Absolutely the best nail salon in Seattle! I have been going here for about 3-4 years now, and every time I try a different nail salon I regret it. They are very accommodating, professional, and clean. They are always very busy (which should be a good indicator for how amazing they are) but they can always start working on you.I've only had to wait literally one time within the 4 years I've been going there. Jenny,( the owner) is very friendly and she's my favorite. I always request to have her do my nails - not because the other people there aren't as good but because she's so friendly. I haven't been there in about 6 months and I went in tonight with my mom, sister, and grandma and she remembered me by name which makes me feel like I'm a lot more than just another 40$. As for the nails, they always come out immaculate. I always get acrylics and a pedicure and the one thing I LOVE about this nail salon is the different variety of designs, jewlery/gems, sparkly powders, tips for acrylics and so much more. No other nail salon I've been too can actually reproduce a design I've showed them online EXCEPT for Diva Nails, and they actually look amazing! My little sister got snowflakes, a snow man, and a christmas tree on her nails and they looked PERFECT. I cannot rant and rave about Diva Nails enough. They also are very reasonably priced and give you a points card and after a certain number of points you get free services. I knew Bernie and Michelle wouldn't steer me wrong when I headed out on Sunday for a pedicure. I think it's a bit easier to find coming from the south, but one crafty u-turn and I was there. There doesn't seem to be a parking lot but street is not hard to find on a Sunday. Good experience overall based on lack of anything going terribly wrong. $20 for a good pedicure and no one banged on my calves like a crazed lunatic (I'm looking at you, French Nails). read more

Went for gel mani and pedis with my mom and sister. Their mani and pedicure were underwhelming-not the best not the worst the problem was they didn't last a full week before lifting at the cuticles/ tips. I got a full set and I could tell when she was doing it; it wasn't going to be the best set I'd ever gotten, but when I left the salon I could tell it was really terribly done. Pooled gel and acrylic all around the cuticles, extremely uneven at the base of my cuticles and very, very thin with hardly any apex. As I expected I could see some lifting around day 3 and lost an entire nail by day 7. I went back for a fill and explained what happened, to the same nail tech who did my first set. I tipped very well for my first set and expected they would be kind enough to discount the fill- it had only been 7 days, hardly any growth but the manicure looked 3 weeks old(I work in an office setting and a manicure can normally last 2 1/2 to 3 weeks). They did not offer me a discount so I did not leave a tip. 2nd set looks a lot better, but extremely disappointed in customer service. She even told me 45$ for the fill at her station and then charged me 47$ at the till. They had already lost any future business from me so I didn't argue. Unbelievable service. I actually stopped by another nail place a few blocks south and was told they didn't have time for me (rude), so I left and found Diva. $25 for a superb shellac manicure with an absolutely incredible hand massage, and as an extra bonus: Cindy (my nail technician) even gave me a complimentary neck/shoulder massage. It was AMAZING. I typically tip $5-$7, but I gave her $12 as I left feeling like a total princess. The salon doesn't look like much from the outside, but trust- it's wonderful. read more

I was recommended here by a friend she raved about how they did a good job. I was very skeptical to try out the place because I've had bad experiences before. While I was getting a mani and pedi I rushed through out the process and the lady that painted my nails did an extremely sloppy job. She barely spent any time on the massage and forced small talk but was more eager to get tip money. Overall I would definitely not come back and the tub was not very sanitary there was a toe nail floating in the water. I live around the area and would rather travel further to get better service. Thank you yelpers for guiding me to this great nail salon. You must be wondering why I have given it only 4 stars if it is that great. First the pros: 1) Staff- very friendly 2) Place is very clean 3) they do a great job and it is absolutely affordable- $36 with tip for a mani and a pedi 4) my friend got a brow wax- it was super quick and they did a good job 5) Plenty of parking in the back Now the con (only one): 1) I went on a Friday evening and they were quite busy and between the four of them working there, they found it a bit difficult to handle the crowd...I had to wait a bit between my mani and my pedi. But overall, I am not complaining, I loved this place and will go back again during a less busy time. read more

