We went in for lunch on a Saturday and were seated immediately. What I loved the most in the menu is that you can order soups by the cup for 1 serving, 2 servings, or 4 servings. I've never seen this option at a Thai restaurant before, so for being the only person who wanted to order soup, this was the best option! Our order was the duck spring rolls, fried chicken and fried rice, and the tom kha goong (seafood) soup. The food came out fairly quickly and was all delicious. The Tom Kha soup was also a lot more spicy than any other Tom Kha that I've had in the past. The total came to be around $46 before tax and tip. There is 1 all-gender restroom. This is my favorite Thai food that I've had in the whole peninsula! My favorite dish to have is the drunken noodles with tofu. I've tried many other items that are just as delicious. The egg rolls, spring rolls and curry puff are all divine. One of my other favorite parts is the fresh coconut water with tender coconut. It is so amazing! Staff is prompt and helpful. I was rolling with my uncle in his rocket ship from San Francisco to Half Moon Bay where we saw an amazing performance of live spoken word poetry in English, Poetry in French, and accompanied with guitar with electronic music. Afterwards we checked out the beach for a hot minute and rolled here. Spice Me Thai Cuisine was quite alright. I recently was in Thailand. I spoke basic Thai with our servers who were kind hailing from Thailand. My uncle and I are both vegetarian. He is vegetarian and I am vegan. We both loved that many options on the menu offer a clearly marked vegetarian option. Easy enough to make it vegan. We both went with the drunken noodles. He had it with egg. I had no egg. We were able to add tofu at no additional charge. We both enjoyed it and was a hearty portion. My uncle gives it 3.5 stars. I give it 4 stars. He is a tougher critic than I perhaps. My friends and I enjoyed our dining experience here at Spice Me! I decided to branch out from normally getting Pad Se Ew or Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles). I usually make larb at home but I decided to order Larb Sed which has duck which is not offered in a lot of Thai restaurants I've tried, nor have I ever thought to make! It was SO good. The only criticism I'd give is that I didn't get extra big pieces of romaine lettuce; the lettuce was cut small into like cups. The larb was on top of a large piece of lettuce so I found it interesting that I did get any more bigger pieces. The larb was surprisingly not too greasy with duck and probably my favorite larb I've had so far! I also liked the different spice sauces that came with the table. They each brought a different type of heat for spice lovers. It is worth a mention and to recommend the curry puff! Unfortunately I did not get a picture as my friend ordered it and it was demolished quickly, but the bite that I had was SO good. The pastry was perfectly light and the filling was so good. After years of coming to Half Moon Bay, I never knew there was a Thai restaurant downtown. It's just off Main Street and I happened upon it during the pumpkin festival parade as I was circumnavigating the crowds. They are very welcoming and service stayed on point despite being extra busy during the festival. Every table was full but our food arrived quickly. I got a cup of the Tom Kha soup-best I've had. The flavors really came through nicely. I also got the tofu spring rolls-those were average but fine. When I packed up half to go, they made sure to send me off with a side of their peanut dipping sauce. Tables were spaced very close together but overall, because of their high ceilings, it didn't seem to cramped. They were festively decorated for Halloween, which was a nice touch. On our most recent trip to The Ritz Carlton, Half Moon Bay, Spice Me Thai was recommended by the concierge and valet, when we asked if there was a Thai place in town. Spice me Thai is in Downtown HMB. The service was excellent from the moment we stepped foot in the restaurant until we paid our bill. No wait to be seated. The food was AMAZING! Clean, fresh, quality, delicious food. I had the pad se ew with beef and my husband had the spicy basil chicken. Both plates were great! My husband ate his whole plate. I can't eat that much so luckily I had left overs. The restaurant is simple. No frills. Homey ambience. Pricing is very reasonable and the portions are generous. There is plenty of free parking. Must try for all Thai food lovers! I ordered the yellow curry with shrimp, garlic rice, pad see ew, and crab fried rice. All of which were amazing in flavor, presentation, and such generous portions! I love how they offer garlic rice, which is an Asian culture specialty! There were chunks of garlic I was so happy to see this on the menu it was perfect. I also ordered the green Thai milk tea which not many Thai restaurants have so when it's in the menu it is a MUST! It's a crossover between an iced matcha & Thai milk tea...AMAZING. After a long drive to Half Moon Bay, we were looking for a plack to pickup dinner an Spice Me popped up on Yelp and looked like it had good reviews. It was close to our AirBnb and is pretty centrally located to Half Moon Bay. I couldn't find a website, but luckily their menu was clear in the pictures on Yelp! My husband and I eat Thai often, and anytime we try a new place we order our "go to-s" which is Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles, both with Tofu. They had a lot of spring roll options as well, so I opted for the Fresh Veggie spring rolls because I always love the peanut sauce that usually comes with them. And of course I couldn't resist a thai iced tea :) It was easy to order on the phone and they said everything would be ready in just 15 minutes so I headed out promptly. The restaurant was easy to find and I was happy to see parking right out front. I went on a Sat night around 8pm and there was plenty of street parking spots available. The restaurant was not busy, so if we had wanted to dine in we would have been able to sit at a table right away. The order was already ready when I arrived, and paying at the register was quick and straight forward. The thai iced tea tasted good, it had a pretty strong tea flavor and I was picking up on one ingredient that was heavier than the rest but I couldn't quite put my finger on what it was. The fresh veggie spring rolls were tasty, lots of greens in them so plenty of crunch. I was a little skeptical of the peanut sauce at first because it was so orange, but it was very good! I would happily eat that all day. The pad thai was also good, pretty standard and I probably would have liked a slightly stronger taste for the sauce, but the tofu tasted very good and I liked that they included a lemon. My husband's drunken noodle was not as traditional as we normally received, it had tomatoes and lettuce included. He also said the sauce was a little bland for him. The masaman curry was awesome, but I would prefer a stronger peanut flavor in the peanut sauce. The service was fast and the food came out quickly. Our group split the bill onto two credit cards and both left a 20% tip. After double checking the bill we realized they had already added 20% for a large group. So we ended up tipping a lot more than we needed to, which was a bit annoying because it would have been nice if they would have mentioned it when the brought the check.
