I have been going here for 3 years and began getting a UV gel manicure. They serviced me for a new set, after I requested a refill, but didn't tell me until after they completely removed everything, only offering me a regular gel manicure despite their error. I went again, requesting a refill and ensured throughout my service that I was getting a refill, and again was charged for a new set. I confronted Jenny with the price list online, showing her I was charged for a full set price and not a refill, and she became defensive, saying it was a full set because it was beyond 3 weeks. When I told her I ensured the nail tech multiple times that I was getting a refill throughout my service, she told me the price I was charged was correct and the online listed priced was wrong. Disappointed as I've been coming to this nail salon for years. I got a pedicure yesterday and the girl took chunks of skin off my heel. She kept telling me to soak it while it was bleeding and I needed band aids. I feel like the manager didn't say anything -or do anything and the tech then asked me if I wanted a manicure. She finally came back on the phone and she was asking if I was sure I wanted to schedule because I didn't give her a larger tip. I wasn't aware that a standard tip is suppose to be 20%. I've gone to Coco Blue since they opened. They always had excellent customer service. Not so much anymore. For example I was there two weeks ago. The salon parking lot only had two or three cars in the lot. So, I went in without an appointment. My pedicure went without a hitch but the manager did my manicure. Mind you there were 4 free manicurists sitting without a client. The manager kept answering the phone and writing in the their schedule book during my manicure. She the told me I'd have to wait 45-60 minutes to have my manicure done. When I look confused and questioned her, she chastised me for not having an appointment. UPDATE: After two weeks, my gel manicure is still on and still looks awesome! After going to the CoCo Blue in Philly, I decided to give the one in Conshy a try as well. I had been going to the same salon in Conshy for years right down the road but was frustrated with the quality and rushed service. I'll now be coming to CoCo Blue instead! I made my appointment for a Friday afternoon literally 30 mins before coming and they were able to accommodate me for a pedicure and gel manicure. They had a wide variety of colors and a fair amount of pedicure chairs so you wouldn't have to wait. Wine is complimentary if you would like it. My pedicure was very relaxing and I appreciated seeing them scrub the foot baths vigorously after each use. Marissa who did my gel mani was super sweet and very meticulous! She didn't rush getting done my nails at all and allowed me to choose how many coats I wanted. Highly recommend if you are looking for a clean and affordable salon in the area! read more

Really great place! I went in without an apt on Friday afternoon and was seen almost immediately. There is a fridge with drinks when you come in, but I was not offered a drink (I assume mainly because I was getting a mani, not a pedi). I did see some people drinking the buzzed about mimosas in their pedi chairs though! They had an awesome selection of polish. I hate when cheap salons use off brands, but this place had all opi and a selections of opi, Gelish and shellac for gel. I had Kay and she was wonderful. She paid close attention to detail, always wiping away any polish that got on my skin (not much anyway). For all the cleanliness freaks out there, I did see all the techs thoroughly scrub their tools with antiseptic and place them back into the sterilizer machines. I admit, $45 for a French gel mani is a bit steep-- but I did get an excellent mani that took about 40 minutes. While I was drying my top coat she gave me a nice shoulder massage for 2 minutes. She gave me a nice hand and arm massage with the scented lotion and even finished by putting some drops of lemon essential oil on my wrists. A nice touch, but if I could spend a few bucks less, I wouldn't miss the massage and oil. I have been going to this salon for a few years and have recommended several friends and family members. I will NEVER return. First of all, I had been noticing a decline in the quality of service, but sort of "let it go" as I'd been going there- I realized that, their practice is to send the more experience staff to new locations (to establish a reputation, I suppose) and, as a result, the "established" locations (like Conshohocken) get a bunch of trainees. I figured this out after asking the store manager, Zin, about several different people over a few months that I no longer saw and was told "oh, she's at Blue Bell now" I want to qualify my previous 5 star rating- while I would have rated them higher at that time, I would not have given them a 5 star rating if it wasn't for the store manager walking around as we were getting our nails, telling us that if we gave a 5 star Yelp, we would get a discount ($5 off I think?) pretty sure that's an FTC violation on the business's end, but, I'm just a girl getting her nails done who is a sucker