Infinity Shoe Repair is the best!! I often pass by on my way to the doctor because it's down in the subway train entrance and exit. As I walked past today I remembered I need an additional hole in my belt to hold my pants up! The very nice young man said they can take care of it and he didn't charge me. He said for something like that there's no charge. The hole is in the exact spot I told him and it looks very professional. I'm definitely going to check my other belts and make sure I give him a tip next time. I'm highly recommending for shoes and a shine too. This definitely appears to be a Mom and Pop business. He took the belt to someone in the back who made the hole. There's a young lady who is ready to assist and was busy working on a pair of ladies shoes. I brought my husband's Timberland shoes to repair some stitching that had come undone; the owner looked at them and said, "this shoes have to be at least 18 years old" and he was right! My husband bought them in Argentina about that long ago. When I picked them up I almost didn't recognize them. The stitching was done perfect, clean, and shined! They looked nearly brand new. They also repaired the zipper on my Duluth crossbody leather bag (as the company wouldn't do it), cleaned it, and oiled it. The service is timely. I was on my way to another leather repair shop but Infinity was literally right in front of me during my commute, so I decided to try it. I went over w my broken Prada strap for my two way bag and got it fixed! I told them I was hoping that it could be done the same day. He said it can be done, which was great! The wait time was about an hour. Not sure if they specialize in luxury bags, however I did see luxury items in front of the desk, so I took a chance. I'm slightly afraid that it'll lower the value of my Prada bag, but .... This is not something I enquired about Overall, I'm happy with my results! read more

Came across this place written by the Manhattan's CM Ruggy. Needed to shine my boots in time to celebrate Chinese New Year! I followed the address but couldn't find the store at first. I had to call the store and it turned out that it's inside the subway station (go down the E/F station on Lexington between 52nd and 53rd St and make a left). Once I got there, I was greeted by the owner and friendly staff. To be honest, I've always shined my shoes myself so this is my first time having it professionally done. The job took about 10-15 mins. The front of my right boot chipped a bit and she fixed it for me. It's $10 for my long pair of boots and I tipped the lady as she did a wonderful job. I have been getting repairs at Infinity Shoe Repair since 2008. I no longer work in the area but travel from far away to get my repairs at Infinity. Hector and his staff always provide top-notch service! They have worked on my Louboutin's and Manolo's. I have had suede and shearling boots cleaned there. They have done all types of complicated repairs for me from replacing entire soles on boots, to patching up boots, and reconstructing my favorite pair of sandals. They even replaced zippers on my Longchamp bags after Longchamp refused to do it saying it could not be done because the inside lining was cracked and broken. I am such a fan of Infinity Shoe Repair. I am so happy I came across them in my research for quality shoe repair in NYC after moving here roughly 2 months ago. I had thrifted some boots that had quality infrastructure, but there was a hole in one of the leather soles and they were a little worse for wear on the leather upper. In merely two days, Infinity turned my boots around looking brand new with rubber half soles and a SUPERB shine job for less than $60. I had another pair of moc boots that I brought in after dropping something on them that removed the stain in a couple of places. Again, they made them look brand new, cream soles and all, and for less than $40! They are friendly, affordable, and efficient. I will continue to take all of my shoes here for all shoe care and would trust them with my highest quality designer shoes. The only quirky thing is their location. They are located in the 51st/Lexington station near the entry for the F/M trains. It can be a bit confusing to find your first time, but any MTA employee can usually point you in the right direction. read more

Beyond thrilled with how my Tory Burch riding boots were repaired by Infinity Shoe Repair on Lex. The heels and soles were totally destroyed from the salt from last winter, and the shape was completely warped from the water damage. They replaced the entire sole, added a heel that was the perfect height (VERY close to the original) and polished them up to look like new. Best of all, these were ~$500 boots and the whole thing only cost $55. Also, you can't beat their midtown location. They are just a little hard to find because they're located IN the subway. I've been bringing my shoes here for years, ever since I moved out of Astoria and stopped going to my guy there. I've brought shoes and boots in for repairs/replacements on heels, soles, zippers, and general shine and clean up. I've also brought leather bags that need cleaning or repairs. They've never failed to fix anything for me, even the couple times they told me they weren't sure what I was asking could be done, they did come through! The price is always very fair, and so far they've always been willing to have the shoes ready when I need them. Further, they are just the nicest people, seriously. From the owner, the woman who may be his wife, to the younger guy behind the counter, and all the guys at the shoe-shine stands...unfailingly friendly, helpful, and just a very positive vibe all the time. I always smile coming in here. This store is in the Lexington/51st/53rd St stop on the 6/E/M (down the stairs at the SE corner of 53rd and Lex), so it was on my way from Brooklyn to my office. I've since moved and use a different subway stop but go out of my way to bring my shoes here when they need work. read more

