This is my favorite Thai food that I've had in the whole peninsula! My favorite dish to have is the drunken noodles with tofu. I've tried many other items that are just as delicious. The egg rolls, spring rolls and curry puff are all divine. One of my other favorite parts is the fresh coconut water with tender coconut. It is so amazing! Staff is prompt and helpful. The ambiance is always lovely with nice natural light, decorations, music and a clean interior. I can't wait to try the whole menu.

I was rolling with my uncle in his rocket ship from San Francisco to Half Moon Bay where we saw an amazing performance of live spoken word poetry in English, Poetry in French, and accompanied with guitar with electronic music. Afterwards we checked out the beach for a hot minute and rolled here. Spice Me Thai Cuisine was quite alright. I recently was in Thailand. I spoke basic Thai with our servers who were kind hailing from Thailand. My uncle and I are both vegetarian. He is vegetarian and I am vegan. We both loved that many options on the menu offer a clearly marked vegetarian option. Easy enough to make it vegan. We both went with the drunken noodles. He had it with egg. I had no egg. We were able to add tofu at no additional charge. We both enjoyed it and was a hearty portion. My uncle gives it 3.5 stars. I give it 4 stars. He is a tougher critic than I perhaps. One suggestion for improvement would be more vegetables. Thanks Spice Me Thai Cuisine for dishing up tasty Thai cuisine in Half Moon Bay with heaps of vegetarian options on your menu!

just wanted to update since I've been here a lot since my first review. First off, unfortunately I don't think the Pad See Ew is gluten free- I'm a very sensitive celiac and I did get sick. BUT, there are lots of other gluten free options that I've had and have been fine; yellow chicken curry, chicken sate', spring rolls, and Tom Kha - chicken soup (amazing! and amazingly consistent - it hits all the right notes and a friend and I share a bowl every time we go) to name a few.

My friend was craving Thai food so we stopped by to try this place. The food was delicious and service was fast and a little too friendly. The server teased one of us which was funny but also a little mean. Maybe that's why the food tasted good. We were a little humiliated making us want to stress eat. Anywho I got the pad Thai. Large servings and very savory.

I stopped by around lunchtime so I tried their #3 lunch special spicy basil chicken with egg fried rice. All I can say is WOW it was so fresh, flavorful, and delicious! The inside of the restaurant is very clean with nice decorations. I was served by Panwad and her team & they were very nice and hospitable. I definitely recommend you try them out whenever you're nearby!

My friends and I enjoyed our dining experience here at Spice Me! I decided to branch out from normally getting Pad Se Ew or Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles). I usually make larb at home but I decided to order Larb Sed which has duck which is not offered in a lot of Thai restaurants I've tried, nor have I ever thought to make! It was SO good. The only criticism I'd give is that I didn't get extra big pieces of romaine lettuce; the lettuce was cut small into like cups. The larb was on top of a large piece of lettuce so I found it interesting that I did get any more bigger pieces. The larb was surprisingly not too greasy with duck and probably my favorite larb I've had so far! I also liked the different spice sauces that came with the table. They each brought a different type of heat for spice lovers. It is worth a mention and to recommend the curry puff! Unfortunately I did not get a picture as my friend ordered it and it was demolished quickly, but the bite that I had was SO good. The pastry was perfectly light and the filling was so good. It's perfect for vegan/vegetarians as well. I'd love to come back and order that again. Highly recommend if you love Thai food!

After years of coming to Half Moon Bay, I never knew there was a Thai restaurant downtown. It's just off Main Street and I happened upon it during the pumpkin festival parade as I was circumnavigating the crowds. They are very welcoming and service stayed on point despite being extra busy during the festival. Every table was full but our food arrived quickly. I got a cup of the Tom Kha soup-best I've had. The flavors really came through nicely. I also got the tofu spring rolls-those were average but fine. When I packed up half to go, they made sure to send me off with a side of their peanut dipping sauce. Tables were spaced very close together but overall, because of their high ceilings, it didn't seem to cramped. They were festively decorated for Halloween, which was a nice touch. Great place in HMB that I'll need to try out again. They do have lunch specials during the week that looked like a great deal for those visiting M-F.

