    Mango fluffy pack
    Jay S.

My friend wanted to try fluffy pancakes. She picked this place. Overall I will give is 4/5. In ordered customized crepe with strawberry. This place does good job at food presentation. Crepe was just 3/5 because crepe and whipped cream were too plain. What saved it was strawberry and condensed milk. Fluffy pancakes were yummy. Be careful it will crumble when you first cut into it. You have to order first be seated yourself. They only have one table if you have a big party. Street parking, good luck. We came early so we able to order fluffy pancakes before it run out. Staffs were polite and friendly. The decorations were cute.

I have always loved going to this place for dessert! They are one of the few places I know of that does bingsu AND the Japanese toast. My favorites have been their Mango Shibuya Toast, as well as their Mango Bingsu. I also like their drinks too, the sparkling passion fruit black tea and matcha latte are both great. They also added brunch to their menu about a year ago I believe, and i've tried their croissant Benedict which was yummy :) I also always appreciate an aesthetic cafe which definitely checks that box here!

Super cozy place for a unique brunch experience! We came here for the soufflé pancakes and ordered both the egg Benedict savory version and the strawberry cream one. They were both extremely fluffy and flavorful. The savory one had a nice chipotle sauce in addition to hollandaise. The strawberry one was not too sweet and moist. You order at the counter and pick up your food here. The soufflé pancakes took awhile (30 mins?) to come out, but it was worth it. We came on a weekend as soon as it opened, but there was already a line. I definitely enjoyed the atmosphere and the food - one of the few places to get soufflé pancakes in Seattle!

OMG, so good!!! I got the strawberry toast and it was absolutely heavenly. Every single part of it was amazing, and the café itself was so cute and aesthetic. The toast was perfectly toasted, warm, and smelled incredible. It came with delicious ice cream and syrup drizzled on top, which made it even better. It is very easy to order, and you get a buzzer thing when your dish is ready. Every time a new order came out, it looked and smelled amazing, which just confirmed that you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Dessert heaven! We went with 2 of our friends and planned on sharing a few dishes. We asked the server what are the more popular bites. He recommended the Mango Cheesecake Bingsu & Banana Honey Caramel Shibuya Toast. Both stellar recommendations! Mango Cheesecake Bingsu 4.5/5- Mangos and creamy cheesecake bites sit on top of a pillow of shaved ice, topped with mango sauce and vanilla ice cream. This dish was incredible. Only thing I'd want is more cheesecake bites but to be fair, we shared these with 4 people. All of their desserts are rather large so I'd share with at least one other person. Banana Honey Caramel Shibuya Toast 5/5- This one really deserves no notes. I have a HUGE sweet tooth and let me just say, normally I prefer chocolate and on that spectrum of sweets, but this was a memorable plate. The toasted fluffy bread, the fresh caramelized bananas, topped with ice cream and whipped cream. You're just transported to a creamy heaven. The mixture of textures in their plates is just executed exceptionally well. I would definitely recommend both dishes to guest, but especially this one! They also offer crepes, coffee, matcha, einspanner, and breakfast/brunch options until 3pm in case your sweet tooth needs something savory for balance. Parking is limited due to location, but please do not let this deter you. Service was quick and we found the server to be incredibly helpful & knowledgeable of the menu. Not alot of seating, but it seems to be enough for the volume of customers. We never saw anyone waiting for a seat during our time there. The location also has fun decor. If you like desserts in any fashion or just want a unique dessert experience, give them a try!

Cocho valley has a sweet treat for everyone from brick toast to bingsoo (shaved ice) to drinks (matcha and lattes). It's a quaint space with some tightly spaced tables and a community table. Ordering is straightforward and you get a beeper for when your order is ready. The brick toast was crunchy on the outside and soft inside. Overall, everything was pretty delicious but a little pricey ($15). Good spot to study and share a dessert.

A chill spot to grab a dessert after dinner! There's street parking in the neighborhood nearby. It was pretty busy on a Saturday around 7pm. There were also a bunch of gals taking photos in all the cute spots in the cafe. Strawberry cheesecake bingsoo: the presentation was so cute and came with a side of condensed milk. The shaved ice part was a different texture than I'm used to, and I liked it! Super melt in your mouth and a bit creamy. I just wish there were more strawberries. Overall not too sweet either! Adjust sweetness with the condensed milk.

Hands down the best bingsu I've ever had. The texture is one of a kind: light, not too sweet, flaky like shaved coconut. And I love that they still have the Christmas tree up, with plants everywhere (I'm a big fan of fiddle leaves), and teddy bears (how cozy!). If you've ever been to Seoul, it's similar to their teddy bear cafe. There was one table left when we got there, a pretty popular place. Service was quick too. Def worth visiting again.

