I was very excited and happy to hear that I can just walk in and drop my dog off for grooming! It was very cheap, 40$. He is 17 pounds and he is a Pomeranian mix. However, my dog was not himself when I picked him up. He wouldn't leave my side and he was being skittish. One of the workers also mentioned he was being a bad boy... But the place I usually take him has no problem with him. He is obedient when coming to grooming... I'm not sure how he was being treated in there. We found two abrasions on his body. I didn't notice it until he was licking it all night and saw it all red. If they knew they cut him, I wish they told me so I can take precautions. Also if you don't speak Korean, they won't be able to understand what kind of cut you want. read more

Dropped in last minute before Thanksgiving to trim my pupster's nails. It is literally a 5 min walk from my house so I am glad I found them! No need for an appointment and it is very affordable! I've consistently took my dog here to get groomed for about 2 years. The first time I took her she had a scratch on her nose and they said she got too excited and injured her nose. They gave me medicine and apologized. I know my dog doesn't like grooming and she's very energetic, and since they were honest with me, I was ok with it. However, as time went by, I would find red marks on my dogs belly. I would send pictures and ask them how it happened and they would deny that it happened during her grooming session. The male owner confronted me and said I can't blame them for things like this and that it stresses him out/hurts his business. After that conversation, I stopped taking my dog here. Blaming the customer and not admitting to their mistake is a major turn off for someone who have been going there for 2 years. I guess being a loyal customer doesn't mean zip to this business. There's lot of other dog groomers that have better service, try them out before going here. read more

Been coming here for 2 years after trying a bunch of different places. I used to live around the corner and that's how I first found out about this spot. The owners love my little Luna, she always comes home smelling fresh with a clean and thorough grooming. Very affordable and they are good at what they do! Highly recommend! The most recent time, they cut her ear on accident but that was because a new groomer in training was shaving her. They were super apologetic and this has never happened in the two years I've been going here so I know it was just a mistake. Long review but if you love your dogs, read all the way through! I don't know how this place stays in business or has such a high yelp rating. My mom and I were looking for a new groomer for our two yorkies, and we found this place online. Although we specifically asked that they do not shave our dogs (a lot of lazy or unskilled groomers do this instead of giving actual cuts), they both looked like naked little guinea pigs when we picked them up. We didn't want to be rude, so we never complained. Just picked up the dogs, paid, then left. The owner and main groomer was snarky and rude, but we let it slide. Fast forward a few days, and we notice large open wounds and cuts on both dogs. They were infected and I couldn't believe that the groomer never even told us about them! I get that dogs move and cuts may happen, but a responsible groomer would tell the pet owners so that we could get the cuts/wounds treated immediately. We wouldn't have been angry. We would have just wanted to get them to the vet in case they needed antibiotics ASAP. My mom went back to show the owner. He claimed that it wasn't them, and began to harass my mom. Literally yelling at her and telling her that he didn't leave those wounds on my dogs. It was insane. He then gave my mom some cream to put on the cuts (you know, even though he didn't cause those injuries), and wouldn't talk to her any more after that. A week of putting this cream on the cuts made the wounds even worse so we took them to vet and sure enough they needed antibiotics and special topical medicine for their skin. We went back to the groomer and nicely asked if they would pay for half the bill ($145 was the total) and instead of engaging in mature adult conversation, he starts cussing out my mom and tells her to basically F off and he doesn't care if we sue him, put a nasty review on Yelp, go to ABC7, he don't give a F. My mom left shaking, angry and most of all shocked. How can someone run a business the way this man does? There are so many other groomers in LA who will treat your animals and YOU with much more care and respect than this dump. Go somewhere else!!! read more

