I've lived here for 7 years, for the age of units are great, Alyssa always great she had to deal with renovations and her team was always on point Ivan maintenance supervisor and Jake his assistant were always on top of everything. Amanda came after all renovations were done she was Always prompt and she will always follow through. Amanda's team was great Ivan the maintenance supervisor was always going the extra mile to fix any problems and he will always find a solution. Dominic at the office was excellent when Amanda was at corporate. This property is great. Con's not enough parking if you have more than 2 cars Pros you are closed to everything , I have rent a house in the past and if ac breaks you are looking at 3 days minimum. I read some bad reviews but they were a number of years ago. I was skeptical about moving in because we were coming from out of state and I could not really check the place out in person (neighborhood apartment etc) I have lived here for a month or so and decided to write a review. I haven't personally experienced any of those things talked about in the negative reviews from years ago and I think it is under new management. Pros: - Grounds stay maintained and clean - Maintenance fixes issues immediately - Neighborhood is nice and safe (low crime) - Close to a grocery store (across street) - Apartments are updated (fake granite counters new appliances etc) - Laundry in unit - Apartments are well insulated and you do not have to keep AC or Heat on high. - Close to dog parks Cons: - Rent does fluctuate but overall they're expensive. - Some of the neighbors do not pick up after their dogs and there is no repercussions. - Small bedrooms ( have to have a queen bed if you want anything else in the room) - There are a few closets but not a lot of storage space. Overall: It is a great place to live and I would definitely recommend it. read more

Stopped in for a tour, looking for a 1 bedroom apartment. They didn't have a 1 bedroom model so I was shown the 2 bedroom model. The unit I was shown only had 1 update which was updated flooring and that was it. I was told that some units are upgraded and some aren't. Yuck. The old units, such as the model, have formica counters (umm hello 70's, welcome to the millennium), ghastly fluorescent lighting and funky white appliances. The dishwasher didn't fit properly in the space near sink (hopefully they're not all positioned like the one in the model) and the wood on the outdoor patios looks old and gross. The one positive is the gas range, I noticed it, pointed it out and was told all units have gas (electric is just down right WRONG so, that earned them a star). I was shown the pool which had no seating and was told that they were expecting seating soon, weird. Also, no grilling on your patio as well as no grills located at the pool. I can't complain about that because I HATE when neighbors below smoke the upstairs neighbors out by grilling crap on their patios. Ok, so that's 2 positives... I have added a 3rd star for location. It IS located in Roseville, pretty snazzy area which I quite like so that earned them an additional bit of Yelp love. I wouldn't want to live here because of the reasons mentioned above and also because I think this might not be a non-smoking property. Cigarette smoke is top of my list of ABSOLUTELY NOTS, as in NO DEAL, run away at mock speed. You can ask about that yourself if you decide to take a tour... read more

This was the worst application process. A waste of a week and it's been almost 3 weeks and I haven't got my holding deposit back. Not sure what they base their applicant requirements on because I applied other places and got approved instantly so kind of weird they said i got automatically denied but gave me no reason and haven't refunded my $100 yet. I wouldn't suggest this complex unless you want the run around and the rent prices can change daily I was told by the leasing agent to wait until the end of the week to apply to lock in a better rate but it ended up going up lol ridiculous! If you are looking for a place to really call home, you've found it! Cobblestone Creek Apartment Homes really are the best value. Quartz counters, wood burning fire place, full size washer & dryer, easy to clean floors and vaulted ceilings. Plenty of closet space & clean! I never saw 1 bug or pest. The attention to cleanliness & detail to these apartments & property sets them apart. I never heard my neighbors, I actually enjoyed living next to them. Living in a smaller community gives you the feeling of quant, one on one attention should you need maintenance or management for anything. During the summer months my AC unit went out. At the time I was very pregnant and so uncomfortable- to say the least. It was 105 degrees and 7PM, I called the emergency maintenance number and can you believe maintenance was at my home in less than an hour to fix the AC unit! That's a rare find in apartment maintenance and it definitely makes a difference. Living at Cobblestone has set the mark for apartment standards in my book, leaving is bittersweet! read more

I have lived in these apartments for almost a year. The office staff and maintenance staff have always been friendly, more than helpful and prompt whenever I have a question with their responses. My maintenance requests are handled promptly and always taken care of. The complex is quiet for a family apartment complex and I have had zero problems with my neighbors or anyone else for that matter. The apartments are well maintained, update, newly renovated and clean. I looked a lot before settling on this complex because I wanted to make sure it was right for me. I read all the reviews before deciding, so I felt I should in turn, give a review. I would recommend them! read more

