You are able to customize toppings, change sugar levels, and change ice levels as well. They have a good variety of flavor options and usually have some type of promotion going on. It's a fast and speedy place with most people grabbing and going. That being said, there is seating in the 99 ranch food hall if you are interested in not taking it to go. I visited specifically because online it stated that they offered red bean but unfortunately they no longer offered it. It was fairly easy to order from one of the two the kiosks available. While I waited for my drink I looked around the frozen aisle of the 99 Ranch Market and by the time I cashed out they just finished my order (took about 10 minutes). This boba shop is located inside of 99 Ranch. Very convenient if you are thirsty after doing grocery shopping. I ordered the drink called 3 guys with less ice. The drink has boba, pudding, and grass jelly for toppings. The milk tea was really good and was sweet which I enjoyed. There are 2 tv screens that displayed the drink menu and limited time holiday drinks, I thought that was cute. The reason why I gave 3 stars isn't because of the drink. It was the service that made me upset. I was waiting for my drink and then saw a drink order on the table, so I went to see if it was mine (since the workers were having a conversation with each other). I turned the drink towards me to see the order number and drink description. Turns out it wasn't mine, I knew because the female worker with curly hair rudely said no. Then she proceeded to think it was okay to speak loudly to her coworkers about an experience she had with a customer getting the wrong drink order and that she was mad. I guess I triggered her memory because I simply turn the drink order number towards me. After her talking to her coworkers about her experience she made my drink wrong. I had to wait longer for my order. She continued to fool around and talked a lot about herself as she was working. There are people waiting for their drinks and she is slowing her coworkers down about being unprofessional. I am totally okay with coworkers bonding and having fun during their jobs, but not like this. She was unprofessional, fooling around, and made the order wrong while offending me. Service was atrocious, the bubble tea was pathetic, and considering the location inside a 99 Ranch, you might as well just buy the tea powder and tapioca pearls yourself to make it at home. While I was waiting, I turned around to look at the adjacent storefront. One of the young staff members shouted, "Pendejo!" very loudly, presumably at me. The man who finished making my drink didn't even look at me or say a word as he handed over a straw when I asked. He was probably ashamed of his immature coworkers. Coco, retrain your employees. I think Coco tastes amazing, usually. Ice T told me so. This is literally one of my favorite bubble tea chains in the world. But not every franchise location is not equal to every other. This one shockingly and disappointingly pre-makes some of their teas, as I saw a whole ton of milk teas in the fridge. One of them was the product that they gave me (on my second visit). I like my stuff fresh. If not for this I would have given 5 stars. I know that in a lot of places they do pre make their bubble teas, but this franchise is not really supposed to do that, I don't think. Nevertheless the taste of the bubble teas is still good. I will give them another try next time I'm in Joy-zey and see if they are still doing that. Four stars until I give it a third try. Of course this is located inside 99 Ranch. We always buy bubble tea on this location after our grocery. But just today 03/06/2023 around 4:40pm. the girl who's working at the cashier is so rude and mean to me and my boyfriend. When she take our order her first word is "WHAT IS IT?" In a mean way. So my boyfriend and I look at each other if she's ok or what. Then when we got our order my bf accidentally dropped his drink and it spill on the floor and he pick it up and asked the cashier if they have a garbage can, she even didn't allow my bf to throw the cup on their garbage and still continue being rude. Worst cashier I've ever experience and have the audacity to call the customer a dumb. Update Review: I almost forgot the unpleasant experience the other day when today two persons voted me as funny a few hours apart today who also sent me messages in capital letters. Of course, I don't know who they really are. However, guts tell me they are the two women who were also present and work there. It is more like employees retaliating over negative online reviews, which shows what kind of people work at this place. I couldn't care less about what they said or thought, as they are not objective. The store hours is listed as closing at 9pm, so we rushed in at 8:53pm. Enough time before closing time to make a bubble tea and not holding up anyone from going home at the supposed time. However the guy with black glasses frames claimed that they closes at 8:50 and refused to serve us. What he said is untenable and out of line.He just told an absurd lie so he could leave 5 minutes earlier. Apparently, he was being lazy and couldn't care less about customer service. If the store closing time is 9pm, they should take customers before that. Rules are rules, not something that can be changed without any solid reason. However, as I was waiting online, I see the girl who is taking order was talking to this gentleman in front of me. Well, it is not really a big deal since some customers are talkative. But then, after his order was completed, the girl was still keep on going with the conversation, as I was waiting to get served. Then I waited and waited, she was keep talking and did not even greet her next customer. Also, I heard she is talking about the college stuff with with this gentleman. Please train your staff better to be more professional even though she is just a staff at a tea shop. When you work, it's your responsibility to do your job at best, for any job in any environment.
