The result is a drink with warm boba at the bottom and cool milk and ice at the top in addition to your flavors of choice. I had the brown sugar boba with oat milk, and I liked it. To make it non-dairy, I skipped the cream on top, so my drink looked a little different than the pictures, yet it was still yummy. The indoor tables are standing only which works well given the busy area. The staff is cordial and somewhat aloof but it works because the customers are literally watching them make the drinks which is a very fascinating process. The aesthetics of the store are minimal but still stylish. Most decor is white and black with pops of red here and there as the accent color, and everything is clean. No restroom unfortunately but that's common in this busy area. I would highly recommend visiting this store for the delicious drinks and the ambiance.

I'm not a Brown Sugar Bubble Tea person, but their boba is honestly really yummy + has the perfect texture! I prefer fruit teas + so my go-tos are the Jasmine Green Tea or their Chrysanthemum Tea with Honey Jelly. The jelly adds a fun texture, while also adding sweetness, so keep that in mind. We also tried their new Dalgona Coffee Boba Milk Tea, which brought me back to COVID days where whipped coffee was trending - sweet bev! Love that XFT has been holding it down since COVID, as plenty of other boba shops have had to close in the area. Overall, a decent spot to grab a refreshing milk or fruit tea!

They're usually passing out free samples, which was what caught our eye! On this day, they were handing out their Osmanthus Oolong Tea with Mango. It was so refreshing that my friend had to order this one! He added Coconut Jelly to his bev (+$1.50!). I opted for something less syrup-forward + got the Honey Osmanthus Oolong Tea. In hindsight, I should've added a topping to give the drink a little something extra, but I still enjoyed my bev a lot, nonetheless. Everything is one size. While their bevs are on the pricier side (+$1.50 for toppings!!), their quality makes up for it. We waited ~15 min for our drink, as they freshly brew the tea as well, providing the authentic flavor. You can tell that they craft their drinks with care, which is what makes this place deserving of their Michelin Guide status! Would have come back to try something else!

A quick Yelp search revealed Dragon Tea a few blocks away from me, so off I went. The store itself is pretty small, but there are a few seats available if you prefer to dine in. Additionally, the interior is clean, well-lit and inviting. Arrived during an off time, so my order was prepared pretty quickly. Ordered my usual go-to drink, Passion Fruit Jasmine Green Tea w/ boba. The juice and tea was very refreshing and definitely cooled me down (albeit briefly) from the relentless heat. And I enjoyed the boba and fresh passion fruit seeds as well. Given the boba was an added topping, I would have liked to have seen more boba added. However, they did add in some pieces of lychee which was a nice touch.

Very pleasantly surprised! Few spots indoors, so could be a workspace. Boba Bubble Milk Tea - good boba, marinated well so there was flavor and decent chew. Surprisingly not old boba. Milk tea was fair, no strong tea flavor but close flavor to many black milk tea. Sweetness adjustments were respected, but slightly on the sweeter side (e.g. 0 sugar would still have a light sweetness).

Upon arrival we noticed the difference in crowds. Not as busy and packed sidewalks. Also it was a lot cleaner than Chinatown. Since we just ate at C-Town, it was time to find a good dessert place in K-Town. So we walked and we walked until I saw a banner sign showing shaved ice desserts. Then I noticed the name of the business is Grace Street. How fitting, because that is my wife's name. So we went in and what caught my eye was a mango shaved ice with mangoes, mochi, strawberries, and condensed milk, however I was over ruled by my wife and we went with the black sesame and mochi and condensed milk. It also had red bean, but that had to be on the side, since that gives me gout. Such nice staff taking orders and we went into the dining area to find a seat. What a large spacious area with many tables. Our order came out and it looked so good. The black sesame shaved ice or snow as it's also referred to as, was perfectly sweetened by the condensed milk and the chewy mochi. Definitely cleaned my pallet from our Chinese lunch and it helped cool me down from the New York heat. We got water, but there was no ice offered, so I asked one of the workers and he was kind enough to get me some. We are through that dessert like, if we didn't finish it fast, it was going to melt. We did not give it a chance to melt one bit. The staff here are efficient, as they saw we were done, they asked to clear our dessert bowl away. It was a nice experience even if it was just dessert. They definitely had more dessert options to offer, but i

Overall, a great casual dessert stop after exploring K-Town, Midtown or nearby Chelsea.

They have a separate area where they prepare the regular HeyTea drinks and another station where they serve/make the lab drinks. There's only a few lab drinks but those drinks are heavenly. You should definitely order ahead and don't rely on placing a drink in person since they're all hands on deck. They also ran out of the meringue that goes on top of the 3.3 drinks and told us that we would need to wait an additional 30 minutes on top of the 30 minutes I already waited. The girl working gave me an option to make it a 3.6 drink instead which is a different type of cream top that tasted delicious! Personal favorite was definitely the Gongfu 3.6! I tried the Gongfu and Gardenia and I will say that the Gongfu was more aromatic in tea than the Gardenia. The Gardenia had almost no taste (tea wise). The pistachio cream top was soooo delicious. It sounds really intimidating but the nuttiness wasn't prominent when everything was mixed in. It adds a nice saltiness to the drink!

The Matcha Zero shaved ice one is the best, it was sooo good. Super refreshing, good matcha flavor, with a decent tea aftertaste. I enjoy the nuts ontop to add that essential crunch to mix up your bites and the creamy touch from the topping. It's a strong complete dessert experience.