This is an acceptable apartment complex. I had issues with the management when I first moved in, but management has changed and the new staff seem much more competent. When I first moved in, they said I would get an apartment in the back but I ended up with one in the front, on the street. They also failed to respond to any of my emails or phone calls unless I came into the office in person or called durring office hours and got someone on the phone :-( However when I moved out I had to break my lease and they really worked with me, the apartment was rented out less than a week after I handed over my keys. I even got some of my deposit back. The new management even extended office hours so that if you work 9-5 there are a few hours a week that you could potentially make it into the office after work. Pros: Reasonably nice apartments with gas ranges. Convenient location, easy freeway access, near shopping centers. Cons: Not enough parking on site. Insecure, and inconvenient gate system. Warning: They require a professional cleaning ($100) on move out so don't bother to scrub too much unless you know someone who runs a cleaning business, have them clean and give you a receipt. Also don't let them put you in an apartment any where near the pool pumps. read more

I wouldn't give even 1 star to these apartments. We moved in for a short term lease (3 months) due to family financial situation and wasn't sure if we will continue living there or not. Closer to the end of our first lease we needed to continue either for 3 more months or month-to-month option. What was our surprise to get a notice (less than 30 days) that they doubling the price for our apartment on a month-to-month basis, not giving us 3 month lease option, or we can consider 6-month or longer! After a continuous fight with the management that it's against the law: first of all to give such a short notice, second to discriminate our right for 3 month lease, and third (by law) if the increase is more than 10% they should sent us at least 60 days notice. They replied that this law doesn't apply to us! But law citation says opposite. Our begging to consider our financial problems no one wanted to listen. We ended up paying almost $2600 for a tiny 1-bed in Roseville!!! The most greedy apartments I've ever lived in and the worst experience I've ever had! DO NOT RECOMMEND! read more

I was a previous tenant here for 3 years. The only reason I left was due to a roommate break up, and had a new opportunity to live with family, otherwise I'd still be living here at cobblestone creek. During my time at cobblestone creek, I became friends with many neighboring residents, as well as the management team. Amanda and Ivan always took excellent care of my maintenance needs and requests in a timely manner, with a friendly attitude. Quiet at night, safe community in a good area. I loved living across from the glass turtle and all the eateries, grocery store, and a few minutes from I-80. Would recommend to anyone! read more

I have lived here for over 9 years. When I got in, the rent was reasonable, people were nice, units were worn but cozy and if there was an issue, maintenance responded quickly and effectively. Since then this place has gone to hell. There has been a new face in the office almost every 3 months. My original apartment flooded, the company refused to provide me with a living arrangement while they repaired the damage, instead forcing me to sign a new lease in one of their "upgraded" units. My rent has doubled over the last nine years. Problems are ignored. Residents are rude and inconsiderate, often causing hostile living environments and the management doesn't seem to care. I would never recommend this place to anyone and cannot wait till my lease is up so I can relocate. read more

Ok, this place isn't as bad as other places I've heard horror stories about, but indeed not the best. Pros: Pretty quiet at night Apartment was pretty clean and didn't really need anything when I moved in. Close to Safeway and Rite aid. (Walking distance) A lot of other nice places to eat at and shop at. Very attractive living area. Some neighbors seem to be pretty nice and friendly. Gated community. School district is great Cons: Parking is a nightmare,Maintenance takes forever to get back to you and when they do they barely fix the problem. Ughhh! neighbors are inconsiderate when it comes to parking spots. They seem to think its OK to park 3 cars on the property and switch cars around when they leave so they don't have to look for a spot when they get back. Very inconsiderate and nothing is done by management. May not seem like a big deal at first, but once you live here for a while and get home tired at night it will. Always seems to be the same exact people that do it over and over again. Rent is too high! Floors creek like heck and heating/AC units are old. Seems like they go to a great distance to salvage anything. You'd think at how much you pay for rent they would take care of you a little better. Gym is pretty crappy. Treadmill was down for nearly 4 months and could not be replaced till budget was correct. At how much you pay a month you'd think they'd have more than one tread mill and a decent weight machine. I have enjoyed living here for the time being, but its time to move on. I'd recommend it as a place to live at if you are a college or military person( not living here to long) read more

There comes a time to update ones review. Now. Management office - a nightmare since our manager of two years left. Nightmare because some suit in the corporate management office - thinks it a good idea to put a well educated bean counter in the leasing office several days a week. Where-as the bean counters of the world are needed for counting all the beans and scrambling to eke every allowable cent from renters to make the businesses profitable (think Ferengi) for the management company and the property owners: but (and man, is it ever a big BUT) as a face for the public...a giant FAIL. Bean Counters are a necessary evil, not ever as a personable face for the public. They have the warmth and compassion of diamonds : delightful to look at - yet, no feelings at all. (However, the corporate war chest is forever protected! Long live the Ferengi of the world!) Just - why did they have to invade my neighborhood? I am certain the management company is raking in profits from the owners and from the unbelievable turnover of renters in this complex. There is no retention program to keep desirable renters,and the constant rental turn over : example - my building of 8 units has had 14 tenants in 30 months...only shows a profit to the management company - charging exorbitant fees for cleaning - regardless of the empty unit being stripped and refurbished - and rarely returning security deposits. (It's a heck of a business that can turn profits in a flat market, they always have renters by the short'n'curlies...) You would think someone would snap to what's wrong? Not so much... read more