for a discount. And, so are many others, I wasn't the only person to pull out my phone after my nails had dried, so, when reading other reviews, I'd keep this in mind... In any event, quality of service had been declining, but, didn't hit rock bottom- hard- until a couple of weeks ago. I went in for a manicure and brought my own polish (always do, I know what I like). I got there about 45 minutes before closing? And had to wait a few minutes for someone to become available, so, there I was- ready with polish. I got my manicure and it was a terrible, streaky mess (not to mention the manicurist was damn rude) I noticed this when it was drying (which was near closing time) so looked around for my manicurist who was LITERALLY RUNNING out the door with the rest of the staff. Maybe they were carpooling and the ride was leaving? I have no idea, but there were three customers there (one who didn't even get her tiny back massage while drying (not that mine was given with TLC, but it's the principle)) including myself and we got to chatting about how bizarre and terrible it was, initially we just looked at one another like "WTF?" answer is, no idea, but I can't make this stuff up. I asked the manager working (forget her name- she has glasses- maybe Hannah?) if she could fix it and she told me that it was supposed to look that way. I told her that it was not and that I was familiar with the polish as I used it several times before and BROUGHT MY OWN BOTTLE! Then she said she didn't have time to fix it and said I could come back the next day- actually, I couldn't- I didn't have time, not to mention I was just over the whole thing. I've worked in a lot of restaurants, and, it sucks when you get a table and you want to leave shortly and then there is an issue or they want dessert or to look at pictures with their friends- whatever. Point being, you're stuck there until your customer leaves because they PAID YOU for a service- you don't get to run away, you get to pout about it. The following day, I called the regular manager, Zin (who I've always liked, I have to say, I don't believe that it's her fault/ has much power) and told her what happened and that I didn't plan to return HOWEVER I had a $60 gift certificate my husband had gotten me (as I said, I've been going here for a while- I had previously used a gift certificate that my mom gave me for Mother's Day) and just wanted to return it for the money paid (btw- it doesn't say anywhere on the gift certificate that this is against policy). Zin told me that she would have to talk to her manager (Coco?) and get back to me. I asked if I could contact her directly (makes sense- "connect me to your supervisor" kind of thing) and she said no and asked me how I would like it if someone shared my personal information? (Woooooah Zin, bit snarky, but I digress...) I told her that, as a business person, I would expect to be reachable and, that I am reachable - directly- where I work. It's called a work phone- if you're out there, you need a work phone, Coco! Or, you need to give your managers decision making power. In any event, "Coco" was supposed to get back to me the next day- I insisted. It's been about a week now, no response. Stuck up, Very rude and openly harass clients for higher tips!! They over charge and do a crappy job! I sent family there although I've only been once. I wasn't impressed at all and the lady cut me. But it was close so I suggested the nail salon. I sent five ladies to them, each spent a good amount of money. They all tipped over %20!!! Yet they were still harassed all the way to their car about giving them a higher tip! They were asked while paying and someone followed them to their car!!! This is the third time I've heard something similar to this happening. So I decided to call and ask about the policy on tipping. Not only was she clear and rude... she said she is the manager and the ladies are allowed to ask and follow people to the car to ask for higher tips. I asked to speak with owner she said she that it is policy and she does the same thing. I hate bad tippers and always make sure myself and people with me tip well. Came here with my sister for pedicures. My nail tech was very nice however my sisters was awful. She was rude to my sister many times when she would damand things like " bend your knee". She then got very angry at my sister when she accidentally smudged her nail polish. Then when it came time to dry our nails my nail tech helped me carry my stuff to the dryer... my sisters did not. My nail tech told me $28 if I paid cash. My sisters nail tech told her $30. Then my nail tech gave a massage while my nails were drying... and so did the other nail tech to their clients. But not my sisters. We will never come back here. They also cut my cuticles, and did not scrub my callouses. Go elsewhere read more