I'm a cheapee but know where to dig to the gold and Diva nails has it. Don't come expecting a full ambiance experience. What get is the basic mani - pedi but its done right, fast, and lasts! My nails were cleaned, buffed, polished, and massaged in 30 min flat and I walked out the door with a nice new set of pretty dark nails! It had been awhile since being in an old-school nail salon so the chemical smells got to me for a bit and I came out not just with fancy new nails but a crazy high as well. This is used to be MY nail salon. I really liked the consistent look and quality with getting my nails done here. Really nice staff. I appreciated being recognized as a regular and spoken with by name! The owner is very polite and gave me a gift card to get my nails done for my wedding day! I went here for years. Couple things they could work on? Massages during the manicures happen sometimes but not all of the time (but this is one of the best parts!). Sometimes the staff seem annoyed at helping you pick out your nail color if you ask for a different shade. Hey, it's a service business though, right? These would make it a 4 star experience for me. I made an appointment 5 of us to have a nail day at Diva (after reading the rave reviews) and I have to say we were VERY happy with our experience! The ladies were sweet and super efficient and did a great job. The massage chairs were an extra bonus...ahhh VERY well priced, and thorough! I love this place. The staff are always so nice and they always do such a wonderful job. They take their time and are very thoughtful in the whole process. Make sure to bring cash with you for your tip, it is preferred. I completely understand because I work in the service industry as well and base my income off tips and if all you get are tips on credit cards you won't see that money until you get your paycheck. I am pretty indecisive about picking out my colors, it takes me time to figure it out so the only thing I would change is to not be rushed when I am picking it out. I love spas, have been to many and feel fortunate to live so close to Diva Nails & Spa. Sometimes I am in a huge hurry and need to get in & out fast and other times I want a total experience. When I arrive at Diva, the owner is quick to inquire about what I need and always delivers with maximum satisfaction. I regularly visit for pink and white fills, pedicures & all maintenance that these entail. I have specific parameters for thickness and length and am happy to say that Diva gets what I need done -- quick -- so that I can get on with my busy day. When I want a more relaxing experience, I request an extra massage, paraffin wax for deep moisturizing and I even go in for mini-facials -- which are a bargain at $40 for 45 minutes. The owner has high expectations for her business and it shows. Whether it's your first time or you become a regular, you will not be disappointed. I recommend going in on a Monday - Wednesday for a short wait, if any. Diva is great for anyone who loves spa services and is on a budget or for a lifer like me who has detailed preferences. I am basing this review off of my first experience there. I was hoping to finally find the perfect small salon like in my home town. This is similar....however less friendly. I had a great manicure, I got the Shellac UV Gel manicure and I LOVE it! What makes me give this place less stars is that they were VERY slow to welcome me and get my info, I had an appointment and wasn't seen until 20 minutes later. While I was seated and getting my nails done, an older man in his 50's came in to get a mani and pedi.....they were giggling and pointing at him, talking in their language as he walked to the bathroom. Clearly making fun of him. I was disgusted by this behavior! He is a paying customer! Just because you can speak another language doesn't mean you can ridicule your customers in front of them. The owner, Jenny, was so friendly and remembered my name the second time I came in! How's that for service! She also asked about my kids and actually seemed interested in my comfort and experience. Very clean!!!!! I have been going to Diva almost since the day it opened. I had tried other nail salons and the odor in those places was horrible (cheap nail products), and they were filthy. But Diva is - wow - such a refreshing change! Jenny is the owner and she keeps an immaculate salon. I get wonderful pedicures and gel nails there. They are so precise and thorough with their services. It is worth getting the pedicure just for the massage chair, mmm. I read the other reviews here, and decided to try this. My two daughters and I went there for a 4th of July treat. We got the Pedi-mani for 28$. We loved the massage chairs, and the whole treatment. Lots of nail color choices. They did some extra flowers on my daughters' nails. They were really friendly, but let us read our magazines/books without a lot of chatter. When I paid the bill they had charged me less for my ten year old. Couldn't believe the price. Whole thing was an hour. Place seemed very clean. I parked on the street, but saw the parking behind the store afterwards. Will definitely be back. read more