People new to the area, stay away !!! They prey on your ignorance(Specially Immigrant families !!!). Imagine being charged detailed cleaning and carpet replacement after the following: a. Charge for cleanup of Curry odor: I was charged for ozone cleanup saying Curry odor can be felt. We were surprised. I had changed multiple apartments and never before this happened. So if you cook curry, be ready to be billed for ozone generator. b. I was informed that the detailed cleaning expenses will be waived if I had paid for one (which I did, submitted the bill). What happened? They charged me for detailed cleaning. c. Spill on carpet. I let them know in advance requesting a quote on the fix I was given a quote of $x. What happened? On the move out detailed bill, they had charged easily 4 times more than $x. To top it all, when I moved into the city and checked their availability, I was warned by an employee working at their office not to go to CTL management apartments saying they rob rental people while vacating. I did the foolish mistake of trusting her. I realize now that she was after all telling about Cobble creek management, not anyone else. read more

I lived here for over a year and loved it. The apartment was nice and clean. Management was nice and helpful. They were awesome! The neighbors were friendly and quiet. Compared to the other apartment complexes in the area, this one is top notch. No pest problems or anything. If I move back to Roseville CA I will definitely choose this place again. read more

The complex is quiet for the most part. Well maintained and attractive property, as well as interiors of the apartments. Of note: *There is zero overhead lighting in the living room and the bedroom. There's not even a living room light switch. Lamps are a must! May seem like a small detail, but annoying. Especially if you arrive home in the dark. 3/5 stars for design *Maintenance is only M-F, no holidays, etc, unless of course it's a true emergency. Management is pretty prompt about setting up maintenance (and the maintenance guy is very nice), but not always thorough. We've had to call back about the same issue on more than one occasion. 3.5-4/5. *These apartments are NOT made for a short person. The bottom of the microwave is anchored 6ft high (not exaggerating), so good luck with that hot cup or bowl of food you're reaching overhead to get. My sitter cannot reach the inside of the bottom of the washer without a step stool. 2.5/5 stars *Storage is limited, everywhere. There is a nice linen and coat closet, though. Kitchen has all of 3 very small drawers. (Only one is large enough to fit silverware. The rest are smaller.) Half of the cabinets are anchored very high as well, directly to the ceiling. So again, if one is short, the top shelves of the kitchen cupboards are unusable even with a stool. For someone who likes to cook = 2/5 *Parking is definitely hit or miss. Almost 0 guest parking unless on the street. 3/5 *There are often people wandering around in the middle of the night (heard from 11pm- 4&5am), wearing hoodies, etc. Who needs keys or to be a member of this gated community when you can just reach over the fence? Perhaps not a big deal, but... Otherwise, relatively quiet throughout the day. Not too many screaming kids or barking dogs. 4/5 for quiet *Location is a HUGE saving grace for this facility. Starbucks, Belair, Rite Aid and Safeway are within a block. There's all sorts of shopping center restaurants/small shops nearby. 2 gas stations within a block. You're 90 seconds from Hwy 80 heading in either direction. Trader Joes is 8 minutes away, and maybe 10 mins to Target, TJ Maxx, Panera, Sprouts, Orange Theory & Anytime Fitness etc. 5+/5 for location. *The feeling is such that management just wants to get you in and locked in a lease. After that, customer service is hit and miss. Most often, they are quick to respond. 4/5 stars for fast response rate. 3/5 for courteousness and caring about customer satisfaction. It could definitely be worse. I've lived in totally unresponsive communites that felt unsafe. This complex isn't bad. read more

We've been here less than a year, but we're pretty happy! We have a 2 bedroom apartment that's been completely renovated - new flooring, paint, appliances, plumbing fixtures and ceiling fan. It's basically a very quiet complex with a mix of older folks, younger families and single people. The areas are always clean and well kept. The pool is an average size and is nice to utilize. The work out room is small, but efficient. The air conditioning works great. The parking is sufficient - I always see open spaces. I love that there is a small dog park and for the most part, most people are good about cleaning up after their pets. I've only had to contact management (who is very friendly and accommodating) about some minor items and then when our a/c had an issue - and they took care of everything very fast! There are only a couple of downsides I can mention. The porches/patios - the porches are nice, however, if you have an upstairs unit, the wood planks have spaces in between them and so any dirt, water (RAIN!), trash, etc. falls right down into the downstairs patio. The framing - what I'm referring to is the noise you hear in the downstairs apartment from the upstairs apartment. You can basically hear every single step that the upstairs tenants make - which can be irritating if they have a lot of people in their unit, wake up early/go to bed late and/or drop stuff. Ventilation - if you have a neighboring tenant that smokes in their apartment, you can sometimes smell the smoke coming through the vents. Overall, we like the apartment complex!! read more