This is the worst place ever to take your dog to, don't waste time they charge your card more than they tell you and they are very dishonest. They have the worst attitude the guy that is the worker there is so very rude. I am shaking right now I wanted to take and hurt him but I am not violent. I did give him a piece of my mind and got refunded and took my dog elsewhere. Please please don't take your pets here. All the pets were crying and looked miserable. Horrible place. THEY DISCRIMINATE. These are not skilled professionals. Called ahead for a nail trim. When I arrived they looked at me like I had no business being there and told me they wouldn't cut my dogs nails because he's too large and ONLY serve small breeds. He's a spaniel mix. That is not considered large and it doesn't matter because he just needed his nails trimmed. I asked a real professional groomer if this was a thing. They treat dogs with such great care and my dog loves the lady that owns the shop. A little bit about my pup: she's a midsized cockapoo HERMAPHRODITE . Meaning she has her clitoral skin wrapped around her exposed penis bone. It generally causes her discomfort to sit down and when it rubbed up against anything. Never again! I took my puppy in on a Saturday around 11 for a trim because she was starting to get tangles. The guy told me she wouldn't get done until 3. I expressed my concerns about her being there so long so he suggested she stay in the play area with the other pups until it was her turn. Cool. I was specific about the type of cut I wanted. NOTHING off of her head Or facial area and NOTHING off of her tail. I wanted shorter but specifically said, "Not a summer cut, just shorter." My fiancé went to pick her up and they tried to give her the wrong dog! THEN she comes out BALD and looking like the hair left on her head was shredded. Don't get me started on the various bade burns similar to another picture shown. Like WTF?!? I guess it doesn't matter if you show the groomer a photo of what you want your dogs haircut to look like because they will cut the hair how ever they want. I showed the guy a picture and she's NOTHING like the photo. Maybe a 20% resemblance. I even tipped on top of the $40 haircut and bath because...I like to believe hard work and service should be acknowledged with gratuity. Luckily there's no nips or bleeding. Just an obvious indent that they cut too short and then needed to even out her hair to blend into their mistake. I've learned my lesson and will NOT be coming back. Coco grooming is the best! Chloe, my fur-daughter has been going here for 5 years and never once did we go anywhere else. They're family to Chloe, my Yorkie and I. For two years, everyday Chloe went to daycare 9-6, and after I became self employed from home, Chloe still goes for a bath and haircut 1-2X a month, depending on the season. I've never been unhappy and they truly love your dog like their own. It's a family run place with Mr. Choy and his lovely wife who manages the grooming with her assistant. Chloe is my life, and I don't trust anyone else to cut her. Today I brought Chloe and I sat down at their dining table in at Store and talked for 15-20 min just catching up with them and reminiscing all the years together. I wanted to write this because I'm so grateful to have them. And btw..I was at chanel boutique in Beverly Hills last week and someone asked me, who cuts your dog?! I took my pomeranian to be groomed here and they did an excellent job. I wanted him shaved a bit longer, and scruffy, like Boo, and they were so kind and patient, listened to my request, looked at the pics I brought, and he came out looking exactly as I had wanted. Other groomers I have taken him to have just shaved him short. They really took their time and he's adorable. He was finished in just a few hours. The shop is very clean and nice, and there were a few puppies happily playing in a gated area. I'm so glad I found this place, and would highly recommend it. The pricing is great as well. Groomer is friendly and pretty much gets straight down to business when discussing what kind of work we'd like done for each dog (we have two). We have very clear instructions on what to and not to do since each dog has their own sensitive parts on their bodies. When we picked them up, we very much appreciated and relieved that all of our requests had been addressed. The only one thing I wish he had done was freshen up the dogs with animal-friendly scent sprays. It's something our other groomer in NY did and we loved how they smelled. After moving to LA, I've been looking for a place to take my baby for grooming. I've tried soo many different places in hollywood, ktown, echo park, downtown... literally everywhere to find the right place that grooms my dog the way I like. Seriously.. expensive price or great reviews of other places don't matter anymore.. I've chosen this place because they know how to treat them and know what owners want. Great price too! Their daycare service is great with such a great price $10 all day. Although they don't have a GREAT service and schedule (walking the dogs, training, etc..), they constantly watch the dogs and watch how the dogs all get along with each other. They trimmed my dogs nails because they were too long (which means they were in contact with my dog and were taking care of him closely, not just watching over). They text you the pictures and communicate with you when you have questions (through kakaotalk). Im just too happy that I found a place I was looking for! read more

They only groom smaller dogs so if you have a big pup this isn't the place for you. Coco Grooming is the Best. I've been to many groomers and nothing compares to this couple who really loves dogs. Not only that they groom my dog, they also check for his health as well. At one point they told me that my dog had a slight infection and told me what to do to fix it. Saved me money from going to the vet. Also, a few months ago, they took a picture of my dog's teeth and it was really dirty. They offered to clean his teeth for a lot less than my vet would charge plus they didn't have to use anesthesia which is healthier for dogs. His teeth before and after was amazing. I also noticed my dog does not get stressed out after they groom him. With other groomers, I can tell that he is traumatized. They really treat my dog as if it is their own dog. Every time I come here there's a different price even though it is the same dog. Today I took my dog in and was asked to pay $50 for a dog that is between small and medium. 30 min later I called anonymously asking for the price for a medium sized dog which they answered with $40....????? I asked why they charged me 50 instead of 40 and they did not give a real answer. I will not be returning for I feel they have scammed me, goodbye forever. read more
