Great place for Tuesday night love it packed but good and very well done playing your favorite soccer game great for some Firends and even a date

Sour cream had hair in it

I mean it's tasty but the service was mid ngl. Sour cream came out with hair in it. Overall it could use a little work, the service was really slow and we got the cheese dip right before the meal.

Just ordered food. picked up tacos and acp. we found long piece of hair in acp by eating mouthful and pulling out of mouth We will not be back smh

Service is quick but the food is kinda bland for Mexican food. Maybe I ordered the wrong things. It is one of the busiest restaurants on the street but flavor is disappointing. Everybody else seems to like it though

There are very few places that i frequent regularly. Coco Bongo is one of them. The food is always hot and amazing. The margs are the best in Raleigh and the atmosphere is exciting and lively. Feels like i'm actually in Mexico. Would definitely recommend for a dinner or lunch with family and friends.

I tried the horchata drink from coco bongo today and not to be dramatic but it was so delicious. I don't know why I've never tried this here, but I'm telling you all to go get one right now. Also, they gave me a cup the size of a gallon. This drink legit lasted me like three hours and it stayed fresh and cold. Coco bonks is toooo good y'all.

I ordered via phone call and came to pick it up - the food itself was great! The salsa they give with the tacos is pretty spicy but I didn't mind - overall everything tasted good. The service was very slow to be greeted and actually receive my order. The decor inside looked nice / I wouldn't mind trying a dine in experience.

So you wanna go to Cabo and Covid restrictions are making it impossible? CoCo's has got you covered ! I have found my new favorite place to kick it after a long stressful week. Coco Bongo is one of the best local spots for happy hours and date nights. This place is so hip and happening right in the middle of NC State. So underrated! While all the other restaurants were turning us away at 9:00 p.m. due to the Covid19 protocols, Coco's waiters welcomed us with open arms and a large mug of horchata after 9:00 pm. While enjoying a date night, we stumbled upon CoCo as we drove past NC State. This is a bustling area filled with college students. There's a nearby cannabis cafe, tattoo and piercing parlor and plenty of cool hipster vibes to sink into. This restaurant features a full bar ! A deliciously huge Menu with plenty of authentic mexican cuisine. There sooooo much to choose from. The customer service here is that of a 5 Star Resort. We were seated immediately and enjoyed some complimentary chips and salsa. I ordered a Horchata and they delivered the most beautiful oversized beer mug of horchata I've ever seen in my life ! It was adorned in coconut shavings and caramel ! For those of you who don't know, horchata is a delicious rice and cinnamon beverage. For entrees we ordered the Al Pastor Taco Meal, served with rice and refried beans. My date had the chicken and shrimp Texana. A large tortilla stuffed with gooey cheese, shrimp and chicken. All our food was perfecto. Their Al pastor was sweet, tangy and the cilantro and lime was an amazing combination. I really can't wait to dine here again. It's such a fun atmosphere with delicious drinks and cuisine.

This place is just killer. The service is fast, friendly, and accommodating, and encourages me to come back time after time. They have so much on the menu, there's bound to be something you'll love to eat. Very good Mexican cuisine! Horchata and taco tuesdays are something you simply must experience. If you're thinking about what to eat tonight, you can't go wrong with Coco Bongo.

Best bang for the buck in RDU. The salsa is nice and spicy, they have hot and spicy homemade hot sauce (fire) available upon request.

It never came. After waiting, we had to flag down a server walking by, who eventually brought one--only for it to be broken. It then took another 10 minutes before we finally got a functional highchair. Throughout the visit, the staff seemed far more interested in talking amongst themselves than actually paying attention to guests. The overall atmosphere felt disorganized, inattentive, and unprofessional. The worst part came after we left. I realized almost immediately that I had left my wallet behind and called right away. Instead of any sense of urgency or willingness to help, the host who answered was incredibly rude and dismissive. Before I could fully explain the situation, she cut me off and told me to "call back tomorrow." When I tried to quickly describe the wallet--color, contents, anything that might help--she hung up on me mid-sentence. Considering I called almost immediately after leaving and was brushed off so quickly, it raises serious concerns about whether any real effort was made to locate it. I would hope any establishment would take something like that seriously. Between the lack of attention, the disorganization, and the way a simple, time-sensitive situation was handled, this place clearly has serious issues with customer service. I won't be back.
