    Bam Bam Shrimp

Really was torn between 3 * or 4*, but I will give them the 4. I feel like this steakhouse was going for more upscale and it did have that vibe. The food was good but not amazing and the drink options were okay. I think what made me go 4 was because they were not busy and the wait staff, she really tried to make it great (the best) and they had small July 4th specials like a free Bam Bam shrimp with 2 drinks and steaks had 1 free topping, which she got mushrooms and I got onions. So I will say it was a good experience, not average. The mojitos were tasty and well done. They had bread that was okay, but not great, just kind of a soft wheat roll with butter. The Bam Bam was great and tasted amazing. The steaks, we had the 10 oz Sirloins and they presented well and were cooked correctly and still hot. came with two onion rings and one side. I had Garlic Mashed Potatoes and my wife had the Plantains. No issues and everything was good. The mushrooms for the steak are a mixture, so may not appeal to those who are partial to one type. Overall an decent experience. but a little more expensive than I would have liked if it had not been for the specials. Might need to try again, but I would try others in the area first.

First time going to this restaurant There was no wait, we got seated right away. The waiter was attentive and was kind enough to get our drinks while we waited for the other person. The manager came by to make sure everything was ok. The food was great and hot and plenty, we had to wait for the mash potatoes since they were making them by scratch. The carrot cake was amazing. The restaurant is a tad dark, the lighting but it's ok in overall

This is one of my favorite restaurants. Everything is delicious. We went here again the other night and brought others. Everyone agreed, it's yummy. The service is great and the manager Danny is amazing. The place is always clean. Oh and if you don't eat pasta they have zoodles. I get them all the time

Cheers to the beginning of our vacation in Pompano Beach

Our first time in Pompano Beach and we just stumbled across this restaurant. First look you would think it is a chain BUT it is NOT. It is a family owned establishment and one you should definitely try. The interior decor and ambiance bring you in and right from the start you get a good feeling it's going to be good. We went on a Monday night. Party of 2. No reservation. Hostess was pleasant told us it would be 10-15 minute wait. It was just under 10. We got a nice booth in the bar area. Our server was Connor. He came up to our table promptly Started with a glass of wine each which came quickly. We shared the soup (Tomato Basil) and salad (house) appetizer. I've found when it's shown as a combo the portions are smaller, but not in this case. It was a full bowl of delicious soup and the house salad was just as large and fresh and delicious. My husband opted for the Mahi Mahi with green beans and I had the Chicken Fierro. Both were delicious. Very nice size portions Mine came with two nice sized pieces of chicken; which resulted in being boxed up to have for lunch another day. We didn't have room for dessert but the choices sounded delicious (7 layer carrot cake, chocolate cake, or apple pie with ice cream) Connor was super attentive and gracious when we asked him for entertainment recommendations in the area. Overall we enjoyed our dinner and would definitely recommend

We came here to celebrate NYE with our friends/neighbors in DBI (Deerfield Beach Island). Our group of 8 enjoyed our individual entrees, the cocktails and the Bam Bam Shrimp appetizer (reminds me of Kung Pao Shrimp). My hubs and I had our own version of Surf & Turf by splitting the Hawaiian Ribeye and Chilean Seabass. Both were outstanding. Thanks Kathy for the excellent service!

Excellent service from the manager Lindsay, to our server Ricardo Came for Christmas Eve dinner and Loretta was our server...she was a ray of sunshine. The food was soooo good and the Christmas decorations were great. We started with a spinach artichoke dip which we gobbled up. I had chicken parm with angel hair in Alfredo sauce. Not something I normally would order in a non italian restaurant but boy was it delicious. My sister had 5 cheese pasta which she loved. We had leftovers for another 2 meals. Such a great experience

Solo dinner on Monday 12/2/24. Arrived late without a lot of research or recommendations but the hotel manager suggested J Mark's. Atmosphere, dinner and service were all really good. Based on the bartenders recommendation I went with Fierro Chicken entree. Absolutely full of flavor, super rich and delicious. Chicken was really moist, adding the prosciutto and smoked mozzarella cheese, topped with Dijon white wine cream sauce puts this dish over the top! Amazingly delicious!

This place was so good my opinion was the Buffalo Chicken Sliderss, they were so amazing

The service the teamwork , the food and the waiters are nice I like the place so much ,and it also fills you up

    Tip well.

I ordered the double bmc smash burger and it came out hot and delicious! I loved the grilled onions on the burger and thought they have a fantastic sauce on the burgers. When getting a smash burger you have to get a double too! Now the one disappointing aspect was I ordered the fries and they definitely left a little to be desired as I wish you got some more with an order. Typically you can share a fry but this one was a little too small to share. I definitely will be back again soon as I want to try to the spicy smash burger and I hope it delivers as well as the bmc smash burger did! This is by far one of the better smash burger spots in broward so give it a try, it's worth the drive even if you aren't in Oakland park! Especially for the fact that parking in the area is free!