    Soufflé Strawberry Cloud
    Holly Z.

Soufflé Strawberry Cloud This dish features light, airy soufflé pancakes topped with fresh strawberries, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, strawberry Mont Blanc cream, and a drizzle of house-made strawberry sauce. Typically it's two pancakes from other places that I have been, but this place is a three-pancake stack. The presentation was stunning, very creative and undeniably tempting. Taste-wise, the pancakes truly live up to the hype. They're incredibly fluffy, soft, and practically melt in your mouth. Light, cloud-like, and perfectly balanced in sweetness and richness, each bite feels delicate yet indulgent. Absolutely irresistible. Service & Experience Breakfast is served until 3 PM, but the soufflé pancakes are available only until sold out. Coche Valley operates on a self-service style: you place your order first, find a seat, and the staff will bring your food once it's ready. Drinks are called out by name and picked up at the counter. Despite how busy it was during my visit, the wait time was very reasonable, especially considering soufflé pancakes take time to prepare. Matcha Latte A simple matcha latte made with matcha and milk. Nothing fancy, but solid and straightforward. I'd definitely come back for the crepes.

    Strawberry Soufflé
    Suki Z.

I saw videos and posts about the soufflé here so I was super excited to try it. There isn't a lot of seating inside so when it gets busy you might have to wait around. We ordered the strawberry soufflé which we had to look for on their brunch menu. Their big menu at the entrance only has drinks, the Shibuya toast, crepe, and the bingsu. Since their presentation is immaculate, you will have to wait for your order. For the soufflé they brought the plate directly to our seating area (making sure that we didn't have to struggle with the balance!) The soufflé was room temperature and super airy and soft. The white cream tasted like melted vanilla ice cream and surprisingly tasted more like vanilla than the scoop of ice cream atop the soufflé pancakes. The strawberry jam was pretty sweet so I wouldn't recommend getting a scoop of that on its own. There is a bussing station to the right of the cash register where we put our plates and utensils away. Complementary water too of course! Overall would love to come here and try out the Shibuya toast but just as note, parking may be an issue for some so come early!

It's a drive away from downtown but the place is super cute and the crepes are delish! Service is ok. The orders take a while and there is very little seating.

What a beautiful experience. The atmosphere is tranquil, enhanced by unique lighting, fresh plants and flowers, and soft Japanese pop music playing quietly in the background. The people at the counter are very gentle, patient, and kind, explaining the dishes and offering suggestions. The matcha latte was made perfectly, and the cup it was served in had a great haptic. The mango shibuya toast was phenomenal, both in presentation and flavor. Generous amount of freshly sliced ripe mango, the vanilla ice cream and whipped cream were a good quality. The toast was fluffy and lightly toasted. The drizzle of mango sauce with crisped rice provided a perfect contrast. . I was there shortly after opening and was able to place my order without waiting. It did fill up quickly, and this was on a random Thursday. The price is absolutely fair, for the quality of the ingredients and obvious care put into the dish. Each dish the kitchen prepared was a work of art. Believe the hype and go.

Banana Nutella toast, Strawberry Cheesecake, Matcha einspanner
    Selina H.

This is a delicious brunch spot! Their shibuya toast was slightly crispy on the outside and soft inside. The strawberry cheesecake crepe was alright in my opinion since it didn't really stand out. The avocado croissant eggs benedict was really tasty though! There are a lot of flavors in that dish. The matcha einspanner was good but mostly tasted cream instead of matcha. Overall i'd come back for the other shibuya toasts and the eggs benedict. There's very limited seating inside. It was difficult to get a table for more than 3 people.

Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #118…read more Located across from Westlake Center, this is a full fledged Xing Fu Tang, complete with a bubbling black sugar boba wok and their signature fortune sticks. I especially love the menu towards the rear of the store that depicts all the drinks and whether they contain dairy or tea. Walking in on a Thursday evening right before dinner, it was surprisingly crowded inside. All the seats were taken and there was a small line waiting to order at the kiosk. Luckily the staff is efficient, and I had my drink within a couple of minutes. Taiwan Boba Milk Tea, Large, 25% Sweet, Less Ice ($8.29) - Xing Fu Tang really focuses on two things: black sugar and milk. That focus is evident in this drink, where there's a strong mineral essence from the sugar, and somehow a really strong milkiness (despite being dairy free). The tea? It's an afterthought, with only some flat malty notes to complement the rich and sugary drink. With that being said, the drink is flavorful enough that I don't mind the lack of tea quality at all. Now the sweetness level could use some adjustment - the milk tea by itself is probably good at 25% but with so much of the boba marinade added, it goes up quickly. I might even order 0% next time. In terms of ice, they have less ice as default which I would consider similar to full ice at other boba shops. At least it seems that way since they used large cubed ice in their drinks rather than more typical chipped ice. This drink comes with boba. The boba is clearly homemade, being almost the same texture throughout, and is somewhat lumpy and cuboid in shape rather than perfect spheres. It marinates in the black sugar for a long time, rendering them superbly sweet and sticky. Unfortunately they are there for perhaps too long - at least when I visited, they were near the bottom of the wok. This means the boba is entirely too soft, with a single bite slicing through the sides of the pearl without too much resistance. They also tend to clump up, forming larger conglomerates that get stuck in the boba straw. While there's still somewhat of a bounce, it's noticeably less than perfection. Milk Tea Rating: 4/5 Boba Rating: 3/5 I visited again a couple of weeks later for the Oolong Milk Tea, to see if they could eek a little more tea flavor out of another kind of leaf: Heaven Roast Oolong Boba Milk Tea, Large, 50% Sweet, Less Ice ($8.29) - This tea is a bit more flavorful than the regular milk tea, with a somewhat vegetal and earthy essence that kind of reminds me of Tieguanyin. There's even a slight drying astringency. I forgot to review my notes and ordered this at 50% sweet, which is way, way too sweet for my tastes. I'm definitely going to go with 0% if I visit again. The boba is the same slightly mushy texture as the last visit. At least they are consistent between visits? Milk Tea Rating: 3/5 Boba Rating: 3/5 So overall: the tea that Xing Fu Tang serves is alright, muddled but better quality than a lot of other boba shops. The boba unfortunately is mushy, which I honestly can't say I've seen all that often. I do have to give them props for making their boba in house given how rare it is. Bathrooms - Single unisex room

Because it was hot and sweaty, a big sea of people were waiting both outside and inside this place, and I saw only about 5 or so staff members making all the drinks. There's only two tables and two benches to sit at on the right-hand side of the place; otherwise, the rest of the space is behind the counter where all the drinks are made and the strong aromatic aroma of tea fills the interior. From my visit here, I think you can only place orders either through their lone kiosk to the left-hand side of the entrance near a corner, or by scanning the QR code at the front of the entrance and following prompts on your phone. Staff was too busy making drinks to take orders at the front counter when I was inside. Either way, you have to use the HeyTea app to scan a QR code (on the receipt you get after placing your order) if you want to see an estimate on when your drink(s) will be ready. By the time I signed up for an account and downloaded the app using the slow 5G, my estimated time was 25 minutes; however, the wait for my triple supreme matcha latte (with extra matcha, less sugar and all other things in their recommended settings) ended up being more than 45 minutes as I walked around the perimeter and waited inside and outside this location as well. It was really chaotic trying to get my drink once it was ready; people were cutting in front of me and others to show staff their receipt and pick up their orders even though I was in front of the line. Taste wise though, the matcha is a strong ceremonial blend with grassy tones that actually caught me by surprise. That's because they have a matcha cheese cloud which I thought would have dulled the matcha taste but it didn't! There's also matcha mochi and what tasted like matcha jelly on the bottom which further strengthened the earthy tones. Probably because it was really hot as of this writing, the ice melted much fasted than usual so that's out of this place's control and therefor doesn't detract from my experience itself. Wait here was really long for just one drink but I'm thankful there's something you can use to see when your drinks are ready - in this case, their HeyTea app. I would probably only come back if I was around the area, though wait times for drinks might deter me from doing so altogether.

I got the Dong Ding Oolong with cream, perfect sweet and less ice with boba. The Dong Ding oolong is a high mountain oolong with a strong malty, nutty, roasty taste. It perfectly complements the cream. The team is absolutely lovely, it was my first time there and I had some questions/confusion and they were literally so patient, so kind and definitely pointed me in the right direction! As a Libra, decisions are hard ok luckily, you really can't go wrong with anything here. They even offer you free samples of their daily tea! They were pretty busy for a weeknight and yet we didn't wait long at all. Beautiful decor, very unique, relaxing and artistic. Definitely gives quality tea absolutely crushed it on the aesthetic front 10/10 gorgeous Sadly deducting a star because I got a very long black hair in my drink and I have very short blonde hair, so it was a bit unsettling and the drinks are quite expensive, so didn't super love that!
