Went there this morning for a gel pedicure and was not pleased at all. I asked the lady to make sure my nails were square, as that's how I like them. They ended up almost a complete circle and clipped so low. On top of that, my feet feel the same as before I went in; she barely scrubbed them and used very minimal lotion. When it came time to pay, it was then that they told me they don't take Discover cards. The only reason they get a star is because they were clean and able to take me in quick as a walk in. Went here asking for a simple pink manicure with hearts on it. The chick Lucy didn't let me choose the pink and went straight for "French" pink. I figured she must know what she was doing but Nah. Then she tried drawing hearts and drew big clumsy fat kindergarten hearts. I told her to just switch to French. But so now it's 2 days later and the $55 powder gel manicure is chipping. I really love this place and they do a good job but honestly it shouldn't take 2.5 hours for a plain power gel manicure. Yes it stays on, yes it stays for 2-3 weeks. But, people have things to do and places to see. I want to keep coming here but the past several times I've gone here it's taken far too long. An hour and 15 minutes is more than enough time to get a powder gel manicure done. read more

Terrible experience will not return. My particular issue was with Sophia, however, the technicians in general were extremely slow, had sub par skill levels and were overbooked. Sophia became inexplicably angry and aggressive when I changed my mind about a nail service. I decided on dip powder instead of gel manicure, however, Sophia proceeds with gel and becomes enraged when I remind her of the change. She gets into a heated exchange with the owner/manager. I eventually tell her to just proceed with the gel, she does and the polish does not take. After 3 botched applications and reapplications, my nails filed down beyond paper thin, her stopping my service to adjust the tissue between the toes of an irate customer, me addressing the unsanitary nature of that, more back and forth with the owner/manager and said irate customer Sophia decides to quit my service. The owner/manager (who did a horrible job on my daughters dip powder service) takes over. 2 botched applications with her and now 3 1/2 hours in the salon she finally completes the service. The gel polish starts to bubble on 3 nails on the car ride home and peels completely off one nail. The gel polish continues bubbling and is barely clinging to remaining nails. Poor service,, poor product, unskilled technicians, a waste of time and money. I do not recommend! read more

Three years ago, this was my go to pedicure spot. Now? It absolutely terrible. The entire original staff is gone! New owner that just sits there on her phone; who doesnt do nails or pedicures. No more cappuccino spa pedicures or any spa pedicure for that matter. No one can do eyebrows either. They dont even have hot nail polish colors anymore like a hot pink or coral. The best nail salon I have been to!!! The place is so CLEAN! This is so important to me especially after the experience with the prior owners called Eve's nails. They were so dirty, I got a terrible Cellulitis on my leg from the bacteria when receiving a pedicure. Coco's is the opposite end of the spectrum. They use sanitary disposable plastic covers in their sinks for pedicures and the girls also ware gloves to prevent bacteria from spreading. Their utensils are sterilized for every new application. On top of this, the staff is friendly and accommodating. I wont go anywhere else. Thank you Coco's for coming to Massapequa Park :) read more

I dont know what happened here. All the nail technicians that used to work here are gone!!when I got here, they were a bit busy, so I asked how long. They said 5 minutes, but they had each person working on multiple people. I was not very impressed with my experience today. I broke a nail so needed a tip. They glued a tip on and started to put polish on, until I asked about the purple liquid and powder that is supposed to go on so it doesnt fall off. She also cut my nails way too short. They were a good length and I agreed at the cut length but she was very aggressive with the file so they are now way too short. The girl kept manhandling my hands to put them in a position she preferred. Now after a few hours of my gel manicure, the new nail has 'catches' on the sides so I will have to file them myself and will probably chip now because of it. I'm truly disappointed as all the previous nail technicians were great. It was convenient and good. I would rather travel and have a good gel manicure. read more

I've moved many times and this nail Place is my favorite! My manicures Last two weeks even Without gel. The price is good. I've gotten multiple Free mani's with their rewards point system. They don't have many Gel Colors but they have enough. They have lots of Polish color. Everyone is great. Call and make an appt and try it. read more

the first two times I came here it was nice.... because they weren't rushing. this time I literally had to leave after getting my previous gel taken off because I was so unhappy about the way selina rushed shaping my nails even after I asked her to make them even (she was rushing so much that they were slanted like crazy which drives me nuts). I had to go to a different salon for them to fix my nails. I feel bad about bringing my business somewhere else from now on, but at the same time if i'm paying for a service plus a tip on top of it I want to be 100% satisfied. the place is also very scuzy and kinda dirty/unhygienic looking. read more

I really miss Eve's nails, this place is bad. I went once a couple months ago for a mani pedi and it was ok but not great, but I decided to give them another shot. This time I went in just for a pedicure and they immediately hand you a "menu" of pedicure options even though I said I wanted a basic pedicure and didn't have the time to spare for a lengthy process with massages etc. The girl kept saying the "green tea was the best for the price" aka the most expensive at $40 bucks. Give me a break. I politely said no thanks, just regular pedi then I guess she was pissed bc she proceeded to aggressively cut my toenails so incredibly short. I had enough at that point, so I told her I decided I didn't want a pedicure anymore and grabbed my things and left. Horrible. read more

I visited Coco for the first time on October 12, 2019 for a manicure. Kelly was my nail technician. She took her time, did an excellent job and my manicure (regular polish) lasted two weeks. I have NEVER had a manicure last more than a week- usually less. My daughter was a bridesmaid in a wedding and needed to go for a mani/pedi so I recommended Kelly. My daughter made an appointment and she loved her. They were clean and neat and had nice music playing vs. other salons I have been to with a tv showing the news which is not very relaxing, in my opinion. read more

Coco Nail & Spa recently opened in Massapequa Park. I went for many years to Eve's Nails, which was formerly in this space and had closed recently. Coco Nails is EXCELLENT. They renovated the store and it is immaculate. Cleanliness is extremely important - they line the pedicure tubs with plastic that is changed after each use and each set of tools is sterilized and sealed in plastic so you know that you are getting clean tools. The nail technicians are all extremely nice and the atmosphere is very relaxing. I highly recommend this salon and encourage all former Eve's Nails customers to give them a try. (Also, as part of their "Grand Opening", they offered a 20% discount). read more