So bad that I made a Yelp account. I decided to try a new salon close to home, but had a very unfortunate experience. Three days ago, I made an appointment for a manicure at 2:30pm today, and arrived at 2:25pm. There was no one working the front desk, so one of the technicians told me to pick a polish and wait. After this, I sat down on the bench in the waiting area and waited for 25 minutes. Another woman walked in at that time, 2:50pm, told a technician she was early for her appointment (I assume 3pm) and was sat immediately for her manicure. I put my polish on the counter and left. Coco Blue is not worth your time. I can't comment on the quality of their work, but they should consider improving their customer service to retain business. read more

If I could give less than one star, I would. I used to like this place, however, due to my experience on 5/31/22 I will never return to them. I had a 5:15 appointment (which I arrived to on time), I picked my polish (under 30 seconds) and was immediately taken to the pedicure bowl where I sat for 50 minutes before someone came to attend to my feet. The staff appeared to take individuals who came in after me before me. When they started my pedicure, it was 6:05 pm. The tech was only able to complete one foot due to my time constraints. Long story short, I left the establishment with one foot half done, one foot not touched at all and two extremely wrinkled feet (due to sitting in the water for almost an hour). Will not be going back, my daughter made the appointment for two dips and one pedicure. When we got there the person at the desk kept saying one dip, one gel and pedicure. That should have been my first red flag . She went back and forth with me for a few minutes about it. I guess they over booked rhe people who can do dips. So I go to sit to get my pedicure my feet were in the the bowl for literally 2 minutes before my pedicure was started. Not even enough time for cuticles to get soft. She started pushing my cuticles back and it hurt I told her she just smiled said okay and continued on, second red . The women next to me was getting an express pedicure I was getting a full one, started at the same time why was mine done before her's? Was brought over to have my nails done. They had to pull over the tech that was working on my daughters nails to start mine. The tech was not happy about it. Found out after I was done that this tech cut my daughter 3 different times and made her bleed. The tech I had to do my nails should never do a shoulder massage, it was to the point that she hurt me she also didn't take her gloves off so the ends of my hair got caught in the gloves so my hair was also being pulled during this "massage". My dip is very thick and uneven and it is starting to lift. We had them done less then a week ago. I had gelish manicure and pedicure. I read the reviews before so I ordered a mimosa and enjoyed more the manicure than the regular pedicure, which it was just OK. They have a lot of brands and color gel options and the girl that received me friendly without an appointment helped me to choose my polish. During my manicure I received a relaxing massage in my back and also in my hands, so it's a good place to be pampered. The technician did a nice job on my manicure but from a business perspective, there are a couple concerns. They state the price of a manicure is $14, but that is actually the cash price. They also don't accept tips on credit cards. I actually paid in cash and when I asked the technician to break a 20, she gave me back a $5 and a $1 so that I would have to tip the $5 (which was my plan anyway, but the customer should have the choice). Bottom line: Bring cash. The other thing they advertise is that they provide customers with complimentary drinks, which they did not. I would recommend trying other local nail salons. read more

I was very impressed with the service here! They give you a lot of options, like if its okay to do your mani at the same time as your pedi. I never felt uncomfortable, which is a great change to when I typically get my nails done! They offer drinks and a wide array of services. You get a loyalty card - 2 stamps per pedi and one stamp per mani, reach 20 stamps and you get a $15 credit! I choose to get the regular pedi ($30) and it was very well done, includes massage and hot stone application as well! I also got a regular mani ($15), so the services are competitively priced for the area and for what you get. It is extremely clean and the staff are wonderful! I will definitely be back. Doesn't hurt that its only 2 miles from my house!! *Update* The clear coat started peeling off within 2 days, but left the color still on my nails... I've never seen that happen. My experience at Coco Blue was disappointing. My friend had made us appointments on Friday night for Sunday morning for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. We arrived on time, and were put in pedicure chairs. I then sat and waited for 30 minutes for someone to come over and start my pedicure, while my friend was almost done hers. It was frustrating to watch walk ins be taken instead of starting my appointment. My gel manicure actually looks very good, but then when I went to pay it was $70. Its more expensive then getting your nails done in Center City. There was no compensation for starting me 35 minutes after my appointment time, and then also making my friend wait an additional 20 minutes for me to be done.
