was honestly the best I've ever had! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Definitely coming back!

My first visit. Lunch on a weekday I had the fried calamari it was absolutely perfectly fried. I had the tartar sauce and it was very good as well. I would recommend this although it's a little pricey but so is fish in general. I will come back to try the Falafel next.

Stopped the new Mediterranean restaurant on 92/Main St. it was great for just a few days being open. They even have alcohol available. We have the appetizer plate and the mixed grill. They also had Vostra Prosecco for me and Josh Cab for Kev. Everything was delicious. Something's were spicy for me. An interesting display of desserts that I was not too familiar with. That might be our next visit. But, it was a great place to stop at a the rain started to pick up.

yummy! I'm always come back to this place with my partner, they have great service and great food as always. I got branzino and my partner got the chicken swish .

Clean space, and not empty during lunch rush on a Friday.

As much as Mazra is great at/known for their meats, they also put so much thought and care into their vegetables. For example, our favorite mezza is their Whole Cauliflower, which is a massive cauliflower head that's roasted and then coated with a lemon tahini dressing. (They also give you more lemon to squeeze on it.) The cauliflower always comes out perfectly roasted; the inner parts are tender and toothsome, while the outer parts are crispy and a deep, golden brown. Another great vegetable option is their Veggie Plate, which is a plate overflowing with delights on a bed of their rice: falafel; a segment of their cauliflower; roasted broccoli and potatoes; their saffron mushrooms; and a halloumi roll. Each item is about as perfect as can be, and the sheer quantity makes it a fantastic deal. Of course, we still love their shawarma plates, which you can get with either chicken or steak shawarma. The meat comes thinly cut and tender, and somehow still a bit juicy! The plates are also a great value, since they come with a ton of great items that pair well with the meat. These include a rich, savory sauce (toum [garlic sauce] with the chicken, tahini with the steak) and two of their amazing sides. My favorite sides are the baba ghannoush (creamy and earthy) and their fries (golden, crispy, and pillowy). They continue improving the space, too. The pickup window makes it so much easier to get takeout, and they've really dialed in the flow of the inside and back courtyard seating areas.

It was packed at 5:00 p.m., which seemed like a great sign, and it has the feel of a solid casual Mediterranean restaurant. We ordered the beef kebab dinner and the falafel dinner. We requested the beef be cooked medium rare, but when we got home, it was closer to well done. Unfortunately, the beef was quite tough and difficult to eat. We were hungry after our hike, so we ate it anyway, but it was disappointing. The falafel dinner was a little better, though nothing particularly memorable. I was surprised given the high ratings, but after reading more reviews afterward, I noticed others had also mentioned that the meat can be overcooked. Since we usually order takeout, I probably wouldn't return because it's too much of a gamble if the meat isn't cooked as requested. It's unfortunate, as the restaurant was busy and seemed well-liked, but this visit didn't live up to our expectations.

The hummus was creamy, the chicken shawarma was flavorful, and the bread was so good I briefly considered putting it in my pocket for later. The Adana kebab had enough spice to remind me that I still have functioning taste buds, while the lahmacun was essentially Turkish pizza, but which raises the obvious question: Why haven't we been doing this all along? So far, so good. My stomach was optimistic. Then things became a little less heroic. Some dishes seemed to have been prepared by completely different kitchens that weren't on speaking terms. The mixed grill arrived looking like it was preparing to support me through the apocalypse. There was so much food that I started making strategic decisions about which items I would eat now and which ones I would leave behind for my imaginary second stomach. Esp when I was able to make last minute rezzies (an hour prior) and they had wide availability. The indoor dining room was packed and about 90% of the ample outdoor seating was filled. The house music was bumpin' and with the purple lighting inside, the whole vibe reminded me of Fluid Lounge in the city (iykyk). Sister resto to Roma Antica, Bottega, 'Napizza, and The Rustic in the city and Capri Lasagneria in Burlingame, Mykonos has been on my list to go to since they opened in 2020. For Burlingame standards, I found the Greek + Med fare with a full bar, to be fairly priced. They do charge a 4% hospitality fee. F O O D * Complimentary Pita Yea, it's commercial but hey, it's free and it's served warm and toasty. * Saghanaki: Pan-fried Kefalotyri Cheese w/ lemon + oregano ($14) Flamed tableside, the saghanaki makes for a great TT/reel with cheese pulls but it was just meh. It was very salty and the cast iron pan wasn't hot so the cheese quickly cooled and hardened. * Octopus w/ Greek-inspired chickpea puree ($19) Sous-vide then finished on the grill, the octopus was tender but could have used more time on the grill for a hotter temp and deeper char. The bed of chickpea puree was dry and gritty. * Lamb Riblets w/ lemon + oregano ($17) A generous portion of meltingly tender lamb riblets (5-6 bones) but I wasn't a fan of the indistinguishable brown sauce it was finished with. * Braised Lamb Shank w/ orzo & myzithra cheese ($34) A hearty comfort dish perfect for sharing, the braised lamb shank was perfectly cooked...so rich, tender, and savory with a pleasant gamey flavor. The accompanying orzo with olives was overly salty. S E R V I C E Awesome hospitality and customer service - our server was so kind, gracious and attentive with the warm manager checking in with every table. Considering how packed they were, our entire order quickly arrived and we were done in 35 minutes. A M B I A N C E Looking for club vibes? Sit indoors. Want a quieter meal with people watching? Sit outside at either the parklet, sidewalk tables, or side patio. Overall, Mykonos knows how to do lamb right! I found the food to be more reliant on salt for my preference, as I enjoy more traditional seasoning with herbs, spices, garlic, lemon, etc. 3.5 stars rounded up for the great service.

We went with his suggestions and he did not disappoint! For two people, we shared the following two items: * MEZZE PLATTER - hummus, babaghanouge, falafel, tabbouleh, and pita ($19) * BEET SALAD - roasted heirloom beets, carrots, goat cheese, honey thyme vinaigrette ($18) For our entrees, we had the following: * BEEF SHAWARMA WRAP - lettuce, sumac onion, pickles, tahini sauce, mixed greens ($19) * ROASTED SALMON - pacific salmon, turmeric rice, grilled broccolini ($29) Food was absolutely incredible. Fresh ingredients, simple preparation, Mediterranean fusion, and assembled thoughtfully without compromising nutrition. I am a fan.