My very meticulous MD at work told me this place does the best shines in town. I trust him. Heel bottoms - $8 Other places in Manhattan charge me $20 to put the two rubber things on the bottom of my heels once I get to the silver metal. Thus, I usually send them to my Grandmother's old Italian shoe guy in the Bronx. Not anymore! For $8 (left $2 for tip), and a 5 minute wait, they fixed them! I didn't trust just ANY place with my Prada boots so naturally, I jumped on Yelp in search of a place in Manhattan for cobbler help. One, I needed my shoes stretched. Second, parts of the leather on the heel were peeling off. The store is underground right before you actually swipe into the E/M line. The young chap that helped me was super polite and helpful. I came back a week and $45 later, my boots were perfect! I came back again yesterday for a shining and some minor wear and tear fix-me-up and 15 minutes later, my boots are presented to me in perfect condition! I also brought a pair of heels that were too big on me and the young chap glued some "cushions" on them and the shoes no longer slip! Tip: if you're in between sizes, take the smaller pair and come here to stretch them out. read more

The people that run this shop are extremely professional and the pricing for their services is extremely fair. I love the friendliness of the staff and they always go above and beyond. I've gotten so many pairs of shoes repaired here - heels on boots, stilettos, toe repair / replacement, shoe polishing, etc. The pricing is better than any other shoe repair places I have been to. Sometimes if there is a really simple repair like if something just needs to be glued, the owner will take care of it for me for free and just ask that I leave a tip in the tip jar. Infinity replaced the heel caps on three pairs of high heels for an extremely reasonable $10/pair and had them ready for me the next day. They initially offered to have them ready that same day, but I said there was no rush. I picked them up the next morning on the way into work as they're conveniently located right off the 53rd St. entrance to the E/M/6 trains, which is directly across from my building. Couldn't ask for more! I've maintained multiple pairs of high and not so high quality shoes at various shoe repairs over the years, and this place is by far the best. They're reasonably priced for Midtown Manhattan, open super early (6:00 a.m.), the guys are friendly, and they are QUICK. My previous shoe repair would take about a week to have my shoes ready for me and charged slightly more for the same services. read more

$8 for full boots. I sat at the second chair from the door. The manager said it would take 10 min to shine my boots and the shoe shiner spent 20 minutes! This was my very first time getting my shoes shined so take my review with a grain of salt! Shoe shining seems like a looot of work! First they polish with the black color, brush the boot, beat the boot, and more scrubbing, and even glue the scrappings of leather starting to come off the boot again! After 20 min of work I thought my boots looked excellent (esp since I've had these boots for over a year and this was the first time I've seen them glossy!) I smiled as I got off the chair! Getting your boots shined atop the big chair is similar to a calf foot massage haha! Credit card for transactions $10 and up. read more

I found myself unexpectedly needing my shoes resoled, and fast. I read all the other yelp reviews and decided to check out Infinity for myself. Well the rave reviews were spot on. Was everyone super nice and respectful? Absolutely, but let's talk turkey. Within 40 minutes they resoled both shoes, added front and back taps, and gave each shoe a thorough shining. Both the workmanship and materials are good quality, and the whole thing cost $56 - significantly less than I've paid for the same job elsewhere. I have gone here numerous times for various work on my pumps (i.e. resole, heel replacement, shine, all over refurbishment). I'm always very pleased with their work on MY shoes. Unfortunately my husband's dress shoes were a different story. I brought them a pair that needed to be resoled. They looked great when I picked them up, but after only a couple of months they fell apart (Note: He only wore them a handful of times for this to happen). When I took them back for a refund, the manager was apologetic and insisted to give him another chance (for free) and he'd also provide me a credit for my original payment. I obliged, however, the second attempt was a failure as well, and the shoes came apart again within a month or two. Unfortunately I'd only suggest to visit here for women's shoes. read more

They have replaced the shank in my favorite Michael Kors leopard print pumps, cleaned my Stuart Weitzman reserve suede boots leaving them pristine as the day I bought them. They have taken in the shaft of my Sam Eldeman tall leather boots to narrow them beautifully to my calf. They have added rubber soles to leather soled shoes to save me in the wet and winter months. I have even had them change the color of suede and leather shoes that I loved, but whose color had faded. It's like getting a brand new life out of a beloved pair of shoes.