On my first visit I was informed that the burger to bun ratio was optimized for a double by design. I took their word for it and I have been very pleased! They have four tables and a bunch of counter space, I always eat there so the Burger is as fresh as possible. My only complaint is that parking can be rough, but if you don't mind walking a block or so it's not unmanageable

Finally I was going to take the burgers as is. The guy says sorry we can't make this burger to go. It's a burger place that has carry out but won't make a burger to go and won't let you make any modifications. Bad experience, don't recommend. Will never come back. I'd give 0 stars if I could. Thank you for the reply. I originally wanted to X-tudo but I was refused to substitute the bug without seeds, every burger that is taken to go is never as good as dining in. As a customer I could have been given the option. The person could have just said it's not as good but it's your choice. I was never offered a chance to speak with a manager, I was just told NO. As a customer it should be up to me what burger I want to order, the ability to modify it and dine in or out. If I pay for it then it shouldn't matter if I take it home or just throw it out. I was frustrated because anything I asked for was met with a No, and was not offered to speak to a manager. It was the attitude take it or leave it, so I did. If the person I spoke with offered to involve a manager or try to find a solution I would have not written a review. I never do but this time I took the time to write one, that should say something. ** Classic Vacation Spot! Great Drinks & Killer Blackened Chicken**…read more First official lunch stop of our Florida trip is in the books, and **Legends** absolutely delivered! We managed to slide in just in time for happy hour, so the wife kicked things off right with a great cocktail. To keep the kids happy while we looked over the menu, we started with the mozzarella sticks and corn dog poppers. Both were total crowd-pleasers--crispy, melty, and didn't last long on the table. For the mains, the family spread was a massive success. The kids went with the classics: a juicy cheeseburger with golden fries, and crispy chicken tenders with perfectly fried tater tots. Both got total nods of approval. The wife and I went the salad route, ordering the Cobb salad and the Caesar salad, both topped with blackened chicken. Let me tell you, that blackened seasoning is the real deal here! It gave both salads a smoky, savory punch that elevated the whole meal. At the end of the day, Legends serves up **classic bar food done absolutely right**. The vibe is fun, the food is unpretentious and delicious, and the service was on point. It's a fantastic, reliable spot that I'd highly recommend to anyone in the area. We will definitely be back on future visits!

So we went at 7pm on a Wednesday. What's playing on TV was not available, was told to use QR code, so easy peasy. So the counter staff was pleasantly, we ordered: rabbit hole salad and the patty melt to go. Maybe should be eaten there, right away. Didn't stand up to a quick ride home. BOTH meals looked sad and not worth $50, as was $20 each, gave $3 tip for to go. Probably won't return! It's probably great for vegans who don't require quality or taste, just gut it out to remain vegan. Salad had no flavor really, it was " overdressed", just kale dressed in an underwhelming sauce. Tons of it where it was soggy. Chips of fake chicken I guess, that was flavorless. Partners patty melt was just so so. I'm sad! You ever wanted to really like something, so you force it. We love going to local spots to support folks but we demand excellence. I wasn't expecting Coopers HAWK, but wanted some flavor. It's like not even as good as Whole Foods, which is pricey like this but good. Patty melt was average, and not worth $20. The onions saved it, but too expensive for us. Fries were limp, not well made. Now I will say, we do go to dives, so we didn't need Sonness (by the way Sonness is beyond fab!). So, we can do " dive vegan" but we cant do expensive average. It survives because often the beach crowds are too tipsy or high to care, or average is OK due to being snowbirds. Im sure these reviews aren't fake, so will chop this up to a bad night for the cooks! Stop by if you are vegan, committed to this lifestyle, then its good enough. We are in good shape medically, have more allegiance to our wallet than a movement. My partner makes great, fresh salads, so I can stay home for below average greens. But if you are committed and need to just get out, try it. I think a vegan frozen meal, Amy's is better. The salad wasn't horrible, just not worth the price. $20 for soggy, no flavor. Nope! I need flavor, price, freshness mix. Also they could do better with the ambiance. When you walk up, it seemed sad. It was empty, but zero personality. They need some music, it was quiet, somewhat moodless! Even dives have a little music. Rabbits have music LOL! Wish them luck! They have been around a while, so maybe they had better days! Why show stuff on TV that's not offered, pretty photos but disappointing for us. Good news, they are surrounded by great things, Italian to the right, Max to the left, pizza to the left. And Foundry at the end of other side! Partner ate half burger, trashed it. I ate 1/4 salad, trash. $50 in the garbage. I gotta laugh as we sat in our couch, we walked in and after 10 min, the energy felt off to me. We read the menu first. I said to my mate, "let's go elsewhere" after staff said, don't have this or that. My mate said, lets see. I went along. Intuition is never wrong! Trust yout gut, give it a try! Maybe tonight was just an off night! Go try it! Maybe it will be better for you! Im sure those reviews are real but maybe that real cook was off, amd we ended up with the no talent crew!