On our most recent trip to The Ritz Carlton, Half Moon Bay, Spice Me Thai was recommended by the concierge and valet, when we asked if there was a Thai place in town. Spice me Thai is in Downtown HMB. The service was excellent from the moment we stepped foot in the restaurant until we paid our bill. No wait to be seated. The food was AMAZING! Clean, fresh, quality, delicious food. I had the pad se ew with beef and my husband had the spicy basil chicken. Both plates were great! My husband ate his whole plate. I can't eat that much so luckily I had left overs. The restaurant is simple. No frills. Homey ambience. Pricing is very reasonable and the portions are generous. There is plenty of free parking. We will definitely be back. I'm already craving it. I highly recommend trying this place out. You will be glad you did. Bon appétit!

Best Larb Tofu salad I've ever had!! The service was very good and people were friendly and welcoming. Ambience was cute, the restaurant was also really clean. Prices are also reasonable. I am 100% coming back!

Shrimp coconut milk soup!! Taste so so good!! No lie!

I don't understand what the haters are talking about. So far me and my wife gone to this restaurant and haven't seen those issues that they speak of. Food is wonderful, service is amazing and overall vibe is on point. Will definitely be coming back to this place everytime we are in half moon bay or the area. For those reading this, disregard the hating because this place is wonderful.

    Soup

OMG!! The coconut soup was SO RICH and flavorful, I savored every spoonful and didn't want it to end. Then came my server recommended dish Spice me clay pot with seafood and honestly the menu description does NOT do it justice!! It had a broth at the bottom that was absolutely LOADED with flavor explosion. I usually add heat to every dish and I just didn't want to because it was so so perfect just the way it was!! I want to eat this every day!

Great food and service, really sweet owners! My wife is Thai and she loves it here. We come from San Francisco just to eat here!

No wait to be seated and very friendly and attentive staff. The Tom kha was to die for!! So yummy and delicious. It had nice chopped veggies that were cut in small enough pieces not to choke you - which is sometimes hard to come by with soups. The pad see ew noodles were perfectly cooked and soft. I got the chicken version and it was pretty good. The chicken wasn't over cooked or anything but I wish the dish had been a bit spicy. It was as mild as possible

Located in a bit of a run down plaza off Homestead in Cupertino, there is ample parking but I was a bit skeptical pulling in. There is a kiosk in front and you can add your name to the waitlist. We were seated after a short 10 min wait. It was busy (on a Friday night) and the staff was moving efficiently to take all the waiting orders. We ordered the Fried Tofu to start. Wife got the Green Curry (mild) with chicken, mother-in-law ordered the Pad See Ew with chicken and I tried something new with the Kua Kai with Crispy Pork. Also added in a Singha which came with an ice cold glass. Food came out quickly and the tofu was crispy and the sauce was enjoyed by all. My dish was the star and we all loved the stir fried flat rice noodle and the crispy pork! The green curry spice level was good for us but kids passed. The Pad See Ew was pretty solid but similar at most places. Really enjoyed the Thai chilis in garlic and vinegar. Enjoyed this place so much, I came back a few days later for lunch with my colleague. This time got the Pad Woon Sen and he got the Pad Kee Mow both with Crispy Pork. Would say it wasn't as good at lunch since the Crispy Pork was a bit over and chewy. Still was enjoyable and has me wanting to come back. Spice levels seem pretty fair, I don't handle spicy much but enjoy a bit. Looks like you can go much much hotter and I think spice lovers would enjoy! Happy eating, until next time!

My friends had better luck sticking to the classics (pad see ew, pad kee mow). The tom yum soup had too much lime flavor and they're stingy with the prawns. There was a line both times I've been and it's quite crowded. The wait isn't too long ~15 minutes. There is only indoor seating and it is HOT in there. They don't serve cold water which is disappointing. There's a boba place next door so grab a drink during the wait!

Owned by a winner of a reality cooking competition, it makes sense why it is priced at a premium, and with that follows pleasantly attentive service, innovative dishes, and comfy seating. I found the food to be generally pleasant, and the only thing that is unpleasant is their proximity to the train station that interrupts conversation on an intervalized basis. Old Siam - I see the vision of this luxury take on an old fashioned, which is flavorally accurate. I think the garnish is a bit too simple beyond the block ice to properly convey that look. Roti Mataba - Intriguing dish as I've never seen roti used to encapsulate before, but its smart as it creates a flaky exterior that pairs incredibly well with the curry sauce. Pad See Ew - Large portion of a classic dish that is served on the lighter side but still tasty. I would clean up on the presentation though. Mango Sticky Rice - Beautiful arrangement of mango sticky rice that shows great knife skills of the mango. You can see the heart shape starting to form of the sticky rice as well, which is beautiful. I think it coild be even more advantageous to use rose to dye for a more warming color palette.
