Came for the popular chicken sando's. I also like to support small businesses. Service is nice and friendly. I got the original and my husband got a spicy one. I REALLY wanted to love mine, but it wasn't all that great unfortunately. Sandwich was lukewarm/cold and a bit bland, even with garlic on the bun. Husband said his was 7/10. I saw his was piping hot and I had a bite, which was good. I think if mine was actually hot, it may have been better. Not sure I could justify the $16 price tag for a sandwich and no sides or drink. So I keep hearing about this sandwich shop in Morgan hill. Palmerino's closed and this was supposed to be the next best thing. Decided to check it out and right from the start the prices on the menu were a little shocking for sandwiches. The menu was simple. Not overwhelming. We begin to order and were told that they ran out of certain breads for the sandwiches we picked. Okay... it's not even 2pm yet. I guess it's that good. The sandwiches: They were not as good as we expected. They were soggy slathered with so much dressing/spread. There really wasn't anything special to it. They use chopped up iceberg lettuce which in my opinion, brings down the quality of the sandwich already. I felt like I was eating a subway sandwich and let's just say, I haven't gone back to subway in more than a decade now. Prices was an upward $15 so you would think that they invested in quality. I would love to come back to support the local business but I can't pay those prices for quality of sandwiches. read more

Still legitimately the best scones I've ever had. They put magic in their scrambled eggs and I hate that I have to share them with my kids. And try the peanut butter chocolate cookie. Must try! I'm not a breakfast person so would had preferred a deli sandwich until husband decided for the bacon breakfast burrito, shareable. The burrito was flavorful and cheesy (2 different sauces both great but I enjoyed the chipotle one). Try the scones, they won't disappoint. Fair warning... there is a high probability you'll become a scone addict if you go here. Thee best flakey, tender scones I've ever eaten in my life. I've had "cinnamon roll" and the orange cranberry scones, and texture and flavors are very well balanced. Cinnamon roll is my fave. The first bite was excellent with eggs and melted cheese , however the second bite had barely cooked potatoes, and it tasted earthy (probably not washed). Wow oh wow. I've had Cochi three times already. I've had their brisket sandwich which was to die for. I don't care for brisket but after seeing a photo on instagram, I had to go. Tucked in a little shopping plaza Cochi's Kitchen welcomed out of town guest to their impeccable menu. My son, nephew and I travelled down to Morgan Hill for a wrestling camp and though it seemed the area was just full of franchised places we were able to find Cochi's Kitchen under the 100% recommended category in yelp. Ample parking available and the entrance to the establishment was visible and clear. Upon entering the quaint kitchen the aroma of bbq permeated through the street. Greeted with a smile and a recommended choice of the favorites was apparently a must try. Wait time was almost insignificant to the hunger that we were exerting. The meal was delicious and a must when in town. Portion size was enough to fill us up and then grab some for the king trip back north. Thank you Cochi's Kitchen foe the amazing experience.