I am not impressed with this nail salon. I usually do my nails at home and get a much better result. Pros: affordable; I was helped right away; nice massage chairs; pedi was ok; they helped put my socks and shoes on after the service so I would not ruin my nails; lots of mags to distract yourself; lots of nail polish colors; very nice decoration Cons: customers are pretty much ignored during and after service; they talk to each other in their language during the service; questionable sanitation; mani felt rushed; rude when I asked for a punch card; the lady that did my mani was sweet but not very good at painting nails This is all I can remember right now. One of my coworkers spoke very highly about diva nails and convinced me that Jenny was THE best and that I had to go get my eyebrows done there so on my day off I went all the way to lake city and I was honestly treated like crap. I waited for fifteen minutes to be seated in the waxing room, five minutes later told Jenny would be busy and that someone else could do it. Um no thanks?? I also wanted a manicure because i've been wanting to try shellac nail gel... and they said it would be about thirty more minutes. Terrible, terrible customer service. Wasn't even that nice or busy of a salon. Annoyed that i wasted my time bussing to lake city. I would never go back. I would not recommend this salon. I love this place. The staff are very nice and always thoughtful. They are very time efficient and detail within their work. I always get shellac manicure and they last for a long time. They have never peeled on me and I usually do a lot of household work. This is a great place if you know what you want and bring a picture, they will try their best to match the color and design. It is also a great place if you don't know what you want because the staff will always work with you to help you pick a color or design or tip shape, etc. I enjoy coming here and I always come back. The worst experience that I ever had. There work is okay, but there customer care is so bad. There were only one other customer than me, but they were in huge rush!! I wanted to do mini and pedi, so one employee worked on the pedi and other was working on the mini. They kept talking the whole time without asking me any question and they did overlook so many details. However, what got my nerves was after the employee who was doing my pedi finished, they asked me to change my seat, so I did. Then a new employee came to finish my nails, he started and finished without making an eye contact with me. Oh Jenny (owner), we miss you! Service has really gone downhill since you are at your other shop. My last pedicure was just ok. Water wasn't hot, heel file dropped on the FLOOR!!! between uses. What used to be a really great hot towel wipe down was a swipe with a lukewarm towel. The girls you have hired are sweet but are not providing good service. And, what is with the two old guys hanging out in the massage chairs? Disturbing and kind of creepy. The price has changed several times in the last year which wouldn't be a problem if the service kept pace. Part of me wanted to give this place two stars, in the event I am scarred permanently. That way, I could drop the review down to one star later if the situation merited it. However, it's been over two days since I got my eyebrows waxed there and I still have two noticeable cuts from the experience. I was hoping this place could be my regular waxing place, but there is absolutely no way. The waxing attendant had nice enough brows so I thought to myself, "Oh good!" What a mistake that was. The woman made me bleed not once, not twice, but three times! First, she made one eyebrow bleed twice. Then, evidently, she didn't want the other one to feel left out, so it, too, got to bleed. I guess she had moxie, or something. "I made my client bleed but, gosh darn it, she wanted a wax so she's getting a wax!" One of her problems was that she should have used tweezers at times; but, instead, she waxed. For example, if there are errant hairs on the delicate eyelid skin, do not use wax strips on it! Use tweezers! You're not waxing my legs here, you're waxing my eyebrows. Also, she didn't offer to reduce or comp the bill. I am now afraid to get my eyebrows waxed. Because of my experience there, I am seriously considering switching to threading. I waxed my eyebrows at other places before without blood being involved. If I rubbed sand paper against my eyebrows, would my skin be so scarred? It makes you wonder... I would have considered giving this place my business for nail care or facials, but oh lord, that won't be happening. read more

I have recently started enjoying manicures and pedicures, but this was the WORST mani I've ever had!!!! Not only did my sister and I have to wait almost 45 minutes (with clienteles' phones ringing every 10 seconds- ANNOYING), but the manicure was actually PAINFUL! She also didn't file down to even out my nails, which was weird. I also didn't like that they didn't have a standard nudish-pink nail color. AND... the WORST part!? i don't understand why everyone has a problem with them speaking vietnamese. no, they aren't saying offensive things about you, they're just chatting with their coworkers, as you probably do in your own language, and are probably not too concerned with offending cliental who don't speak english, so sit down, shut up and deal with it, these women are fantastic at their job. i'm from white center, capitol of acrylics. i can't speak for their mani pedis. i don't care for mani pedis, BUT i know a thing or two about acrylics. the fill i got today was fantastic. they were so quick, but everything turned out flawless. my 3-D nail art is beautiful, and the polish selection is almost intimidating. no wait, private parking lot, easy to find, and competitive pricing, especially for a salon offering higher priced nail art services. $5 extra for a super tricked out nail with a 3-D rose, rhinestones, and hand designs is a steal, considering the only other salons offering it are snooty or in skyway. nail techs are fast, friendly and listen to your requests! my only disappointment is that french tips cost $3 extra which isn't a standard charge. otherwise no complaints from me! i will be returning if i'm in the area and looking for the best nail art i've found in the 4+ years i've been wearing acrylics. i'd even drive way out of the way for it. i love diva nails! read more

Called today about my horribly chipping manicure and was told that I can't expect it to last a few days. Only after I asked if I would just have to go somewhere else did they offer to fix. I've never had the problem of french tips only lasting 3 days (really only 2 because it was the 3rd that the chipping was noticeable).
